I remember seeing this on world of sport in 1975 or 1976 and my brother couldn't stop laughing at the way that, that useless hillbilly kept holding his head after squashed by B D
Where on Earth did you find this Tag Match ??? I have most of the Big D .v. Haystacks televised tag bouts but not this one! It's a rarity from the late 1970s!!!!
Hi Alan, if you are a fan of Big Daddy and Giant Haystacks and are on facebook why not join our Big Daddy & Giant Haystacks page. We have loads of photographs of the men throughout their careers and lots of comments and discussion with fans from all over the world including former wrestlers who wrestled against and with the two big men.
That stupid dangerous move big daddy does is a joke he clearly hurts people doing it ffs he lands full weight on there head and torso he really wasn't anything good at all looking back on it but kids loved him and for some weird reason so did the mums and dads 😂😂😂😂 ffs 😂😂😂😂
It’s a sprung ring, a show, all rehearsed. Came to my military’s bas yers ago, St Clair had a real dirty match, crowd loved it - ended up with his opponent (Japanese guy from Bond) stretchered off. Both at the bar later and off to the next show the next day! Nobody got hurt, unless occasionally by accident. Same as nobody gets hurt in a theatre fight!
@@richardpeake8653 lol Many people have commented on how shite big daddy was and how he actually did hurt people with his dangerous moves and I loved all this when I was young I thought big daddy was the best ever but now has a adult I see he was very over rated and dangerous and yes they all went out for a beer or 10 afterwards lol but it doesn't take away how bad and dangerous some of his crap moves were!!! Even if the ring is spung 25 stone landing wrong is gonna fuck u up fast lol
I it was a farce tbh...none of it was real. They were not even good enough actors to pull it off that well!! I suppose that the kids enjoyed it,but watching the same routines every time from them got a bit boring! They had their 15 minutes of fame, but effectively wrecked wrestling in the U.K.
a woman would say that, like to sea your man, or your brother take a splash or corner post squash off one of those big guys, i didnt think so, because their not tough enough.
This is probably the best shape Haystacks was ever in. A fearsome man in the ring.
I read he was 30 stone when he started wrestling but by the 1980s he was 40 stone. That's 420lbs to 560lbs.
This takes me back to my childhood in the 70s, tea and crumpets and watching the wrestling, those were the days.
it was fake
Great stuff! The big lads at their most athletic here..
Big daddy running.... wow
Haystacks daddy much slimmer here?
Earlier days.
Daddy and Haystacks were once tag partners.
Big Daddy when he was a bit slimmer and lighter. He almost moves like a wrestler here. Even Haystacks looks a lot less than his 42 stone!
Great stuff..crowd going wild...
Them good country folks in Tennessee musta bin real upset to see their native son, Hillbilly Hallam, treated that way! It ain't right!

Haystack was a gentĺei giañt
Hatstacks was the better wrestler, and unlike Daddy, Haystacks was a lovely gentleman off camera and out of the ring.
Haystacks used to be much thinner.
40 years ago wow
boy gutted the Haystack good...aired out that big keg...
Great day's miss them
Out of breath after all the finger pointing steady lads

@@rowds 😂😂😂😂2 years to think of that 😂😂😂😂 and 25 stone dropping on ya head without looking after your partner is going to fuck you up fast (NUMBSHULL)
Looking back, I guess it passed away 50 minuets on a Saturday afternoon. Good fun provided you did not think it was real!!

None of it was real?! Well done Miss Marple 😂 😂
No different to WWF or WWE in the states its all the same but it was fun in the 70s at the time.
Everybody knows it was real so how can you say that??
You still would not want be thrown round like that and all that weight coming down on you
I'm lucky enough to own the script to this pantomime
