What a refreshing video!!! So nice to watch the progression, most people get demotivated so quickly towards the end game content. I hope they watch this !!
Took me 35 deaths to get quiver, then turned around and got infernal cape in 3 attempts a couple days later. Doing quiver before inferno saved me so much time cause I already understood movement mechanics and flicking. Also the simulators helped a ton. Congrats on yours!
I also recommend doing quiver first. The content is much more enjoyable. You can tele out if you don't know what to do, to save on death costs. You make money if you get a good drop and claim.
Fun fact: Learning the Colosseum is 100 times harder when you are using Gnomonkeys G5 tile, which is what he uses for speedruns. The B5 tile is what you'd use in normal runs because it deletes a possible spawn location from behind you.
RS3 also has a version of Zuk that is super hard. It was one of the most frustrating things I’ve ever done, but the happiness when I completed it was unmatched. I’m definitely going to try the OSRS version at some point. I’m lucky since I really enjoy playing both games.
Beautiful message in the end. :) thank you for the inspiration! I'm ready to try the Inferno for the first time ever once I get a computer back one day 😊
Gratz my fellow Gilenorian Brother!!! I think I speak for everyone when I say that we have been waiting for this day to come for a hot minute! End game pvm is sooooo fun once you get past the hurdle of learning it. Looking forward to your future adventures!
best thing i did during colo grind was clip every death then go back and watch it and figure out exactly and definitely what i should have done and what would have been completely safe
Love the longer video to just listen to while working gratz on getting all of these goals done :D when i saw mastering runescape i thought like master tier combat achievements haha
Congrats, dude! It's also good that you kept winning the ODR challenges for a while to help fund this, too, given how expensive that final bit was. Seriously though, well done! 48:10 Also, this got a good laugh out of me. I'd love to see a video of you getting the Quest Cape, and leaving Sheep Shearer for last!
Honestly, super impressive you’ve pulled all of these off. Great way to send off the year. I’ll hopefully join you one day if Araxxor would just give me a rancor drop…
Hi Alonescape! You might not know me but I’m a growing creator, I wouldn’t exist if it weren’t for you, I’ve followed you a very long time.. this video hits hard as I’ve also thrown myself at content to better myself and my content for the fans. You’re doing amazing and you’re inspiring a new generation of creators to pick up this game. Keep rocking
Congratulations on the cape, quiver and the blorva! but please finish sheep shearer hahaha Definitely gonna be keen to get into all the same content once ive got a tbow
Playing on fixed classic display mode moves the inventory close to the screen. It's also really good for pvp because you can gear switch, prayer switch and move with only small mouse movements.
I like gnomemonkey as much as the next guy but I think he is doing a major disservice to the community making that video saying to use the SW pillar at Colo. This video is proof of it. He used the SW pillar, most likely because of the Gnome video, and failed over and over. As soon as he switched to NW he got to Sol. SW pillar is only better if you are a prayer flicking god that can immediately tell when things are off ticked and get in cycle. That is like maybe 1% of the player base... For normal players, NW is INFINITELY easier. Once you deal with the warbands, usually you have at most 1 other NPC to deal with on the south side before you can start managing the stack at your own pace and planning it out.
Raids and several endgame bosses are hard content done right. The Inferno and Colosseum requiring near mechanical perfection and abuse of unintended game mechanics(such as prayer flicking) are hard content done very, very wrong.
Managed the Inferno after 97 attempts. Did a solo deathless 500 for the Cursed Phalanx after 73 attempts. Patience isn't what's stopping me from the others. The thing stopping me from attempting Blood Torva or Colosseum is the massive GP loss. I hate losing money.
This is literally how I feel, so I'm sending inferno when I get back from work. Made it to zuk once, but time to lock in 😂 tired of being cheese Cape bullied
I challenge your speed run to lose an awakeners orb - i got an orb from duke, then my cat jumped on my desk and i died, alright.. i wasnt too upset, dying is just a gp check, plus i was happy to get the orb the kill before, alright.. well, i tele back with my ring and collect my loot, its time to get revenge! I click to go in, not realizing it was asking me if id like to use my orb i hold down 1 on the keyboard and run up to the top just to get banged out by getting stunned and one of the extremity’s sat me down.. ALRIGHT I hadnt realized i used the orb until after i came back to collect my loot and it was gone😂 Then i was sick cause im an iron and was going to save as many as i could before practicing on a main acc. Great vid bro, gz forreal!
Hallo alone, I randomly got recommended your video and wanted to comment for the feature people that watch this, just as a bit of context I have around 55kc at 164 deaths, which while not that good, still does give me a good amount of knowledge on the content Colo is easier with range, just bring a swap for sol. Melee itself is only worth it if you're either completely tick efficient and have spec weapons, else the slight dps increase will be offset by ticks not spent attacking due to being slow at solving waves. Some invos are instant resets no matter what and some solves are so ridiculously hard that even extremely good pvmers would struggle with them (NW pillar double manti AB spawn with shocker range same tick for example).Melee is ass for new players and as you expressed in your video, extremely demotivating. Like my dude there is so much shit that could have made your life easier and while this issue keeps the profit from colo so absurdly high, it's such amazing content that I wish more people were able to try it out well informed. I was planning on making an actual guide for this since the content revolving colo is not really good enough for range and at the same time, baits the fuck out of you as melee. Also most of the thought process is never really explained correctly. The major struggle was finding the info about colo instead of actually doing it. With that being said, I would love to actually do the guide with you and just publish it in your channel if you'd be up for it! It would be a range focused guide with all the info needed from plugs ins, tiles, solves and pre first quiver invo tier list + tips. I don't really have the editing skills to make this good at all, but I do have the knowledge lol If you're up for it or anybody needs help learning colo with range (really any 10 range weap is good enough, but bowfa up pref) feel free to add me in disc: MoonDawg
Well, that was a pretty INSANE video! Gratz on becoming a BEAST at the game!!! 😃👍🏼👍🏼 Wonder when they’ll give us a new boss that’ll give the new BIS magic cape? - Machinist_2
Ok I used to be a Rs3 player and always found that rs3 players were waaaaaay further along in PvM abilities over OSRS players but you explaining how tick perfect you need to be with these new OSRS bosses is nutty. In rs3 you needed to be tick perfect to PvM with elite groups but is OSRS you simply need to be tick perfect to survive anything!
This isn't true buddy. You def don't need to be tick perfect to be accepted into group pvm. Even elite players can't replicate tick perfect strategy most of the time
@@mohdawad7339 you are right you don’t need to be tick perfect to be accepted to group PvM, what I mean is you need to be tick perfect to be apart of the top 5% of elite PvM players in rs3. Yes we don’t always get it right but to even be apart of those teams you need to be consistently doing everything perfect:)
@@tanmanfehr6805 seems like you really overstimate how much good average player really is. It's a goal that I know I'll never achieve. I can't pray flick well at all and that's the toughest thing for me. I really wish I could use a keybind to switch prayer. It might be doable for me then.
I’ve been putting off going to the inferno for so long. I play iron and I haven’t got rigour yet, so I’ve been telling myself when I get it I’ll go. But I’m so dry at cox lol maybe I should just go try
The most impressive part to me is that you put all of this into one vid rather than making it a several part series. Bravo brutha
Yeah for real. I would have milked the hell out of each one
Tbh I would also watch a more in depth mini series!
I find that silly more than impressive, better to make more money and make each part super high quality for the viewers
