I'm with you on this one Todd: "Clubface is King!" And, you are probably the only instructor that I have viewed that emphasize the 45* angle which I feel that a lot of the amateur golfer are not aware of! Also your suggestion of the golf glove logo pointing down to the ball is extremely important in controlling the clubface. As an experienced golfer, I am very much a proponent of the VLS which you advocate. Well Done Todd!!
I’ve discovered if I concentrate on shoulder turn to start the backswing along initiate the downswing using my shoulder turn stops using my hands to start the swing process.
Good stuff, nothing better than a solid struck shot. Have you read our book The Bad Lie where we cover the Vertical Line Swing system? You can learn more here www.badliegolfbook.com/
Coach, you know I love my irons dearly. Yesterday, I went to the P3 and did quite well. Still have that late hook, but the amount of compression I'm getting is amazing. I must admit, if I don't take enough iron (one up), I will over hit, and my left shoulder will come out of sequence, and it ends up being a bad shot. Mind you, sometimes the results are what's needed 😂😂😂😂.
Todd, Mark Vreeland from Chesterfield, MO - is your book available in electronic form? I do most of my reading from my iPad and that would be great to have the ‘Bad Lye’ on my iPad. Thanks

I'm 76 years old, have a broken left hip and a bad right shoulder. My shots are very low l the way to my wedges. What can I try to get the ball in the air?

Todd, when you are striking the ball do you feel like you're hitting it with the right side or pulling with the left side? Thanks
