This was absolutely incredible. I have never heard someone break it down this simply. Thank you for this
Btw, Dollar stores (Dollarama in my area) have a lot of the pre-packaged stuff for cheaper (1kg of pasta for $1, "extra big" loaf of bread $2, tuna for $1, etc)
Walmart also has good prices on canned stuff, often bread at 2 or 3 for $5 or $6. Also, pre-cooked chickens are a good bang for the buck, being only $8.50 for a medium, or $10 for a large.
Can't tell you how much time your experience and collective wisdom saves me in total minutes each day. You have changed how I shop eat and prep. Thank you so much.
Man I miss being in Ontario. Seeing Food Basics took me back 😂😂
Is food basics all over canada?
Holy shit I needed this so much. Trying to get fit and healthier on a budget. Thank you for giving me a better image that it's possible. I think one reason why I'm worried about changing my life is because the work needed is just too hard. You showing how easy it is makes such a huge difference. All the best from Ontario
I wish it was still this cheap in 2023 😢
Im currently bulking on over 4000 calories and 225g of protein with 180g salmon in there every day and freshly squeezed orange juice which is fairly expensive at like 1,50-2€ per day and my groceries come up to 500€ ish per month.
Such a nice guy, humble happy and helpful. If only all were like this, thank you
In the states Costco sells fresh cooked whole rotisserie chickens for $5 bucks.
just cook it yourself. cheaper.
it doesn't matter if it's long but the fact that it is in full detail does not make it boring at all.
thats only $308 a month in the states. thanks for the continued motivation
All this is cheaper where I live in the state.
you can't beat this, everything well researched and broken down, explained so articulately, glad i found this channel!
Sarah Quinn thanks for watching!
My favorite comment is "The easiest thing to do is eat the same shit". I think people over complicate it. Great video.
I've read its more efficient too, your body adjusts digestive enzymes to maximize nutrient uptake
you are very right! the problem i faced was really getting tired of eating the same foods all the time!
@@jonathanw1567 its hard to do unless you can program yourself to think of food as just fuel and not a source of pleasure.
@@T0tenkampf yea I actually know that mentality though, I instructed martial arts almost 20 years and being a student of bruce Lee, I know his saying well, eat to live , not live to eat. I did that for so long and also being in construction making my own lunches and food is something I've done for almost 30 years so yea I think I got that covered
Hey Fouad
Im not a bodybuilder at all, and im actually trying to loose weight atm. But Ive watched all Your videos on prepping and shopping. Reminds Me that everyone has to do these things in order to reach a certain goal.
I lost about 30 kg a couple years ago.. have kept it off almost. Now im just trying to not gain weight, but get in better shape in general.
I get a lot of motivation from Your videos. Went to the gym 19 days in january. Still Going in february.
Keep Them videos coming my man💪
Erik Juarez DK good for you man keep working!
I wish I had this content when I was coming up!
Clear, concise and easy to follow. Really appreciate a demonstration of truth and helping others to achieve their goals. Wishing you the best and continued success..
Good idea sir!! But in malaysia. The cost a bit expensive.
You have to eat anyway and it's often cheaper to eat a bodybuilder diet than a regular diet. You can substitute rice for more expensive carbs.
Hey brother I know this video took you a lot of time to do, but I really really appreciate it. Shows how much you care about your viewers. Cheers m8
Added this to watch later, great info and breakdown!
More videos like this, are amazing
The manual can openers gets my forearms huge 💪🏻 😂
Musket that’s why I use them 😉
Grip training at its most effective
@Devon R B Definitely. Trade skills are great supplemental training. When I got into blacksmithing I started noticing a huge difference after awhile. It works muscles that can be hard to target with weight training alone.
Man watching you gives me lots of hope. I appreciate the content and i appreciate you brother.
Fouad !!! I love meal prep vids !
I was less keen on the spaces before the exclamation marks so a 👎 from me.
Hey straight to the point with meals to make you big and not worrying about flavor like what everyone else does. Good vid man
Call me crazy or correct me but I added it up to 112 g of fat and not 77, 360 g of protein, and 473 g of carbs?!
Collin Stuart maybe my math is off 🤷🏽♂️
Fouad Abiad yea not being critical i was seeing if I missed something!
@@c_stu Maybe, I was never good at math, I will triple check.
Yeah I got the same . The macros are off.. but Since you can eat me I saw nothing.🙈🙉🙊
@@DevoHod lol, also 99c pasta for 2 meals 40c each?
Thanks for laying it out from shopping, to cooking, to packing, to macros, to calories and cost breakdown. I don't think I've seen a video like this before. Thanks!
$20/day. Shit, some people spend that on one fast food drive-through meal.
Love this fouad always gets me motivated to eat even when not feeling it
1.69 for tuna? In Austin, TX it's just under or over a $1 depending on the store. Do y'all remember when canned tuna was .50?
prezbige ya but these are Canadian dollars so it’s not that different
I found 55 cent cans of tuna in November. Now they're about 85 cents each can
Glad I found your channel. You take time to help and it’s greatly appreciated. You’re a good dude.
Appreciate your time and what is able to be done
Can’t complain $9 chicken get you 4 meals meanwhile when you go to starbucks.... no excuses
Seriously. Costco still has fully cooked rotisserie chickens for like 5 bucks.
@@ssj4naka Those chickens are usually cooked in a fair amount of oil right? With the skin on? Wonder what the difference is between those chickens vs chicken breast raw, cooked.
In Australia cooked chickens at the shop are closer to 10$ but go to 5$ in like the last 2 hours of the day if there's any left.
@@Casanova-Frankenstein_93 I'm sure you can look up the difference online or an app like my fitness pal but it shouldn't be that much difference. Rotisserie is just seasoned and cooked in that spinning oven or whatever.
damn this content is genius. he understood that many of us are training under budget and he understand the struggle. keep posting stuff like this and more people are going to be in shape than not. many people go straight to shit food because their reason being is that shit food cost less
