Salam Alaykom, I am trying to attempt this drawing, for the galaxy part, do you apply the paint with a dry or wet brush? Also, how much paint do you put on the brush? When I tried it, I dab just a little bit of paint on the brush but it fades quickly but when I add more paint, I am unable to get the smoky/cloudy look, so what is the balance between the amount of paint? Your painting is awesome, you inspired me to start painting 💜
I think the key to this is blending in small circles to achieve the smokey effect. I believe it is also dry on dry. So you must let the underneath be completely dry. I have not done this painting but I have done similar ones in the past. Another data point ; often times we have the tendency to want to give up half way thru because we think it looks horrible and messy. But sometimes that is part of the process. It usually ties all in together beautifully if we just don't give up! Good luck💜
Out of this world😅 Curious, how would it look after you color the background you add the stars, dry them then add blues and purples, and more stars on top of that? Would be make it look like the stars are beyond?
I really appreciate the captions telling us what colors you’re using when you add them. Do you have a specific brand of paint you use? I’m going to attempt to make this for a gift 😬
Used to be depressed and wondered why I was here on this planet, but Jesus saved my life. He can save yours, too. I'm no longer depressed but the Joy of the Lord is now my strength. Like my name, Joy! :)
Oooh, good question! I came to see if it mentions whether you let the "black" dry before adding the colour (I have my audio off), I didn't think of this!
hi there! want to attempt this as a gift for someone who likes galaxy stuffs. I'm using Daler Rowney, is that ok? also, may you share the brushes you use? Flat brushes mostly right?
Hello I don't use Daler Rowney so I am not sure, I used a flat square brush, filbert brush and small round brush that can help me with details. :D Let me know if you have anymore questions.
For acrylic, do you mix with water or you straightaway use the paint itself to paint? Also 3:31 , the brush is dry and you just dab a little bit of paint to paint it?
@@masyitahc196I am trying to attempt this drawing as well and I have the same question, do you apply the paint with a dry or wet brush? Also, how much paint do you put on the brush? When I tried it, I dab just a little bit of paint on the brush but it fades quickly but when I add a lot of paint, I am unable to the get the smoky/cloudy look, so what is the balance between the amount of paint? I like the academic way how he used the brushes to do every step. Some videos showed you how to use sponge or toothbrush. I admit it’s creative, but just not what I want to learn.
I tried to do it … OMG I need to find another hobby
😂 lollll at least you tried!!
I keep saying the same thing, but here I am again! 🤣 they make it look so easy!
Make sure you let the paint dry (acrylic is the fastest) before starting with other colors.
😂😂😂😂😂
Usss

Te quedó hermoso! Me encantó verlo escuchando de el fondo el sonido de la lluvia, gracias! Haces que parezca fácil de pintar

I’m going to attempt to make this for a gift 😬
No problem, yes I usually use Liquitex and Amsterdam acrylic paints, I also sometimes use paint from Mont Marte :)💙💙
WONDERFUL ❤️ ARTWORK ❤️
Thank you for sharing! Blessings!
What brushes did you use?
The name of the brand and names/numbers?
How do make that soft blend with bristles? Any specific brushes recommended? Whenever I try it is flat color which I cannot blend into feathers 🙁
Same. Mine just combines with whatever the dominant color is.
Key is dry on dry blending in small circles. I often use a makeup brush for this. A medium size foundation round brush
NICE JOB.
Jesus loves you
Lindo!! ❤

Can you do this on a black canvas? Or is it easier to blend painting the canvas black?
Thank you 🙏
Oooh, good question! I came to see if it mentions whether you let the "black" dry before adding the colour (I have my audio off), I didn't think of this!
You can do it on a black canvas, or let the black paint dry and then start the galaxy :))
@@AhmadArt thank you for the reply! Can’t wait to try this one out. And thank you for taking the time to show us tutorials, you are appreciated!! ✨🌟💫
@@Littlewings1211 you can get black canvases at Michaels!
Is it raining outside?
I want to try it, is it hard for a beginner?
Which paint use this painting
Hey where did you learn all this!!
❤❤
Do you have to wait until the first layer is dry? Sorry, I’m a newbie to this.
Yes
If not it will get a mud color and look horrible. Patience is key
What brushes do you recommend for this?
Idk maybe a pencil

Great work but get rid of the sounds effects
IT’S RAIN SOUNDS, just mute it because its in all of my videos :D
He looks to be using metalic paints. I use them as well in some of mine.
