Wolf that sucker down like I was starved. Everyone looked at me either in disgust or awe, couldn't tell which.
As an Indian, I would say not really. While I found our version of pizza tasty and ofcourse catered to our taste palette, but I love cooking and baking, So I once tried making an authentic italian pizza, it's way better. It's simple flavour but amazing taste. Infact now when I order pizza, the mayonnaise in pizza feels so out of place. Ofcourse the pizza places changed recipe to suit our taste the Same way foreigners make our food sweet to suit them.
About simplicity. One Italian man who was visiting my country said pizza here is not a pizza but a pie 💀🤌because of the vast quantity of ingredients hes like did you put everything in the fridge when you make pizza. When i first saw pizza Margherita i thought wth is that , it qas just the sauce and cheese
