- After four months of delaying it, I FINALLY have my epic battle theme finished. It's the FireRed/LeafGreen remix of Champion Blue's/Green's theme, originally in Pokémon Red/Blue/Green/Yellow. It was made in Mario Paint Composer, a PC/Mac imitation of the Mario Paint music sequencer.

This has to be one of my favorite songs in life. The Melody, Counter Melody, and Bass have the most badass parts at any time of the piece. This is what truly brings the piece together. (Tear) (:' )

i love the part from 1:11 to 1:15 but in leaf green and fire red they made it more dramatic than the first generation games

This was one of my (if not my most) favorite battle theme from the series.
Gary just felt like letting red win, and became a gym leader to stop anyone who wanted to get all the badges.

@boooyo1 It was originally the elite 4 because there were 4 trainers. Lance was the champion. When Gary/Blue beat Lance, he became the new champion and thus there were now five trainers on the elite four, they just didn't change the name after Gar/Blue won.
I mean this is good too. I didn't say PokeRemix Studio's remix is bad or anything. They both do a fantastic job :)
By the way, I like his Route 111 remix :) It's the best!!!

@demonsasuke9689 No, I actually meant the gym leader Blue (Viridian City), not the Champion Red on Mt. Silver who shares the champion theme with Lance.

@bwburke94 His canon name in the english version of the games is Blue. This is seen in S/G and SS/HG where as a gym leader where you can't choose his name its Blue

I fought Gary in Blue with my Blastoise and Mew (and some cannon fodder I didn't level). My Blastoise didn't even know Hydropump. By the end, I was out of revives, and Blastoise was down for the count. With only my Mew left, Gary sent out Venusaur. The problem was my Mew was about 10 levels below Venusaur and had no PP on any moves except one:
Transform.
So I beat Gary's Venusaur to death using my Mew transformed into his Venusaur. I love the Mew glitch.

@videpgamer004 In FireRed/LeafGreen/Red/Blue/Yellow, Lance says that you would have been Champion when you defeat him, but Blue beat him first. The real question is... who was in the Elite Four when Blue challenged them? Because if Lance was Champion, that means that Agatha was 4, Bruno was 3, Lorelei was 2, and ??? was 1. Always wondered about this but Nintendo has never given us an answer or even someone who could have possibly been that missing Elite Four. :P I guess the world may never know!
