There are multiple bad tracks in this album. Majority of the tracks feel like freestyles from start to finish. No really good hooks either. TNS is better in my opinion, it’s a lot smoother and crisp.

It may be that I'm a sucker for a New York type boombap beat but I found the beat amazing and the way that J.I.D was able to spit and flow on it while synergizing and keeping up with east coast legends like Method Man and Joey Badass despite how different their styles are from each other is fantastic and like Shawn said, I can replay this song over and over again. I personally found Tiiied to be one of the worse tracks here(not that I disliked it) but I guess it hasn't been a day yet and opinions might change.

J.I.D always gives a phenomenal performance. "After a project like this it becomes less of a question of whether or not he will give a good performance and it becomes a question of when is he going to get the recognition." Just like Dicaprio.

So many good albums this year. We got Swimming, Taboo, KOD, Astroworld, FM! and now DiCaprio 2.
It was a very solid project, for sure. But a 9/10... nah. This is a 7.5 from me - JID continues to show his versatility but the fusions of multiple producers obviously branding themselves on this as well as just a lack of coherence towards the main theme of DiCaprio is kind of a turnoff from the album experience. Still JID’s flow is incredible and there’s glimpses of him molding his own personality. This seems more playlist styles though - I mean take the track with Method Man and Joey Badass, it’s a clear throwback New York boombap track vs. The rest of the projects more trapish flavoured instrumentals. Solid but there’s still some growing pains as an ARTIST JID needs to get through

This man legit predicted that JID would get recogniciont for something with less importance to him as an artist. In the present he is on the top because of a feature on an imgine dragons song. As a long time fan of his work I feel exactly as shawn describes his feelings for the dicaprio oscar, I feel glad he gets the recognition he deserves, but at the same time I feel like he has better work in his past.
