      We are not delaying ice age but making the process faster.
      Every ice age came after a form of global warming.
      Ice age is a way for earth to heal it self.
      Look around the world, i think it was last year the middle east had snow storms.

      And what's the likelyhood there?😂 Sorry for being mean. I didn't mean to. Love you all.❤ An ice age would at least take care of the africans moving north(They don'tlike the cold.). I mean we don't have to let them into our home. If you want them dead(Why?), why bother fighting. It's called lazyness.

    I learned years ago that Earth is tilted and rotating on a 23.5° axis.
    My hypothetical question is this: What if Earth was tilted and rotating on a 11.75° axis? Or for those who prefer a whole number, how about 12°? Easily a question that I would love to see be researched for any kind of answer.

      I don't know much about it but about seasons if you tilt earth to 12 dgree then the summer and winter would both be less hot and less cold respectively.
      But i know more about the gravitational field. As you know the poles are not as round. Due to change in position respective to sun and moon the earth's orbit would slightly change . The gravitational waves or ripples will increase slightly due to tilting earth to . And someother geographical changes but i have no odea about it
      12 ° .

    • @reinholdbeck7097
      @reinholdbeck7097 2 роки тому +3

      Then there just wouldn't be any noticeable seasons in the temperate climate zones, so no winter and no summer as we know it today, just spring or fall the whole year.

    • @s-b9ifjry7732

      Other comments already answered this, but the main affect would be less extreme seasons.

    • @ArdenzL

      There will be no significant season. Most of the earth will only have tropical season. Less ice on north and south pole and sea level is rising. Most of the pacific countries never existed. Humans only lived in the main continent.

    What would humanity do when those ice sheets that carved out our modern mountains started going through places where we have nuclear bombs or nuclear waste stored, move the nuclear stuff to the equator and hope that we have a high enough population that a certain percentage would be able to be devoted to maintaining it for generations? • @adriennefloreen
      @adriennefloreen 2 роки тому +1

      @@cinemartin3530 The issue is how would we dispose of them? Even if all countries in the world unanimously agreed not to go to war for any reason and maintain peace at all costs and get rid of all weapons of war we'd have to have a place to store all the nuclear stuff that may be radioactive longer than our current society is in existence. The storage place would have to be ice age proof and labeled dangerous in a way future humans with no knowledge of history, a different written language or none at all would understand. That's why scientists have all these crazy ideas like creating a religion that teaches it's a forbidden sacred site because they think that might last longer than recorded history.

    We are not delaying another ice age we are starting one. When more Ice melts away it turns into water. The earth spins at 1040 miles per hour at the equator. When the water is a liquid, because of the spin it moves towards the equator. This transfers trillions of tons of ice to water in the oceans at the equator. That presses on the tectonics plates in a different way. The result is an increase in earthquakes and volcanoes. The volcanoes tend to cool the earth down. They put particles in the upper atmosphere and block out the sun light. Note that volcanic eruptions have been on the rise right now. If the Yellow Stone super Volcano has a major eruption the world will have no growing season for about 100 years and most of the USA will be wiped out. The earth will have another ice age. We don't know if Yellow Stone will erupt any time soon, but the calderas have risen many feet and is bulging. We also know other super volcanos and regular volcanos are increasing in activity around the world. We have already engaged the earth's air conditioning and we will be cooling down sometime soon! It is too late to stop it and we might want to dig up as much coal as we can so we can power grow lights for indoor food cultivation in the next ice age.
    P.S. One big meteor strike would do the job too! Almost overnight!

    If Earth were to enter a new ice age, it would have a significant impact on the planet's climate and ecosystems. An ice age is a period of time when the Earth's climate becomes much colder, and glaciers and ice sheets expand to cover a large portion of the planet's surface.
    During an ice age, average temperatures would drop significantly, leading to colder weather in many regions of the world. This would cause a decline in agricultural productivity, making it difficult for humans to grow crops and sustain themselves. The sea level would drop as well as the water is frozen in ice caps and glaciers.
    The change in temperature and precipitation patterns would also cause shifts in the distribution of plant and animal species, leading to the extinction of some species and the emergence of new ones.
    It's important to note that the Earth is currently in an interglacial period, which means that we are in a relatively warm period between ice ages. The current scientific understanding is that the Earth's climate is primarily controlled by factors such as the amount of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere, which can cause warming, not cooling, of the planet.

    Disagree with lot of people on this but at start of this video he says we are delaying an ice age. How can we be delaying an ice age and not speeding it up? The temperature of the planet is governed by the sea. If we are heating the planet up and melting the ice eventually the ice that is on land will melt and cause sea levels to rise and temperatures to drop. Critical desalinization point is scientific name for this when gulf stream changes and whole climate of planet will shift.

      Well the AMOC is already at the tipping point and, thanks to sheep pushing Lithium supplies to their limits by the end of the decade, their is a high possibility that companies begin taking Salt out of the Ocean to turn into batteries which will further drop the salinity of the worlds oceans. So we could accelerate the possibility of an Ice age even further.
