Just now found your podcast for the 1st time. I have also, recently found another very similar podcast called, "Get Sleepy". Questions suggestion for maybe your next Q&A rambling and a bit of advice, too: Rather than continuing to take a chance of getting a copyright strike for reading copyrighted material why don't you do something similar to "Get Sleepy's" channel and use material and read stories that are completely of your, own creation. That way you don't have to worry about your channel getting, 'dinged'.
Separate question / suggestion for your next Q & A: Were you beginning to notice more people wanting this type of material during The Pandemic rather, than more of your gaming material, instead? In other words did you find that your audiences desire for gaming decreased doing The Pandemic or, did it increase? On the flip side did you notice that more people needed or wanted sleep inducement listening, material more during The Pandemic?
It’s disheartening to learn that due to past, hurtful experiences which left you feeling abandoned and lost, you no longer allow yourself to fully embrace our acclamations these days. But I understand where you’re coming from, and I’m really glad you’ve found a way to ignore the negative while still catching the positive in this. Anyway, thank you for being so open with this Q&A, it has satiated my many curiosities. 😊
I love your reading of The Velveteen Rabbit. Any nursery stories like that are my favorites. Im sure others like Twilight and other more "adult" themed stories, but I really prefer the kid stoires. As long as you keep doing some of each, im happy. 😊. I'm probably one of your older listeners, being in my 60s.
I appreciate that you explained why there are only a few episodes of each book and that it's on purpose. I came from the gaming channel and love your voice, it's so soothing and calm, so I went to listen to The Secret Garden and was disappointed that it hadn't all been recorded. When I listen to an audiobook, it's not to fall asleep to but because I suffer from terrible chronic fatigue (probably long covid) and sometimes I am so ill I have to keep my eyes closed and the most I can do is listen to things until I eventually feel better. So in those cases I definitely want to listen to the whole book, not just a few chapters. But after you explained it, it made sense to me why it wouldn't matter to people whether the whole thing has been recorded, if they fall asleep halfway through anyway. My personal preference is to have less different books recorded, in favor of recording the entirety of them. But don't let that make you feel pressured or anything, it's your channel to do with what you prefer and it's evident that it's helpful for a ton of people!

My dad used to read to my siblings and I every night before bed- no one reads like he does and his is probably my favorite voice in the world. Living far away from my family now, your voice has been very comforting and helpful for me; you have a different tone and timbre but provide a similar level of familiarity. I love walking. I walk 4 miles a day. I bike almost every day. I consider them hobbies because I love them so much. I agree that it definitely keeps me sain. Clears the mind. It’s wonderful. Last year, I remember the first ever story that I listened from this channel was Caroline. I loved it so much and your voice has this impact on me of like a mother caressing her daughters hair while the little one tries to sleep. I myself have trouble trying to sleep since of daily stress and school stuff, so I listen to bedtime stories despite my age and stuff. I find it easy to relax while waiting to finally rest while listening to your smooth and calming voice. I figured that you sir, are such a sweet person as well as I listened to this. I smiled so many times while listening, and I love the fact that you have two cats.i have one too. I always found people who loves animals to be the nicest people that exist in this world. Not being able to relax enough to get to sleep was getting so bad for me until I found Twilight and your amazing voice. I did sleep to train sounds but awake with headache. I must admit I did sleep to The wizard of Oz but then awoke to words I didn’t recognise 🤭😳. So that was a stay awake book. I can’t thank you enough, I can sleep so easily and for many hours. I guessed 28 … I’m coming up to 60 in April. You’re an amazing young person 🤗. I am sorry I am going to sleep so I will re listen to this during the day. Thanks again x

Such a help to me to be able to doze off through the pain caused by my disability. I sleep so much better having discovered your channel. This past year my teen son struggled with a newly diagnosed mental illness. There were suicide attempts, month long hospitalizations, and some of the deepest lows of our lives. He’s doing much better now, thanks to some amazing mental health professionals and medications. But during that dark time, we discovered this channel. There were so many nights that my son and I just lay on his bed at the Ronald McDonald House, hours away from our home, holding hands in the dark and listening to “Wind in the Willows.” Clinging to that story and those characters and this voice as if our lives depended on it. The part where Mole says, “ Best go ahead and dance your jig around that…” was the first time I’d heard my son laugh in weeks. It was like the sun coming out. That story and this voice became our anchor during that time.

I stumbled across your content last year sometime, and I am very glad that I did. I just have trouble in general sleeping, and many a nights I have had you read me to sleep and it works every time. Honestly, sometimes I try to fight the sleep because your voice is very soothing and lovely to listen to, but most nights I give in and just go to sleep. I'm so very glad people told you to read books, because I have heard others, but none of them compare to you. As far as I'm concerned you're the only one I want to listen to. Hey Morph! I just wanna say, discovering your channel is the best moment I've ever had. I always fell asleep when I listen to my family talking until midnight. But it was kinda hard for me to find the similar ambience on the internet since a lot of them are whispering (kinda triggers my misophonia). I did find a few but they don't make them anymore with the voice that I prefer. But after a bit of scrolling, there you wereee~ the savior of my restless night. I don't think I have to describe my admiration for your voice, because everybody here already did it perfectly. Also, the addition of the rain sound is such a chef's kiss. And they are hours and hours and hours long, so I don't have to worry about finishing the video before falling asleep. Thank you Morph for existing! Agree - re: age. Im the same age, but feel so young cos I have no kids and therefore no *real* responsibility. Lots of hobbies, lots of time after work. I don't want to grow up, I like being a permanent kid with widsom. Best of both things. Perhaps growing up scares me😂
When I saw that face reveal on the MadMorph Q&A, I immediately went to show it to my partner because I thought it was so funny that you hemmed and hawed so much about showing your face and then you're drop dead gorgeous :D Unrelatedly, I can't imagine the kind of drive it takes to stick with uploading and streaming regularly for 7ish years until you take off and can make a regular living off of it, never even knowing whether it's going to happen. I don't understand how people can continue working this hard, uploading regularly, not get disheartened or depressed and stop. Really glad you stuck it out and it seems like you're doing ok. I must admit I did sleep to The wizard of Oz but then awoke to words I didn’t recognise 🤭😳. So that was a stay awake book.

I listen to your stories every night to help with insomnia and I find it very soothing, especially with the rain sounds. I just love when you say, "lets tuck you in" and get disappointed if it is not in your podcast story. Silly, I know. Your voice soothes me and while I am dealing with deep grief over the unexpected death of my adult son, you will never know how much this means to me.

This past year my teen son struggled with a newly diagnosed mental illness. There were suicide attempts, month long hospitalizations, and some of the deepest lows of our lives. He’s doing much better now, thanks to some amazing mental health professionals and medications. But during that dark time, we discovered this channel. There were so many nights that my son and I just lay on his bed at the Ronald McDonald House, hours away from our home, holding hands in the dark and listening to “Wind in the Willows.” Clinging to that story and those characters and this voice as if our lives depended on it. The part where Mole says, “ Best go ahead and dance your jig around that…” was the first time I’d heard my son laugh in weeks. It was like the sun coming out. That story and this voice became our anchor during that time.

I stumbled across your content last year sometime, and I am very glad that I did. I just have trouble in general sleeping, and many a nights I have had you read me to sleep and it works every time. Honestly, sometimes I try to fight the sleep because your voice is very soothing and lovely to listen to, but most nights I give in and just go to sleep. I'm so very glad people told you to read books, because I have heard others, but none of them compare to you. As far as I'm concerned you're the only one I want to listen to. This was a nice get to know you, glad you did it.

Hey Morph! I just wanna say, discovering your channel is the best moment I've ever had.
I always fell asleep when I listen to my family talking until midnight. But it was kinda hard for me to find the similar ambience on the internet since a lot of them are whispering (kinda triggers my misophonia).
I did find a few but they don't make them anymore with the voice that I prefer. But after a bit of scrolling, there you wereee~ the savior of my restless night.
I don't think I have to describe my admiration for your voice, because everybody here already did it perfectly.
Also, the addition of the rain sound is such a chef's kiss. And they are hours and hours and hours long, so I don't have to worry about finishing the video before falling asleep.

Agree - re: age. Im the same age, but feel so young cos I have no kids and therefore no *real* responsibility. Lots of hobbies, lots of time after work. I don't want to grow up, I like being a permanent kid with widsom. Best of both things. Perhaps growing up scares me😂

Unrelatedly, I can't imagine the kind of drive it takes to stick with uploading and streaming regularly for 7ish years until you take off and can make a regular living off of it, never even knowing whether it's going to happen. I don't understand how people can continue working this hard, uploading regularly, not get disheartened or depressed and stop. Really glad you stuck it out and it seems like you're doing ok. If you ever end up making a ton of money from it, you deserve every cent.
