Not sure if you meant it that way or if it's just how it hit me. Past wrongs causing depression and isolation, going to the apothecary for relief, and finally reconciliation. There is a clique of coworkers at the restaurant where I cook at; they hang out and drink together after work. It’s annoying their close comfort encourages bad behavior and bad habits between them in the work environment. Most of us are in our early to late 30's, and it gets out of hand when the chef is not in for the day. It reminds me of ESL high school class when there is a substitute. teacher.
😅 to be honest I didnt intend their dynamic that way!! I wanted to write them as genuine friends and with Cedric as a mentor figure, but I can definitely see a romance for either of them in the future!! maybe in the Christmas edition 😂👀

When the pie lady promised the protagonist a slice, i felt very very ripped off, like she should have had a whole pie. It was a big narrative payoff when her and cedric get a whole pie each for all their efforts. That whole arc really didnt help my night munchies 😅
😂 i definitely would’ve felt mugged if id only gotten a slice after all that. and i always have a little snack on hand when writing, so maybe why so many of the stories have food in them 😅 thanks for watching 🫶🏻
