The Chemistry🔥, the acting🔥, the writing(most of the time) 👌🏾...definitely a project that deserves more attention and life outside the shadow of the Jolie-Pitt movie...plus peppered with those guest stars 💥💥...i hope it gets a 2nd season.
You guys hit the nail on the head all the way! Writing excellent, chemistry excellent, cinematography wonderful. I think Phoebe dropping out and Erskine signing on was a homerun

Damn, I didn't even consider the show could be an anthology. Honestly, I'll be crushed if we don't continue on with this pair as the main Mr. & Mrs. Smith
There’s no way they’d make this an anthology. To spend the entire season getting the audience to buy in and invest in Glover and Erskine being Mr and Mrs Smith. Only to say ok folks next season it’s two new people who have to go through this process again. In the immortal words of Mr Randy Jackson, “ that’s a no for me dawg” they better bring Glover and Erskine back If they got some sense.

@@moviesaredope that’s a very fair point. I do know through watching tons of interviews from Francesca Sloan the co creator she said they already have plans for a season 2, as far as how they want it to look. She did mention that one thing they’d do is a 1 year time jump, all of this is dependent on Prime giving the green light. Which I’m not sure what they are waiting on.
@@AT-gu1vr okay, 1 year jump sounds interesting. I guess if season 2 is "fight the company" like the movie ended, that can streamline things so we don't waste a whole seasons with the "running & preparing" like we got a hint of with Eiza & Alexander's Smiths
@@moviesaredopesome season 2 ideas I think would be dope. -The rival company that Bev worked for reaches out to the Smiths to work for them while dodging their old company. -The company realizes John and Jane are formidable and decides to offer a truce in exchange for them to complete some even more dangerous missions. - -John and Jane try to lay low in a small town and have to navigate normal family life.
Love your thoughts and opinions. Their chemistry is such a HUGE reason why this show works as well as it does. You two really nailed so much of what I thought it by and felt.
I really hope there’s a season 2 but I need it with Donald and Maya lol.
