What's funny is that John was supposed to play Dan's part, but he didn't feel comfortable dressing like that on tv. Dan accepted it without him being confident dressing like that either, he really felt vunerable, which ironically is exactly the point of the skit.
Danny A is indeed kinda cute here and the fella could sure rock cutoffs and a tank! Ooh, and the way he walks. This skit kinda popped my cork when I was just a thirteen-year-old slip of a maiden

Lily Tomlin as "Ernestine," a switchboard operator (on the 1960's (Rowan and Martin's) "Laugh-In" variety / sketch comedy show; with Goldie Hawn) was a great character; Tomlin was awesome as "Violet Newstead," an office worker/staff member in "9 to 5 (1980)" with Jane Fonda ("Judy Bernly"; the 80's aerobics workout (home video queen); "Barbarella") and Dolly Parton ("Doralee Rhodes"); their boss, Dabney Coleman Franklin M. "Hey, stud muffin! Want to make bouncy bouncy?" 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
The new “Saturday Night” movie really changed your perspective on this skit
I had to find this after watching the movie lol
Here for background on the upcoming SATURDAY NIGHT movie.
Omg I hope you've seen it! It was so good! Dylan O'Brien looked so much like Dan in this it was crazy!

I just saw the movie. Mar del Plata Film Festival. Argentina. And I came for the same reason. I didn't know the show. Excellent
Same! 😂
Dylan O’Brien gonna kill this role
just saw it and specifically looked for this sketch and can confirm he did kill it 😏🥰
Was great
He did
Yep.
He did
Thank you snl for the original not ready for prime time players plus a young lily tomlin

Dan Aykroyd in daisy dukes!I'm ogling 👀
