My hedgie hurt his feet two weeks ago. Hes much better, but he has a callus on his back foot. Any tips besides foot soaks?
+Party Sloths You can rub coconut oil or Vaseline on it to soften it up :)
I am pretty poor and on a low budget, I have decided that I want a hedgehog I am going to use a big clear bin as its cage with a open top. Would this be okay for a african pygmy? I am also considering cutting a hole which i will later sand down and having a playpen out there so I can block the playpen access while I'm out during the day would these 2 combonations be good for a hedgehog or should I cut small holes as ventilation and keep the lid on or would a open roof be okay?
+Bataunia Anderson That would be okay, though I would advice against getting a hedgehog if you have a low budget. Hedgehogs are exotic pets and can be very expensive. Especially their vet care, which they do need. Maybe look into hamsters or something a bit more budget friendly.
PugPibbleHedgie Dont worry I'm only on a currently low budget due to having to pay for my dogs needles in about a week or so but if something were to happen I would probably just get by I've sold things I dont need for money anyway.
Bataunia Anderson Please dont get a hedhe hog. they need a lot of care and You will need to have a set fund for them. If you know you might have to sell stuff to support them don't do it cause its going to put the in a bad housing situation.
