What a beautiful team new Zealand was in this 1992world cup., won the hearts of cricket lovers from the first game against Australia., in India time for live telecast for matches in new Zealand was around 2.00a.m., getting up early in the morning and attending office duty was becoming very tiring business but cricket lovers enjoyed it very much., while watching this match against England I had decided not to attend office duty but andru Jones and martin crowe had some other plans in their mind both of them chased the target in hurry and my father warned me to attend my office duty. 😀😃
A fair chunk of this match got shown in Australia too. Channel 9 who were telecasting the South Africa vs India match in Adelaide took the telecast during the 3 hour rain delay
@@pixeltees For all of the problems and worries that the young guns were...'Jed' wasn't one of them. He was almost more reliable than Crowe was for a period just before he retired. The Aussie press slated him in '87 after his first test there because of his jumping defensive technique. Then he scored a big hundred the next test. He had a great career and wouldn't be out of place in an all-time best NZ XI...
@@lamaiwarju6197 I was really sad those days when NZ faltered at the penultimate hurdle. Being a 10 year old and watch my first world cup was a constant supporter of NZ till the 1996 world cup final.
Pure gold, Best world cup ever played.

@@Levin-ey1bu Yep, he would have been my number 3 in my all-time best NZ XI until Williamson came along.
@@Levin-ey1bu He was also on the way to a big test score at the MCG in 1987 as well until Dyer stooged him.

Nice
When Aussies had Dean Kiwies had Andrew.
Andrew Jones was mister consistant. a very under rated player who lived in the shadow of Crowe. He has always been my fav NZ player.
