Fun fact about this film, it was supposed to be the series finale as it was about to be canceled. The movie was so popular that they continued the series tovthis day.

George Clooney has the weirdest bit cameos in Southpark. I couldn't believe it when I found out he was the voice of Stan's dog from the 1st season.
Supposedly he's a big part of why South Park even became a thing. He copied the original Spirit of Christmas and sent it around Hollywood.

Same bro I remember being a little kid and seeing the premiere night episode of South Park and then that was all she wrote it was my bedtime cartoon forever after that. Me being a stupid kid not knowing what anything was I actually asked my grandma what a dildo was because of the first episode she got so mad at me my parents she even sent the letter to comedy Central it was great.
Dang, it would have been so cool to get this on VHS back in the day. I'm pretty sure I first saw it via a crappy 240p youtube upload haha. That, or through a mail-order Netflix DVD!
This movie changed what was acceptable on television by challenging it openly. Swearing was so taboo at the time that they used to censor rap albums. I'm not going to say that South Park is singlehandedly responsible for making swearing acceptable, but they definitely contributed.
This movie holds the record for most swearing in an animated movie at 399. Had it been 400 or more, the movie would have been rating NC-17 period.

My parents are cool and took me to see this movie when I was only 10 lol. I remember there actually were people leaving the theater during the “Uncle Fucker” song! 😂
i saw it when it came out with my mom and brother. i was 13. there were little bit of epople in that theatre. one young couple and an old couple they were all laughing. my mom didnt care for the language but more of the dick scene with sadam hussein and satan lol

The whole war got started all because the boys saw an r rated movie and got in trouble in school. The song Blame Canada was really a song about scapegoating because throughout the whole movie, it was really the parents' fault at the end for not dealing with their kids. The film is also about bad parenting. At the beginning, Stan asks Sharon (Stan's mom) money to see a movie, Sharon didn't check what movie they were going to see. Kyle lied to his mom where they were going that day.
Especially when the last verses of the song was-
"We must blame them and cause a fuss
Before someone thinks of blaming us!"
It's the usual 'I can't let other people know that I made mistakes as a parent so I have to blame it on someone/something else' Just like the DnD hysteria in the 80's.

All this could have been avoided if the parents had just deal with their kids' bad behavior and all they had to do was sat their kids down and teach them that cussing was bad and simply punish them. This problem would have been solve in a matter of minutes.
But in South Park, a simple problem, they turn it into a disaster.
Killing terrance and phillip showed how terrible the parents are and they didn't really solve the problem.

Apparently Matt and Trey thought it was over for South Park during the planning for this movie so they made it a musical since they’re huge musical fans and always wanted to do a South Park musical. Also the MPAA kept giving the movie an NC-17 rating and Matt and Trey had to send 6 different drafts through before they finally got an R rating.

13:04 salt will stop most fires.
Fires occur on the surface area needing to pull in oxygen and burn. (Stop drop roll/ throw a lid on it is all disrupting the surface area or disrupting the oxygen intake)
Disrupting the surface area will snuff out the fire at the spots where it was disrupted.
Salt or sand is very fine particles that will coat the surface and need to be burned through but they have a high melting temperature so regular say wood fires can never get hot enough to burn through sand (unless it’s a kiln)
Oil or grease fires can immediately be put out by salt being thrown in altho it may splash some hot oil around the surface are is not salt/oil and not all smooth surface oil.
The salt will sting his burn wounds. You know "salt in the wound". That's it.

Salt really doesn't do anything to fire but the fact that it is granulated and so much of it would smother out the fire depriving it of oxygen

The thing about songs is that they were ripping off on Disney movies, you know how they used to have a whole lot of songs in those.
I love the "Kyle's Mom" song Cartman sings. It makes me laugh so hard every time and it's catchy af, and her being right behind him at the very end and the way she's looking at him is hysterical.
A friend of mine went to see this movie in the theater and he was running a little late. He walked in just as "Uncle Fucker" started up and watched a crowded theater full of parents with their kids get up and walk out and he had the whole place pretty much to himself after that. All of those parents probably thought "cartoon movie, must be for kids" and didn't research it. Hilarious.
I took my mother to see this movie with me when I was 12.
I told her it was a kids' movie.
She changed her mind five minutes in.
This is 100% a musical, but like with all musicals, they didn’t advertise it because ppl generall HATE musicals. Easily the greatest musical of all time 😂

I'd highly recommend little shop of horrors. It's a horror comedy from 86 that has a flower shop employee trying to care for a blood thirsty plant. This movie is the pinnacle of practical effects and animatronics that will never be seen again

A burn is basically an open wound but rather than being focused in a cut that can be closed, it just all over your skin where ever is burned. Your body reacts to this by flushing these areas with a protective film that is largely made of water. A large concern from large burns is that the patient will dehydrate to dangerous levels. And then salt is super hydrophilic (absorbs water). So if you were to be covered 100% in 3rd+ degree burns, and then cover that body in salt, then you'd create a chain reaction where any liquid on the surface of skin is absorbed by the salt. To protect the burns, the body would just keep dumping protective film on itself, and there'd be no way to re-hydrate the body fast enough to recover.
So long story short; this is a weird niche death, but completely plausible.
