Family Guy is lazy when it comes to depicting black people (they literally only use one shade of brown all the time, yet Quagmire, Joe & Peter are all different shades of white), whereas South Park depicts black people of all walks of life. Tolkien (lol) and his family are the richest people in town, crips and bloods coming together and so many more examples. Not to mention they actually have more of a colour palette range when animating us😂.
The way they had Chris say "Youll never stop me Hack-Man!!!" Like Gene Hackman is some sort of superhero and hes "Hack-Man" lol

I'll say this, as a nigga living in Denver, who grew up in the south (Texas)... Denver is THE fakes place in all of America, and it's because of a lack connection to the rest of reality. Colorado people live in their own bubble, unaffected by the world around them or it's problems. There's a REAL disconnect because what makes sense and makes sense for THEM. Colorado doesn't have real hoods... it just has impoverished areas where people might not make as much money as their neighbors. Not a TERRIBLE place to live, but you'll find the people to be overbearing and out of touch with reality more times than not.

You joke about it, but there may be something to the whole genetic tolerance to cold or heat thing. My ancestors are all from colder climates than here in Houston, and despite living here my entire life I still adjust to the cold a lot better than I adjust to the heat. And I mean, hot to me is anything above 80F.
As far as the hood not being that dirty and dingy, that depends on the specific hood. Like, I grew up in Alief, in Southwest Houston, which kind of has a reputation for being the hood, and you'd be right about that area. But then you go somewhere like Third Ward or Fourth Ward and shit really is that dirty and fucked up. And these are all areas in Houston, just different degrees of ghetto in one city.
That was one wild episode about The Crips and The Bloods.
