Good info here! How are you switching between forward and down modes without moving the transducer position on the pole? I use auto orientation and click my ducer to forward or click it down for down mode
@@Tony_Cass_ In order for the Forward and Down to work properly you do have to rotate the transducer when switching between them. If you don't and change it only in the menu, the unit will do the best it can, but it will be substandard performance. At least that's what I've been told.
@@ginocozijns3075 you are correct, the beam angle must be changed by manually rotating the transducer “flat” for down view or “tipped” for forward view. The setting in the unit cannot do this for you.

U don’t have to move your ducer when going in between down and forward modes

@@kencartter305 lvs34 needs to be manually clicked also for down mode
