I'm still satisfied with my SL Titan but saw the video pop up and thought I'd check it out, I agree size is one of the biggest factors in finding a comfortable chair that will support you properly, and I also find myself immediately saying that gaming chair is just a label to sell it to an audience, the chair is still a chair that has been designed for long hours of use.
I appreciate the review. I have a respawn recliner and was considering switching to mesh, so I thought their chair would be a good buy. This helped me avoid the issues that I would have run into.
My first gaming chair was the respawn 110 and it started falling apart in about 3 months and became basically unusable in about 8 months. I ended up purchasing some questionable chinese ergo chair on sale from $399 down to $99. It's definitely not a $400 chair but is leaps and bounds above the respawn 110, at least for me. Edit: im currently on month 5 of this chair and so far is as good as new.
I own a RESPAWN rsp110 and it's too wide and deep for me to sit comfortably. It was to replace the smaller mesh office chair I sit in thats not supportive of my back. I hate the scratchy feeling of the mesh so I have to keep a cover over it if I'm wearing shorts. I think the ERGO might be too expensive at it's current price.
I’ve been on the search for a new gaming chair. I came across this chair online, and I wanted to see your review, thank you for yours. I do have a question on how you feel about mesh stretching overtime? I am 240 lbs and I like the design of the chair but I’m afraid the seat mesh will stretch over time and that is a concern for me. Thoughts? FYI: I’ve had stereotypical gaming chairs and I love my SL Titan that i use a purple branded cushion with; just trying to step out into the mesh market but self conscience of my size.
10:55 I don't fully understand your description here about the bottom of the seat staying stationary and cannot move as it looks like the seat is moving up, under the hamstrings while the rear is dropping, when you reclined/tilted backwards....maybe just at different amounts? Regardless, solid review.
It’s hard to see and I can understand how it’d be confusing. Look at my knees, and notice that they do not rise as I recline. In other chairs, the tilt is happening under the base of the chair so the seat reclines too. In this chair, the tilt is happening where the back meets the seat. There may be some movement, but it’s not reclining the entire chair as a whole. Does this make sense?
Nah, the Staples Dexley is different. It’s a one piece design with a different back frame. But it is similar in shape. It is much closer to the Nohaus chair, as someone recently suggested. Or the Mavix line of chairs. People criticize gaming chairs for being similar, or rebranded chairs from the same manufacturer, but office style chairs do this as well.
I've got a mesh Herman Miller knock-off that I love, but it has no headrest which I really want. This one looked like a great option but I'm not sure that headrest will give me the support I want as I lean back
I’m not familiar with the company so I looked them up. For $200 a chair should at the very least have adjustable arm rests. That one does not. That’s a big yikes from me right off the rip.
Why does this chair look exactly like the expensive cougar argo black gaming chair I bought? the only difference between your chair and my chair is that my chair have the lumbar support with leather instead of mesh.
Nice presentation and info, been looking for a proper chair for sometime now ... thanks to your info I am going to skip this one. But I did notice that you have multiple monitors, and I've been looking for a good (Two Monitor) stand. Like chairs this is another item that requires a great deal of research. It's hard to tell who makes what, what is good, and with prices all over the place, you're left knowing less than when you started. Wondering what you use and are you happy with it?
@@FracnoTV Already done. And it's not a hot feeling in my chest, it's a tingly feeling in my pants 🤣🤣🤣🤣 P.S. That sounds horrible but funny as hell in my head lmao
Just found this video and channel as it passed over my twitter feed. Really nice work on describing the issues you have with it. It appears we have the same problems with chairs and comfort. No one else goes into as much detail in their chair reviews as you have, it is highly appreciated. I bought a gaming chair from Office Depot because it was available and I could actually test it. For what it is, it’s decent but seems to be almost too wide, the armrests are a touch to far apart even when adjusted in the farthest. Guess I’m still on the hunt for a really comfortable affordable chair. Great work, you got my sub and my interest in the Chirp wheel.
Thanks for this well thought out comment. I sometimes fear I go too deep into the weeds in my reviews but I’m happy to see a kindred spirit that prefers information despite the longer video length.
@@FracnoTV I would much rather prefer real information and opinion rather than just regurgitation of the selling points on a website. Some reviews will kinda touch on the bad things, but not so much as to get on the bad side of PR departments.

I dont give a shit about ergonomics I have horrendous posture, my spine is probably bent all kinda fuckin ways by now so I just want a comfy gaming chair lol
I'm 6foot1 and 225 pounds. I'm a big guy who is bodybuilding. So I'm only gonna get bigger. Is this chair a good investment for someone my size. Who will sit in it for 6 hours a day for cyber-school and gaming.
Franco That chair looks like a copy of the mavix chair and the mavix is only 100 dollars do you think I should invest more for the batter build quality and comfort.

Phenomenal review I nearly pulled the trigger on this but the wide hips thing got me. Thank you for going into excessive detail unlike most.

Be cool to see a comparison between this and say the staples hyken chair. Both similar and way different price points.

The only 'Logo' on the Front of chair you mean? As there is one on the back of the chair also.
Yea after editing the video, I noticed the hard to see logo on the back, haha.
Very similar to the Sihoo ergonomic chair I bought on Amazon for the half price of this one. As if they came out of the same factory in China
Lol they probably did. A lot of these companies rebrand the chairs and hike up the price.
solid video. subscribing now.
