Always a favorite video of mine. She looks like my kind of champ. Not sure any more than IM or CapSam both of whom I’ve already invested in and floating champs aren’t always good for my timing but I’ll definitely be testing her out. Thanks for making these.
As a player who just came back to the game after setting it down for a few years this is so needed. I appreciate you taking the time to throughly discuss Ironheart's kit.
Flat ability accuracy modifications come after other modifications, so his effects would still have a 50% chance to get through her block, I'm fairly sure. But it'd help.
'Hard Counter' was certainly a strong word and that's not fair. She has a lot of counter-play for cosmic's without Armour Break access is a better way to put it. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing, I've said before I like the counter-play mechanics being introduced. Shake the wheel up slightly, change the pace of what makes champions tick. Helps the game evolve. For (current) Gladiator though, yeah I see her countering his efficiency in a number of ways: her DoT immunity, him having no access to armour breaks, bulwark to help against him hitting into blocks, the physical vulnerability cutting through his Confidence gains, Lowering opponent AA when hitting into block - if I understand this right does this not shut down his Unblockable when super confident? Will he do fine? Probably, he's certainly not the best Cosmic to use against her, lol. Can't wait until she's released to confirm my suspicions: that the team has done a great job.
It seems like she was made as a direct counter for Onslaught? OAR should shutdown his neuroshocks through block so you can block both his sp1 & sp2 (also countering reverse controls)?
I wouldn't call her a hard counter, but she certainly helps. The neuroshocks through block have an extra flat chance, so they'll still get through sometimes (I'd have to test to confirm), and she's metal so she can't shake those or the ones from crits, but she'll still mitigate his threats decently well, yeah
@Daddylonglegs93 Okay. That makes sense. Let us know once you've had the chance to test her against Onslaught. I'm very curious to see how she'll do. Thanks DLL.
Kinda surprised she got rupture instead of plasma. Not complaining in the slightest just thought a tech with selectable damage types would have got plasma instead lol. Other than that, I am really excited for her, and I am really excited for Dusts deep dive and your videos explaining it with contexts.
But at that point what's the purpose of plasma? It doesn't actually have benefits beyond ignoring incinerate resistance, and she already has the option of rupture to fill that need. It would give her a bit more power specifically against an opponent with incinerate immunity and physical resistance at the same time, but you'd also lose the relic benefits. I think this was the correct choice of two debuffs for her.
Thx for the relic section. 🤜🤛

Of course! Glad to hear
She looks like a modern Omega Sentinel + Scorpion combo
Definitely some commonality yeah
Both of the new champions look insane i am surprised we got two insane attackers this time
Why?
@@Daddylonglegs93 everytime it's like a defender and an attacker it's different this time we got both attackers
I don't think that's at all accurate over the last year, but I'm glad they're looking good to you
dust animations and damage are simply top notch@@Daddylonglegs93
Quick question, Where did you get the initial PNG Of Ironheart in the beginning of the video?
Those are made available to the CCP for making content alongside the spotlights.

Does the Target lock shut down onslaughts magnetism/neuroshocks from L1 or is he AAR protected?
Love these breakdown videos btw, best part of new releases 😂

@@Daddylonglegs93 thank you
She counters (current) Gladiator pretty hard. Sad face.
She seems pretty versatile. As always, thanks for the insights.
How so? The DoTs? I don't imagine he'd have much trouble with her

Yeah she won't shut down basically anything of his beyond the DoTs. She's not really a defender, so I wouldn't worry about it in general

Just got a 6 star from the prime gaming crystal 😮
So came here…. I always do for new champs
Congrats!

Plasma instead of Incinerate. Rupture shows her clever ingenuity to be physical bypass, whereas Plasma/Incinerate are BOTH energy-based burst damage.
@@indatube I know they are both energy-based, but there is no one immune to plasma and plasma is usually the incinerate substitute for tech champions.
@@blackhole5353. yes but my suggestion is better than incinerate or plasma options with no rupture
