If people were allegedly murdered in that corn maze, I’m not going there in the first place. If I did end up there though the second I realized it’s a life or death situation I’m picking one direction and running in that direction only, I’ll get out eventually.
There's a "haunted acres" property event pretty close to where I live each year. When you go there, you pay like $30-40 for 2 hours and there are one to two dozen "monsters" on site in this property which has a mixture of woods and fields. Then, there are a couple groups of participants that are all looking for some items to take and bring back to the entrance. The participants are then given paintball guns and each group is dropped over in a different area. If you shoot one of the "monsters" then they go down for like 15 seconds so you can get away. If the monster catches you, they take off a flag thing from you and you're out of the game and have to go back to the front. It's like a zombie shoot with a kind of capture the flag game. The first group to get the item(s) back to the start point gets a prize and gets the cost of the event refunded. It's a really awesome idea but they usually sell out of tickets within a few days of introduction. If I remember correctly, there's another place nearby where they pretty much just let participants use paintball guns to mow down wave after wave of "zombies" in a harvested cornfield too. There's not really any goal or point to it other than getting to shoot the shit out of a bunch of armored people dressed as zombies with paintball guns lol. These things pop up every year in late September through Halloween and are a ton of fun. This movie reminded me of that when they had the people firing paintball guns at "monsters" on the back of that truck.
It pisses me off that from the get-go, they were warned by someone that “Hey, don’t go to this corn maze. People died there. If you go, you’re next.” And they’re just like “Well, that warning can’t stop me! I can’t read!”
well to be fair, life is full of that stuff. When I was a kid I was told if I say bloody mary in a dark bathroom 3 times towards the mirror I would be killed by her. Public corn maze that hundreds to thousands of people go to in a given day, of course people will laugh off any warnings

Exactly. And not four teenagers. But many people had gone missing apparently over fifteen years. After the first death and skin being found fifteen years prior. Police would have shut the maze down and done a full search for the killers. And lets say the police cannot find them and gives up letting it reopen the next year. But again, more people die. The police would then have the maze permanently shut down and be investigating every local who was near or at the maze.

What on earth is even happening?! Wasn’t he the person who was terrified of going there in the first place? Him finding out the site was indeed a murder ground should have him freaking the f out.
Aside from the obvious solution the way to get out would be to just go straight through the corn before it got dark and the killers came out. The field has to end somewhere.
Living in Hollywood I have learned to always carry 2 cells, a prepaid one (with prepaid minutes always on it) and the one I use. Many places over here request to hand over cell. I give them the older one and keep my new one. I dont trust anyone with my phone. Plus great for an emergency.

These videos make me way too paranoid. Now I'll never be able to do events like these. I did an escape room before where they request you put your phones into a lock box until you are done and I agreed but after this I won't be doing that anymore. I'll end up either lying and say I didn't bring my phone cuz I was too worried about it being stolen or I'd tell them that keeping it is a deal breaker and that I will keep it on me but won't take it out unless there is an emergency. Also there are some haunted attractions or whatever that will actually pay you if you can complete them. I can't remember the name but there was 1 that gives out quite a bit but it's something like 24 hours long and they can do pretty much anything they want to you to try and break you and make you quit. So that's another thing I will never be trying now.
@@sleepy_pommie yea I can't recall the name either but I heard the same thing, so I likely wouldn't have attempted it anyways cuz I might freak I'd the bury me alive or something. They have people sign waivers saying they aren't responsible for any injuries, not that that gives them free reign to kill you I'm sure but it might keep them safe in most cases. You are told they can do anything they want from the start so if you can't handle literally being tortured then you shouldn't go in the first place. Because they are very determined to not have to pay out the survival reward
Hey, I work at an escape room, no worries about the phone thing! People ask us all the time if they are allowed to have their phones on them, and although we encourage people to leave them behind, legally we can't actually force people to leave them with us. We don't really worry about it too much since we are watching the rooms on cameras, so if someone is breaking the rules by using their phones, we can quickly pop in over the walkie talkie and politely tell them to cut that shit out. If they continue to use it, we simply remove that person from the room rather than take their phone away. But then again, our waiver does cover all liability up to and including death, soooo 🤷🏼♀️ Lol
@@8youbetterbelieveit8 yea I figured that was the case, the ones I did we were constantly monitored so I didn't think most places would make a big deal out of it but in this movie they asked that they leave their phones and they willingly handed them over because there are all kinds of like games or whatever that do that so most wouldn't bat an eye about handing over their devices, it's just kind of expected... Until you watch something like this and then you'll be too paranoid to do anything ever. But I thought waivers protected the host from most typical injuries and accidents but I seriously doubt if you had someone sign a waiver that says you can merc them I doubt that would hold up in court. But I'm no lawyer so I really know nothing. Like I would be a bit annoyed if I did that 24 hour thing and I somehow managed to make it nearly the whole time just to catch a chainsaw to the abdomen and "lose" because I'm no longer alive to complete the challenge.
I believe you are taking about McKamey manor, that haunted literally tortures people and you have to sign a waiver that doesn't allow you to sue them for said torture.
no way they didn't suspected that for some reason they got chosen to go to a ''special maze'' out of nowhere, far away from the other maze and the guy offered them money when they wanted to leave
Maybe this is why I tend to spot things when they move, such as mice in tall grass or birds in tree branches. I've been practicing Owl Eyes without knowing it for years, thanks to working in places where I have to be quickly aware of people around me so that I don't crash into someone, or have someone come around a corner and crash into me. Unless I have something specific that I'm looking at, like a building I'm headed too, I usually keep my visual awareness wide and keep my periphral vision in mind at all times. I'm so used to doing it anymore that I don't even need to think about it.

I thought it was stupid for the guy to make jokes after his arm was cut off while the murderer was a few feet away, until I thought more about it. The guy just had his arm chopped off and was experiencing rapid blood loss. When you experience rapid blood loss like the guy did, then you aren't going to be able to think very clearly. It makes sense that the guy was making jokes as he was beginning to pass out and die from the blood loss.

The fact that it only takes just 1 person whose parents/friends know that they'll be going to the corn maze for their modus to end is a pretty big plothole.
"It's a smart idea" not a line i've heard on this channel yet lol. Usually I hear multiple times per episode, "and that was their biggest mistake". And I love all of it! Cheers to seeing movies I haven't heard of and consuming them in 30minutes.
It’s been so long since I’ve seen a movie where all the protagonists were dead by the end and yes I know that the last girl didn’t actually die on screen but we all know that she ain’t gonna walk away from all of that.
Three things bother me so much in movies that I won't watch movies that do them, and this certainly does the last one: 1) Easily avoidable/fixable "misunderstandings" that drive the plot or a major plot point 2) Characters who are written like the audience is with/watching them, almost always in an attempt to "fool" the audience (e.g. a totally sane character having a voice-over inner monologue about who the killer might be, when they're actually the "twist" killer). 3) Characters who are supposed to be _genuinely_ scared "investigating" the frightening/dangerous thing. In real life, you only pull back the shower curtain because your head is confident no one is there, and you want your nervous system to agree.
It was hilarious when he started it and said this college guy is going to get the flesh carved out of him then proceeds to talk about how he is getting turned on texting his girlfriend on an android
How does one have the "highest amount" of a gene? And for that matter, why does being muscular make you slower and more easily fatigued? I'd think it was the reverse.
It's a bit more complex than just 'more muscle = less endurance', but yeah, excessive muscle can make you fatigued more easily (muscles require lots of blood and oxygen, which strains your heart and lungs). However, chances are that working in a farm like that focused more on endurance than pure strength, so he's not likely to be easily fatigued.

How would the killers working at the cornmaze not be found out if it was the last place 4 teenagers were seen?

The 24h horror house is pretty famous but I don’t remember the name. If I remember right it’s really brutal… and some people tried to charge them.
I love your videos. I dont watch full movies because at night i think of them so i watch you talk over so it helps me calm myself. Thanks for making great content for us!

It makes sense that the guy was making jokes as he was beginning to pass out and die from the blood loss.

concealed carry really would have put this movie to a quick end.
Three things bother me so much in movies that I won't watch movies that do them, and this certainly does the last one:
1) Easily avoidable/fixable "misunderstandings" that drive the plot or a major plot point
2) Characters who are written like the audience is with/watching them, almost always in an attempt to "fool" the audience (e.g. a totally sane character having a voice-over inner monologue about who the killer might be, when they're actually the "twist" killer).
3) Characters who are supposed to be _genuinely_ scared "investigating" the frightening/dangerous thing. In real life, you only pull back the shower curtain because your head is confident no one is there, and you want your nervous system to agree.

It's a bit more complex than just 'more muscle = less endurance', but yeah, excessive muscle can make you fatigued more easily (muscles require lots of blood and oxygen, which strains your heart and lungs).
