I have not fished in the UK for many years now and i cant remember seeing beautiful big perch like that, 20cm was what i was happy with. I noticed those huge ones have different markings and some darker 🎣👍
Thanks buddy, for my hardbaits I use a salmo pro light, it's a very good crank rod, 2.7m and 5-20g cast cranks miles and has a good progressive action! Just don't lose fish it
Some cracking perch there young man …. Well done to you and well deserved and you keep them fishy spots to yourself as you will have to put allot of time and effort into sharing these awesome beasts….. absolutely love them fish !!!! Top man !!! 👍🏽😁😎🎣
If you keep all of the spots to yourself, whats the point of posting information about them? Do you think people will come from miles around and sit at this spot all day everyday? What about the 100's of other great spots? I think most of you take the wrong attitude about fishing...too selfish. Just like how most of you are in your lives...its a great reflection of your true personality.
I don't post information about spots, I post information on how to catch big perch, the whole point is giving people the confidence to go out and try the methods I use to find themselves fish locally. There are too many people out there who want to catch a big perch but do not want to put the work in, it's a great lesson in life, and that's most good things require hard work.
That's the main reason I use it, it's very weedless and snag free, unfortunately sometimes they slip between rocks, but in this case I try to go as light as possible
Fantastic fish 😀👍 Would love to know how you go about finding potential swims for big perch on larger rivers. A lot of work must go into it. I fish tiny rivers and brooks mainly, catch lots of small perch but nothing more than a pound or so.
@@luresonly - thanks for the insight, appreciated 👍 At some point I’ll need to stop fishing for quantity and concentrate on quality. Got a few miles of the Trent and Dove to have a crack at.
Great videos mate. Do you tie your wire trace straight to the braid when using topwater or use a mono/flouro leader in-between? Will you be making any new videos this coming river season?
I usually have a flouro also, just because light braids don't hold knots very well, especially 8 strand it's pretty slick against the steel, flouro knots never slip!

Thanks buddy
Sir when will you fishing again ? 😊
🔥🔥🔥 some man for one man
May I ask would the Texas Rig still be the favourite if the river was really rocky and snaggy?
That's the main reason I use it, it's very weedless and snag free, unfortunately sometimes they slip between rocks, but in this case I try to go as light as possible

Yes mate it takes a lot of time and trial and error. I've been fishing the river for the last 3 years often 3-5 times a week!
As for finding your own, structure, slower stretches, rocky shelves, meeting of currents are the usual things I look for

@@luresonlywhat river is it you are fishing mate? Great vid !
awesome, quick question, how important is the twitching movement you're doing on the retrieve?
It's needed mate, to make the lure move side to side you have to work it
Amazing stuff! Those takes must be awesome to see 👍
Yeah it's crazy when there is 5-10 giant perch just smashing the shit out of a surface lure 😂
Incredible stuff🤯
On 🔥🔥🔥 again Adam. 👌👌
