Jigging for Big Perch UK - Red Letter Session - River Lure Fishing

Since i had been doing so well jigging recently, i decided to carry on and keep searching for big river Perch! i had been out all day with little to show for it, until i found a big shoal of big Perch and caught plenty whilst fishing the jig again. It was nice to find that the bigger Perch had started to group together and starting to feed up with the weather turning cold. Jigging is very effec...
Back to basics - Jigging for Big Perch & Zander UK - River Fishing

another great day on the river, lure fishing for good Perch and Zander. In this video i go back to basics and throw a jig head shad for perch and Zander, they are defiantly up for the chase. The fishing was pretty hard as the water is still low, but combing the river with the jig is great way of searching for feeding fish as well as capitalizing on some of the larger fish looking for that bigge...

This video was just a bit of fun, trying to capture these awesome predators, pike and perch, feeding on the surface. This video is pretty action packed and just a compilation of pike and perch hits on the surface. nothing quite beats seeing that wake behind the lure right before they destroy it, I have always wanted to see this a little closer and a little slower so i figured others would want ...

Follow me on insta adam_seeley_lures_only I have been using the Neko Rig a lot recently, the more i use it the more i see it for what it is, and that's a perfect rig in some applications for catching big Perch. the special thing about the Neko rig is just how subtle it is. the Neko rig can be fished into thick vegetation and still have very good hook ups due to the way its rigged,...

I've recently got on the Neko rig and have never caught this many perch before. Our waters are heavily fished, so the perch are switched on - but the Neko gets them everytime! It's so good in so many applications, my new go rig to for guaranteed fun.

Why don’t you place your landing net next to you instead of putting it behind you. Every time you need the landing net, you have to reach back, not being able to concentrate on the fish, make it easy on yourself😉.

When competition fishing I have the net attached to me, when I'm filming I'm often moving spots quickly and I'll take my bag off, it's not a massive issue, I don't tend to lose fish

Watched 2 mins of this video and already know you know what you’re on about much more advanced tips than most U.K. lure lads who still think Texas rigs are brand new 😂 one tip I could give newbies to this style of fishing is to try fishing on calmer days as bite registration and staying tight on the bait is hard when wind is gusting

    • @luresonly

I usually have a flouro also, just because light braids don't hold knots very well, especially 8 strand it's pretty slick against the steel, flouro knots never slip!

    • @luresonly

That's the main reason I use it, it's very weedless and snag free, unfortunately sometimes they slip between rocks, but in this case I try to go as light as possible

They are pretty much everywhere, but they always sit in the same sort of features, deep rocky bottoms, edges of slacks, crease lines between current or behind structure, it's just a game of finding likely looking spots and flogging them to see if their are any around
