Lived in one of the canals you passed by for the past 28 years. Me and my dad built a boat when I was 7 years old and this brought back many memories of exploring the waterways. Thank you for this. Great content, keep it up!
This brings back memories. I went to high school in Okeechobee. I left in '79. Missouri has been my home for a long time now. But I used to love cruising the canals and looking at houses. Usually around lighthouse point. Thanks. I have a small 2021 pontoon. I think I may bring it down for canal exploring sometime.
That’s awesome. I love canal exploring, you get to see so much more of the area. The last time I was in Lauderdal the Bahia Cabana was open. Thanks for the tour
I am old, Flashback to the 50's when I was real young. No seawalls back then. My cousins and I use to paddle in a row boat to where the gators hung out. Snakes were swimming everywhere. Thanks for the ride Alfred another great video.
I am jealous of you sir. You got to experience Florida before all the development. Must have been such a wild place back then!! Miami Dade counties must have been empty.
Alfred, hello,Some of the areas in PLANTATION ISLES,I saw already, while looking at real estate, down towards the canal besides 595, I evenhad a boat lift, , I a really enjoying the trip, CHERIO🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Al's getting ideas to start up "Al's fishing charters" from these boats haha.... chit show fishing! sweet trip through the canal up there. i think i did that once with my uncle through lauderdale when i was little in the 80's lol
I love al green… I love how you did the fast forward with that jam on it i watch you in my living room tv so when the music hit it was bumping hard lol
A lot of people with a lot more money than me. Some of those boats are massive. My brother lived on Plantation key and it was such a novelty to me seeing boats parked in canals at peoples back doors. It was like our alley’s up here in western Pa.
You should collab with IguanaMan and show him how to retrieve downed invasive iguanas from the water with your boat. I hear they're tasty. He calls them Chicken of the Trees.
Alfred here at Lighthouse Cove Ontario, Canada we too have the canals. The only difference is I look out my rear sliding door its snowing like crazy with a foot of snow on the canals not nice Bro. lol.
Another epic KOH production. Wonderful work Alfred keep working so hard for us. 16:14 that whaler ( it looks like an outrage )is what 28ft ? Looks like a kayak next to those big boys !!!!!
Yayyy Alfred is finally on a pontoon boat! It’s about time bro!!! My offer still stands to take you out on Lake Wylie if you ever come to Charlotte NC! 😊
Nice video Alfred. I really enjoy to see my backyard in your video. Tell your friend if he can find a house around Fort Lauderdale canals area in 500k to let me know. That doesn’t exist anymore. 😁
Back in the late '80's I used to do "the loop" from Las Olas blvd., West under I-95, then South, then East out by Derektor Gunnel Marina, then North again through Ft. Laud. Harbor entrance back to Las Olas Blvd... *at 3am WIDE OPEN. Did a 3 hour idle speed tour, in 45 min., COCKED*
Damn Alfred isn't that a blast from the past when I lived in Oakland park and took my 18.5 searay in the ICW and canals. Didnt do that for long though as most days I couldn't leave the ICW so I brought the boat to my parents house on the west coast to Charlotte harbor much more room to run in.
Lil River Canal behind 0pa Locka Airport to Greynolds Park was a fave ride & no longer accesible, small dirt ramp W .of Red Road was removed .Dammed jet skiers. lol
No way those house are 500K. My daughter just bought a house in Kendall for 500K and there’s no water around. Those in the canal are closer to a Mellon
He is quoting from 7 years ago. Most of the older houses there are being knocked down and 2 story houses are being built. A tear down today is about 800k now
Dam u way out in plantation. The furthest west u can keep a boat in the water in broward . At that point of going left or right the cutoff way with mangroves is faster to open water on a smaller or boat with a low top than the new river way but the new river way u can bring big boats or boats with towers

Those are some huge boats in that canal
Thanks for all the tours you give us. They are very informative. Your the BEST!!
Canal cruising is basically "peeping" into peoples private backyards😉
Yes, that was a great tour, some very interesting areas!
That was a really scenic ride. Loved it.
We used to love canal cruising when we lived in south Florida.

The fact you had Sade in the background priceless
I grew up on the Dania Cutoff spent a lot of my youth on those canals on my 16’ John boat
Vivir en un lugar asi, es como vivir frente a una calle lo unico que en vez de carros pasan botes.
10:24 looks like white water rafting!
Yayyy Alfred is finally on a pontoon boat! It’s about time bro!!!

nice view
I think it would be interesting if you could do this with a garmin overlay showing a map, speed, depth that type of stuff in one of the corners
Alfred, where are you at 13:10?
Close to 95
What a nice place to live
Nice video🎉
America's Venice, Mate!😎
I didn't think anyone who didn't live on the canals really knew
I don't hear so good so I turned on the CC and it says the boat motor sound is [MUSIC] and the sound of the traffic is [APPLAUSE]. I agree. LOL!
@3:25, that's actually under the Turnpike at 595, just west of 441.
Hello down in your area for awhile do you have any Everglades airboat tour recommendations?
Some of those older yachts look like Bergers.
Love the channel buuuut......That "noise" starting @8:35 was the pits!
Good video hey is this where Fred hangs out at night time?
His son must've added this music on here.
500,000 K neighborhood
You can drink and drive a boat
What’s your boy drinking
Lot of Iguanas on properties in this section of Florida.
Wait for it
Money,Money,Money. as far as the eye can see.

This could have been longer
Video was slow during boring parts, then sped up downtown for the parts I wanted to see most. Dizzy.
Love the video and the neighborhood but the rap music ugh!
So you guys never showed this so called sandbar.
he and the other wavy boat channel has shown it
@@macking104 I was just wondering about it cuz I’ve lived in Fort Lauderdale 38 years and don’t know about a sandbar…..
Nobody’s swimming in that shit.
Like the video hated the music.
Your choice of music SUCKS! and your edit goes so fast you can't see anything.. . Redo the video Alfred...
