1:26 "It looks like a foetus!" YES! It is a foetus. You are missing the main point. Most mammals in the world are Placental Mammals, and the babies develop mostly in the womb with an umbilical cord attached to the placenta. But with marsupials, the baby is born as a foetus. It spends the time placental mammals would spend inside a uterus, in the pouch. So the other thing is, they don't have a belly button, because they never had an umbilical cord connecting them to the placenta. They locked on to a nipple instead. So basically, you are looking inside a womb, just as you said, it's like surgery!
Right?!?! I kept thinking “STOP saying it’s disgusting! Lol” This is so beautiful and amazing to me (a mother of two kids). When I was giving birth to my babies they asked me if I wanted them to hold a mirror so I could see my baby coming, and I said heck yes 😂
Exactly, like my comment states; I'm not disgusted by this at all. I find it extremely interesting and amazing to look at. Nothing gross about it. Men these days, am I right? xD
They are when you hand raise them from little Joeys they become a part of the family we have two right now Rita & Ricky Eastern Greys one just over a year old & one going on 2 now. We are loving the experience, very cuddly & loving they cuddle up on the bed with you at night (a big bed) if they are not out grazing, they are peaceful & clean, I had no idea either how gentle they can be until I started to work & live with them as well as the loads of other rescues we have here. lol. Our bed is more like Noah's ark.
Kangaroos can also choose when to have a baby. If they're pregnant but they don't feel like they're ready, no baby will come out. 😱 Humans need this feature 🤣
This video’s title is wrong. It should be called “Listen to me complaining about how disgusting I think the interior of a kangaroo’s pouch is and enjoy how annoying I am by not letting you watch the video”.
You were showing the videos from the animal adventures tiktok page. That's what sent me on an exploration that had me ending up finding this you tube page. 😁 Kangaroos are so fascinating. Could you imagine if us humans had tiny pockets at our belly button that we could grow our embroyos in? We could peek in and see how they were growing and sneak peek the gender. Plus no super horrible birthing pain from pushing out a coconut from a hole the size of a lemon, or going through contractions to open a hole the size of a fingertip to the size of a coconut.😂😂😂 So cool.
That dark brown/black exudate you're talking about is also to keep their skin hydrated when they're pinkies. Once they become what we call a suede or velvet, when the fur is just coming through, they stop producing that exudate as it isn't needed anymore when they get older.
This is not at all disgusting ,it is simply beautiful ,just complete magic ,this is how life comes into existence and this is the way life is continued on Earth ,it's the natural process ,basically the law of nature
Your laugh is Great more of a Giggle..I really enjoyed your commentary...Thanks for the poutch pitch..God bless you and you seem like a really just great guy Dax...
"it's antibacterial, it prevents fungal infections. It kils viruses" okay, that part was so funny, I know it probably does all of those things but it sounded like he has no idea what "antibacterial" means
OMG. This is my first time to see whats inside the kangaroo pouch. That was mind blowing. How can be nature currently design as perfect as it is. Wow!! Thanks Daxon btw.
Actually, I've heard that the mother does not spit out the waste she licks when she toilets her joey, but instead, she ingests it. I believe it's so she can regain some of the water she's lost through the milk. Which is important when you live in such a hot climate. So it's 2 birds with one stone, the joey and pouch is kept clean, and the mother regains water lost.
Oh btw FYI kangaroos dont actually sweat I hope you know that. The kangaroo mother does not have a layer of sweat covering the inner walls of her pouch but kangaroo mothers do regularly secrete an oil which keeps the joey smooth and supple among other things.
Yes you are correct, my usage of the word sweaty was in a relatable sense referring to the exudate and the fact that it's a moist environment. Hope you enjoyed the video 😁
It would best be described as "clammy' sort of sticky feeling. Helps the baby to not eject out when she's hopping around, I'm looking at my husband lying on the bed with one very big male Joey right now. "Rick Rick" they are AMAZING. : )
I think that it is beautiful rather than disgusting. God designed all of these beautiful animals! Amazing how the Joey makes its way from birth canal to the marsupial pouch where it is fed and protected.
It like when you are in a cardboard box 📦 but moist and it looks like a cotton candy jelly bean with long biceps exercises more then me and it’s in a pouch.🦘🦘🦘
I didnt find this disgusting at all. Probably because I already knew the kangaroo is basically a fetus that continues its development inside the pouch until its ready and strong enough to be in the world. Haha i did already know the toilet stuff too but i had forgotten about that
Aw, babyroo in the embryo and fetus stage isn't yucky, ugly, or weird looking. ☹️ Though I did LOL when you said the baby already had biceps and was lifting!😁
Why he keeps saying this is disgusting is beyond me. Nothing disgusting about this at all! How beautiful this is. ❤
Me personally I don't find it disgusting as most of you do . I think it's beautiful how nature can protect the babies
Def. It is beautiful, it’s like 9 month pregnancy but then the ability to constantly look how it goes.
Slimy but cool 😎 😌.
Mother nature not just nature.

@@goobernational4805 Yes, the correct way.
The freshly born completely underdeveloped joey being able to crawl into the pouch by itself amazes me. Nature is crazy.
When you’re a mother, and what this guy thinks is completely disgusting, is to me (a mother) the cutest thing ever. 😅 so adorable in all it’s stages
Same!
Right?!?! I kept thinking “STOP saying it’s disgusting! Lol” This is so beautiful and amazing to me (a mother of two kids). When I was giving birth to my babies they asked me if I wanted them to hold a mirror so I could see my baby coming, and I said heck yes 😂
It really is. The pinkies are the cutest little things to exist. 😍
Exactly, like my comment states; I'm not disgusted by this at all. I find it extremely interesting and amazing to look at. Nothing gross about it. Men these days, am I right? xD
I agree
It is not disgusting,is so amazing.
It's actually cute ,interesting and shows how nature works. It's not disgusting

Yeahh me tooo...
i just learned how gentle & loving a kangaroo is! they’re lovable as well😊

Aww grow up Dax, this is amazing.
It is not disgusting - it is nature in all it’s profundity. Get with it!
WHY are you calling it disgusting? It's nothing but beautiful!
The newborn Joey knows exactly what is going on and knows how to get it done.
Kangaroos can also choose when to have a baby. If they're pregnant but they don't feel like they're ready, no baby will come out. 😱 Humans need this feature 🤣
"that doesn't look like it belongs on Earth, it looks like a fetus!" That was the dumbest comment of all time.
People don't like to use their brains anymore.. 🙄
Thank you!!! I was scrolling for so long to find someone who also thought this.
“A nipple house” lmao
Interesting houses for sure!
@Peacemaker xd
@Peacemaker the pinkish things that you drink milk from
@Peacemaker how old are you? Not being rude, genuine question.
I ran into a video of a buff kangaroo suddenly im on video 3 and in love with an animal I never even thought of being cute.. Nice reporting job..
The male kangaroo looks number 1. Hung over, and number 2. Like he will beat the living crud out of anyone who messes with him.
This video’s title is wrong. It should be called “Listen to me complaining about how disgusting I think the interior of a kangaroo’s pouch is and enjoy how annoying I am by not letting you watch the video”.
Nature: I will make the joey use mussle to get to the pouch!

I always wanted to know what's inside their pocket.. Informative video..
This is amazing. A human wouldn't stand a chance outside the womb at 28 days. Nature is beautiful
The baby kangaroo: GET OUT OF MY ROOM IM PLAYING MINECRAFT
I didn't think it was disgusting at all. I thought it was pretty cool to see the different stages of development.
It legit wasnt that bad or serious. Its actually kinda crazy and cool cus its where the baby grows and becomes the Roo with massive muscles
Immagine that kangaroo was like: ay yo what are you putting in my belly bruh
The way he said anti bacterial ,to protect from fungus and to fight virus😂😂😂😂
You are an absolute doll and you make the video funny to watch yet very educational thank you
Life is beautiful.
Natural is beautiful.
Kangaroo's pouch is beautiful♡
I adore the pinkies so much, they are litteraly the cutest with their little biceps, translucent pink skin and alien-like eyes. 😍😍😍
NOT disgusting. Maybe that's just the male point of view. It's an incredible miracle.
That dark brown/black exudate you're talking about is also to keep their skin hydrated when they're pinkies. Once they become what we call a suede or velvet, when the fur is just coming through, they stop producing that exudate as it isn't needed anymore when they get older.

Just admit it, you watched this video because you were curious how joeys are potty-trained, knowing that they’re in this pouch for 8-11 months
