Such a wholesome interview! Starstruck Brady is so endearing. Although I’ve been aware of the character, Winnie since I was a teenager, I wasn’t a regular Wonder Years watcher, and had no idea of any of this, including Danica being on the West Wing and her mathematic work. Thanks for this, Brady and Danica!
Seems like a troll but (as an aurally challenged person, not wishing to be also a visually challenged person) how hard would it be to post a separate vid ?
Had no idea she was a math wiz! FYI -The moving audio volume meter at the bottom of the screen is really annoying, particularly if you watch videos at high speed.
Inspiring! I am thinking of getting sets of Danica McKellar's books for two families for which I do some tutoring. Many thanks! P.S. I think Danica is great..and I am not a Wonder Years former watcher.
Really Interesting thank you. What wasn't touched on is money; it's all well and good to go study something difficult or outside what is socially accepted or expected if you have the money to do so. If you don't, you could have a ton of ideas, be really smart and never get to explore where that might lead you.
No one explicitly asked. WHY have the bouncing sound graphic ? And, since it almost universally puts people off, why not post the video without it ? How hard can that be ?
A very interesting interview. The Wonder Years was a terrific show I remember watching with great fondness. Danica seems like such a great person. I have to ask though. Why put the bouncing sound bars across the bottom of the screen? They're incredibly distracting. I don't see what purpose they serve other than to induce a headache in the viewer. We can hear the audio. We don't need it visualising.
I think this is Brady's way of indicating that this is a video version of a podcast, rather than something that is primarily intended to be consumed in video format. I think he includes some type of visual animation of the audio in other podcast videos as well, if I remember correctly. Having said that, I agree that the busy, moving visual is distracting.
These videos must have incredibly good retention statistics considering the only people that are coming here are people that want to listen to a long video 😂😂
Some child stars take drugs and totally derail their lives, others publish maths papers. All to say that Danica is really making us drug-takers look bad here ;)
I wonder if people in future will still have that great feeling of discovering something in maths, because sooner or later AI will connect all the dots and do the discovery for us.
Is there a way I can sent Danica a gift? I recently came up with a drawing of Euler's Identity Formula to celebrate Leonhard Euler. As everyone knows, Euler Identity Formula is considered to be the most "Beautiful" equation in mathematic. Thanks.
Giving up mathematics too soon probably doesn't loose us that many female professional mathematicians but where we really loose out is all the female electronic engineers, chemical engineers, programmers etc. because all those courses are filled with mathematics too.

great interview but as others have said, if it's a video then waveform is distracting
Deaf people need that to tell what they're saying

Great video, she's such an inspiring person and a great communicator
Can you please upload a version without stress-inducing graphics?
Such a lovely person! Great episode.
Cool, at last, she's on Numberphile...
I think she has a point about her calling being spreading the message. So smart and articulate!
El episodio del profesor me dejó marcado!! Es de los mejores que vi de "The Wonder Years". Adoraba esa serie de adolescente!
Saludos!

She is into growing and becoming like a diamond. What an inspired person!
Wow, Danica is gold.

Danica one in a generation.

As a poor person who had to drop out of university so that I could work a second job, I suspect you may have a point there.
What's your point ? If anyone can't afford to do X for whatever reason including money, then they can't do X. And ? What ?
Very impressive
she is as brilliant and sweet as she is beautiful and talented.

How hard can that be ?

Danica is Miss Martian from Young Justice for me, although people might also know her as the girl from the pineapple episode of How I Met Your Mother

Yes, I'm unable to watch. Gonna have to set this aside and listen while I do something else. It's torture!

The Math Wonder Decades
Please repost this without the fake volume meter. I can't watch this, only listen.
It literally makes me feel sick to try to watch it. As with many people, I'm trying to watch at 2x speed, which makes it worse.
Happy international day of sign languages

Much much later
tim is green of envy (or he would be if he got envious of things)
damn, struck again.

No
That jumping gizmos are annoying, geez.
Please, PLEASE remove the annoying, seizure inducing graphics!
The least you could do is post a warning.
Sorry i cant fucking watch this with the amplitude bars continuously animating at the bottom of the screen!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
No need to apologise.

'Lose'. Did you people go to school ?
