I am very happy you tested Native 4K even if that is Low or "Ultra Low". For benchmark purposes it really helps comparing cards at Native Resolution. For example the little "RTX 4050" (as everyone calls it) may be able to run CyberBug at 4K Medium settings at a locked 30 FPS... Maybe... Keep going man, you are always a pleasure to watch!
If I didn’t get a good deal on a RTX 3070, I would’ve definitely gotten a gtx 1660 super, though I have to say. Definitely underestimated the power of the card! Great video though!
@@beataoo Sad news for u 2023 and incoming 2024 games most of them will use more then 8-or 10gb vram , 12gb gpus should be the bare bare minimum for 2023 and near future. I had almost all nvidia gpus from 3060 TI -3070-3070 TI -3080 10gb Had massive probs in some games with the 8gb gpus , even with the 3080 10gb i manage to fill the vram in some games with RT on. And even the games that werent using the full vram buffer of my gpus back then i had randoom stutter lags ,again bcs of the vram running at limit most of the time so wasnt a smooth experience at all. I mean makes sense new gen consoles have 16gb vram.

A great performing busget end gpu for the masses!!! Its great to see these gpus being reasonably cheap in general, not just the US. I was admittedly quite surprised who well the gpu performaed at higher resolutions :D

I have a 1440p monitor so the vast majority of games that support the resolution, I play them at that resolution. By vast I mean all. I have a GTX 1660 Super, a i7 5960X and 64GB of RAM. Old system, but it's ok. I don't see why anyone would have a problem with someone else playing games at 1440p with any card they want. Granted I don't buy many games any more, I have thousands and thousands already, and my most intensive game is Cyberpunk 2077 which for me at least isn't as fluid as I would have liked, even at 1080p. I am not a fan of upscaling so that doesn't help either. In fact I am often tempted to plug in a 1080p monitor I have to play CP2077 alone, but I don't. Yet. Keep doing what you are doing man, don't let negative people affect you.

@@Lobardan You're right. but In certain games texture settings are not intensive on the gpu but need more than 6gb vram and in gtx 1070 you will get same fps but mush better 1% low which resulting in more stable gameplay.
Kryzzp , you should benchmark outside Toms Diner around that marketplace. That area is super intensive at maxed settings with high density crowd & its just around the corner from V`s apartment. Keep em` coming

Ray Tracing Low only uses ray traced local shadows, which apply to indoor point lights only and only select lights. RT Low outdoors will get lower FPS because it's still got a small BVH to create, but you aren't seeing any actual RT. Indoors it will get far lower FPS
UA-cam is extremely saturated with BG3 videos at the moment. I love the game but i've started blocking recommendations that include the game, because otherwise i would have nothing else in my feed.

Nice. I have 1660 Super. I will probably get this game for PC soon. I'm deciding whether to play this 1080p High Native, 1080P High with FSR 2.1, 1080P Ultra with FSR 2.1. I feel like one of those options is best way to play, and I'll probably play with Freesync if it feels good. So yeah one of those 3, I'll just see which feels smooth and also looks good.

Hey man, good job and I have a reasonable suggestion whenever you change the settings, I know you call them out as you play the game and test it out, but would be nice or better if the settings would be somewhere on the screen written on somekind of transparent back ground, basicly of what you've chosen specifically, so the viewer could just look at the list of settings whenever he pleases. So after you put new settings on, a small transparent plane on the screen for a list of chosen settings, abbreviated ofc and stuff. Either way, useful content. Cheers
Hi Kryzzp, im planning to upgrade my GTX 1060 3GB to a RX 5700 XT TUF Gaming 8GB Vram. i was wondering if it was enough for a Ryzen 5 4500U because my 1060 is too weak for my cpu and is bottlenecking my whole setup, im losing atleast 30.1% of my performance in games. even Left 4 Dead 2 is struggling going in the lower 60s and 70s in intense situations. would be well appreciated for a reply. i also found out that theres only a small performance decrease with the RX 5700 XT and R5 4500U, which is atleast 3.7 - 5.1%. and the upgrade would give me atleast a 38.6% - 50%+ performance which is incredible. if there is any better alternative for a gpu upgrade than the RX 5700 XT, i would appreciate a reply.

The 1070 isn't even powerful enough to utilize 8 gb in modern games

How the hell does the 1660 have RT
Software RT.
It supports it via Drivers, but doesn't have the "Hardware support" unlike a 2060 for example
I like that Kryzzp testing out the Gtx 1660 super again (my current gpu) and damn this game can really run alright on it
I finished the game on 1080p High with some Medium settings usually getting at least 45 fps, was playable.
FSR is a godsend for this game

FSR2 works really well with the 1660 super most optimized games will run 1080p ultra some games can even do 4k 30 [older games]

Xess works better than FSR on cyberpunk77 it gives better image quality.
It does not, on my rx6600 it's 10 fps average less from fsr 2.1

I think the weird scaling started with this game maybe. From just barely getting 60 fps average at 1080p low to 45 average at 1080p high.
