Truly a masterpiece. Olivia really nailed it. I cant think of a better song to describe Lucy Gray. Nice video!

Also, that was an interesting analysis. I love seeing themes like revenge on fictional stories and how people react to that

It’s like self-improvement, but without being around the people who drag you down or make you feel less than. So often in life, people take out their frustrations on others (even their friends) in a way even they may not realize is toxic.
It’s a sort of romantic fantasy, but one we can realistically embody: to disappear and come back better, stronger, more outgoing, SOMETHING that makes a new first impression to show off and say “hey, you weren’t seeing all I *could* be”
🎶I’m higher than the hopes that you brought down🎵
It’s peak. The whole song is just peak.

All that said I think I’m way more pro-revenge than most people, but I’m a very tit for tat person, so some may see it as justice. I think if the harm we do in revenge outweighs the harm done to us, we might ruminate and feel worse. But I think that’s a problem with *how* and not *if* we get revenge. But again: I’m a very tit for tat person. I think some people could feel worse than I do if they adopted the same mindset.

@@OliverCovfefe Yes, that sums it up well: “you weren’t seeing all I could be” and now I am at my fullest potential (if that’s even possible). Yes, I agree - the song is peak.
