After watching this, I am going to make my channel into 3 channels so I can have shorts of relaxing and funny clips of my puppies here in Australia, the next channel will be DIY projects and the third channel will be talking about being late diagnosed Autistic and ADHD at 47. For so many years now youtubers have been hyper editing their videos for audience retention to an extreme, so if everyone does the same , people need something different. I also think channels blow up because they are bringing great value to their audiences, people relate to them, the stories, the information, they know how to connect with their viewers.

Nice video Cristina. I’d like to be as natural as you in front of the camera, still struggling with this. But I think my main problem right now is that I made one successful video showcasing me in a bikini on the thumbnail - 230 males subscribed for my channel after this. Now UA-cam shows them my new videos about family travel and off course they don’t react as they didn’t subscribe for that. And ad my subscribers don’t react, UA-cam stopped pushing my videos at all. Do you have any idea how to get out of this trap?
Thank you! ☺️ I still struggle, but what helps is to film very often, and the uneasiness fades off. I also do a lot of takes , which I then spend hours in editing to choose the best one. It doesn’t matter that your male subs don’t react to your videos, keep making videos of what you want, and in time UA-cam will find your audience. It’s normal that some channels get stuck on an audience because of the algorithm, but just keep uploading the content you want to make and make it interesting for people to watch, get better with every video improve something , and upload consistently! You will get over this!

Interestingly there a lot of channels blowing up now with videos with no editing and sitting in their car! Seems to be a shift happening

I use the free version of DaVinci Resolve, and DJI mic2 ( I only have one transmitter, so I synched it in post)
