We caught up with Dave Murphy, bass lord of Gaelic Doom Metal inventors MAEL MÓRDHA, in 2006 to introduce their band to our listeners. We touch on the band history, lyrical content of the songs and what set Irish bands apart from their scandinavian counterparts that try to sail similar waters. And then there was this legendary TV experience... Unfortunately, the band is no more.
