My dragon loves most of the food I feed her. Nellie love mustard greens. Fruit, most of the different veges i feed her, she loves crickets. And horned worms. She did go thru a period this summer where she didn't eat for a while.
I was watching your your lordly thing about the blue and and I think you're doing a really good job cuz I've had to feed my my one of my rescues and it's it's it's really hard you got to grind up the little worms and get some baby food that's what I did and all that stuff but you know I think you're doing a good job I hope he makes it
I'll have to try this when my bearded dragon calypso comes out of brumation. I wish I could have stopped the brumation but she wasn't having it. Love the videos.
I had a period during when my beardie was becoming an adult where she would barely eat her salad, and I was getting really concerned because she was around a year old and should have been eating mostly salad already at that point. What I ended up doing was giving her watermelon. She had never really been interested in fruit or veggies before but I figured I would have better luck with fruit and I had never actually offered her watermelon before. I put some small pieces on top of a mixture of collard greens and mustard greens and she was immediately interested when I put the bowl in her enclosure. She went over and went straight for the watermelon on top, but she also got some of the greens in her mouth at the same time, and right then it was like a switch flipped and she started going crazy on that salad. So I gave her salad with watermelon for a few more days and she would eat the whole bowl, and then I gave her yellow squash instead of watermelon and she liked that too. I’ve never had a problem with her eating salad since. She likes pretty much everything, but she goes absolutely nuts for watermelon and blueberries. Every time I give her some of those she goes and picks out the good stuff before eating the rest of the greens and squash. Moral of the story: find a fruit that they like and put it in with greens and you’ll have your Beardy eating their vegetables in no time
I get the same flower bag from petco or petbland and my dragons love them just by itself but mixing them with the salad is a really good idea

You could do bearded dragon take out salads. I have watched lots of your videos. They have been very encouraging, informative and helpful. Loved the video with Miracle baiting her with super worms switching a rolled up piece of green. That was sheer genius. 😁 It also helps watching your videos if I'm having a challenging day. 🦎🦎🦎
That works with my bearded dragons except I use cilantro raspberry and live worms and you're right not all bearded dragons will eat their greens so its good to what you're doing so they will eat their greens
Dude, I love chef-ing for my beardie, I mix it up, add salad toppers, I prep the food for him a few days in advance then build it in the morning for him, i live food myself, so I want my baby to get the opportunity to try awesomeness too! Love it!!!
My baby doesn’t like eating from a dish he has to climb onto, honestly.... sour cream tub lids, large yoghurt tub lids., that’s his jam

Im going to try the repashy grub. Right now I just do dandelions and butternut squash. Sometimes it's swiss chard and dandelions mixed in there. The carrots come in when I don't have butternut squash. Great video as always.

Try a flatter turtle bowl. My beardie is missing a foot so he has trouble with regular bowls. I got him a flat turtle one and it’s been so much easier for him

Thor Odin has suddenly started to run around with his black beard and bobbing his head up and down while jumping, climbing, and running around in his tank (thank God it is a large tank), I have been told that he has now reach sexual maturity and is looking for a female… oh my goodness. I think this salad with all those goodies might change his picky mind (I hope) 😊

Mine was the same when she was much younger but I kept at it trying different things. What really worked to make sure she was getting them is rolling a meal worm in a green, like a taco!! 🌮
I love this recipe. I just have a question in regards to how you get that clay-like texture from the Repashy instead of the gel version of it? Do you add less water to the powder mixture? I would like to try that method and add it to my Dragons salad as well. Keep up the great work Lord Elion!
Usually the instruction says to add hot water but I use warm water and less to get it like that. Hopefully this helps 🙏

This is very good information have not seen a video on exactly what kind of salad to make and that is like information that people want they don’t always know what type of stuff to put together even though there’s a lot of information online of what vegetables they can eat

Hello New to your channel Love your vlogs. I just got my first baby bearded dragon. Last sunday and learning alot from your vlogs i really did not no much about the reptile but they are so cute.
I've done live worms it the salad. He sits there and waits to see the bug comes out. I've even seen him pick up a veggie piece by mistake and chops off the rest so he doesn't eat the rest.

Sooo, I have a question, is this like a supplement for live protein? How often can I feed my dragon this product? Also.. Lol he's very special and quickly realized carrots don't sit well in his tummy. What would be another good add on to the greens?

Mine eats his greens more than much husband's does but its great thanks for sharing this i know I do a mix greens with mine but he gets so made if I put his vitamins on it and he gets really made if I dont add more than just the greens

My beardie LOVES 😍😍😍 collard greens ... she use to like blue berries but we got a really sour batch a couple months and she’s always like 🤨 when I give them to her now and she hates that gourmet stuff

Dubai roaches and black fly larvae are crack cocaine for my beardy. Oddly though, he doesn't like the yellow or red bell peppers, but loves the orange.

Hey all the information I've come across shows Swiss Chard is not a good choice as a staple. It contains high levels of oxalates that can bind calcium and other trace minerals, preventing their absorption. Diets composed primarily of these types of vegetables can lead to nutrient deficiencies.
Carrots are also not a good staple choice as compounding too many foods that are rich in vitamin-A can cause a level of toxicity.
If my Bearded Dragon doesn't like these recipes I want you to eat that horn worm 😂🤣😂😂

I have tried all of this and my juvenile beardie we got a mth ago REFUSES all of that. I've spent so much money on food for her to pick it up and almost chuck it across the tank. She is literally as stubborn as my 3 yr old daughter. Any advice?!

Carrots should not be given everyday as they are basically sugar also blue berries are high in oxalates. A very rare treat as it will bind calcium and cause MBD

What makes it even more complicated is that their interest in some food might change ,
mine used to enjoy okras, now he loves cilantro and some mashed pumpkins (cat, dog preparations).
What do you think about endives and cole slaw ?

@@paradigmprophecyisback6578 I know, it s very controvertial but I think it s better to avoid it , it binds calcium, because of oxalates, so it s not poisonous but it s not healthy, same to a lesser extent than broccoli as an example

My beardies Xena, Leviathan, Dora, Cruella and Mclovin are soooo picky and smart! They don't like to eat their greens, and when I add live bugs to the salad they wait for the bug to be visible and only eat the bug 🤦♀️. I literally have to get creative and use 2 tongs. One holding a hornworm and the other with the greens and as they open thier mouth to eat the worm I give them the tong with the greens. Then they give me the look like "how can you betray me?" lmfao! I have to do this with all 5 dragons just because I'm desperate lol. I have tried everything to get them to eat salad on their own but they really don't like any salad I've tried. I guess I just have to be thankful that I'm ambidextrous lmfao 🤣

My dragon loves salads also!! My granddaughter’s doesn’t!! Mine, he absolutely loves carrots!! Lol!! They are the sweetest critters I’ve had, so loving, they are top bomb!! I need to get mine another home, he’s outgrown it! He’ll love his Christmas gift!! So excited for him!! He’s now at least 24 inches long!
How old is your dragon? ( if you know!!), I’m still trying to figure out my dragons age, we adopted him from a pet shelter that rescued him! He loves salads, so I hear stories of ages and all, what they need, etc. so curious!

I am new to your channel and would love if you could give me tips on how to raise my baby bearded dragon she has not been eating it's only my third day with her but she hasn't been really feeding the very first night she ate two mealworms but she hasn't eaten by sharks and I've only been rubbing water on her I have been told by the UA-cam people but other than that she hasn't really been eating today I tried to trick it did work so that helped me out but my father who is an experienced lizard connoisseur has told me that she's probably just about to shed but I still would like some tips and tricks about my baby bearded dragon for name is Piper
Try mixing her old food with new food. Also she might be stressed out.
As a beardie owner since almost a year i can say just don't stress your lizard too much. Don't handle her as much as you can and just try to socialize her step by step with you and your family. As babys the bearded dragons are sheding like 2 times a month so you may just give her a bath after 1-2 days of socializing. Also make sure she has pooped if she hasn't is normal not to eat, the bearded dragons do this when they have to poop. A bath with worm water will help for sure but watch some UA-cam vids to see how to do it exactly.
