This Chiriboga looks like a *really* good tool for helping folks pick up the game! Jinteki can be a bit finky when you use it your first few times, but this looks really intuitive to use!
Glad you've been enjoying it. I'll admit, I've been spending a bit more time than I would have expected on Chiriboga, trying to understand how the AI works. It's super neat.
@@MetropoleGrid Yes, it's fantastic and making such a smart AI is no small feat. It definitely helped me to make that jump to Jinteki and I'm having so much fun with Netrunner!
Chiriboga is great, it's the way I can play more, because in jinteki it is difficult to find people that want to play gateway 😔, and I'm not ready for all the card pool in standard 😅. But on that matter I wanted to ask, if there's ways to "learn" the game with someone in the community?, not the mechanics and that because that at this point I get it, at least the basics, but someone like you do in these videos to understand how to take better decisions either in deck building or on planning better the clicks, reading board states, deciding winning conditions, etc. I think I make a lot of mistakes in my decision taking, but many times I don't see where and which ones. Sorry for the long text, I just really want to learn and get into it
I highly recommend the Green Level Clearance Discord Channel - discord.com/invite/glc - it's a fantastic community of Netrunner players from all around the world. It's a great space to ask any general Netrunner questions, and get advice on deck building and strategy. Also, I'd recommend hopping into one of the 'find a game' channels, and flagging down a mentor. Mentors are experienced players who are excited to sit down with you on jinteki.net, and walk you through a game, discussing any of the topics you highlighted. GLC is also an easy space to find someone who is looking for 'Gateway Only' games on jinteki.net. GLC is definitely where you want to be.
@MetropoleGrid thank you very much for replying 🙏🏻, Yes I've found some people to play online, and even someone to play in my city thanks to the advices in GLC, so thank you very much. Last question is how can I flag down a mentor? I'm super interested, but like there's many things in GLC, not sure in which group? or how can I do this specific research? Thanks again I'm loving this community, everyone is so supportive and welcoming ❤️. And thanks for all your content, I really love it
@@slvgrd I believe you'll want to type '@Mentor' in the ''find-online-games' server. Just post a message with the mentor tag, and state that you're looking for a game where you can focus on decision making, for example. Thanks for the kind words, and I'm stoked that you've already taken the dive into the Netrunner community. It's something special, for sure.
I haven't seen Chiriboga do anything funky like that. Perhaps the Runner played a Jailbreak on HQ, while also having a Docklands Pass installed? Those two effects would compound and allow the Runner to access three cards.
Hey Andrej, in game 2 I was wondering what you think about installing the Send a Message over the 2nd Offworld Office instead of scoring it? Technically you only need to advance it once to win on the following turn and it leaves you 1 click. Also, what would be your last click in this situation?
I think that's a much better line, and easily the best option on that turn. The last click on that turn isn't particularly important, as all of our necessary ice is rezzed and we have enough money to score out the winning Send a Message. Against a human opponent, I'd probably install a third ice on R&D, just to cause some slight uncertainty regarding how secure R&D is. Great catch!

Chiriboga is amazing. Very competent AI compared to many other games.
Chiriboga is exactly what I needed to learn the game! It's amazing!

It accessed 3 cards aginst me with Jailbreak, so I guess there are some bugs?

Oh wow, I did not realize Dawn will be replacing System Update.
That it will! Next year in Netrunner will be very exciting, for a bunch of great reasons.
Wow cool

Yeah, that was my line too. It's at 52:12. There's a spin installed to protect the offoff
