The (ascending) melodic minor (aka Jazz Minor) scale is a fundamental music scale. In C, it consists of the notes C, D, E♭, F, G, A, B. The notes are the same as the natural minor scale, but with the sixth and seventh degrees raised by half step to a major sixth and seventh, respectively.
