The Taillights are absolutely impossible in Germany, that is true. However, if they are original Equipment from old times, they may pass as long as reflectors (small red ones) are added on the rear. See Volkswagen Treser Lights.
Regarding width and wheels it is depending on how much you want it. You can basically build a lot as you wish but need a Special Approval which takes time and money as an engineer from the authorities will check everything in detail.
The exhaust limits depend on what is assigned to the car from factory or by an old special approval. If you tuned you r129 in 199x and got assigned a high decibel number, it will be tied to your VIN and be legal today.
Because of this, many even totaled cars/bodies are sold for high amounts of money as the serve as a basis for loud cars if repaired.

So beautiful!! I always did have a hard time choosing between the CL, the SL, and the CLK as my favorite Merc Coupes. My US-Spec 2005 Mercedes CLK 55 AMG Coupe with the rare AMG "Avantgarde" Sport Pkg., 18" wheels, quad exhaust, and high-performance rear gears is super rare it turns out. Only 247 CLK 55 AMG Coupe's were sent to the US in 2005, and even less were made with the Avantgarde Sport Pkg. and factory AMG quad exhaust. Found her in a dirt car lot ran by people who had no clue what she was. Thank you for saving my car's brothers and sisters Patina! These Mercedes-Benz and AMG cars are quickly dropping in numbers and being destroyed, especially here in the United States. I originally went to this lot to buy a Volvo, but when I saw this CLK 55 and how loved she must've been at one point, I had to save her before some idiot owner finally does her in(Which probably would've happened).

It's good Vico also mentioning about the strict regulations in Germany (and this is valid for many European countries). I don't think that many people in the US know what kind of freedom they are enjoying when it comes to car modifications. And it's not just about modifications, the other thing is taxes.... Where I live (Austria) we have a so called 'engine-related insurance tax' (Motorbezogene Versicherungssteuer). This means I have to pay over 3000 Euro per year just to 'own' my CL600.... Expensive hobby.

In Austria normal citizens are richer than normal american citizens, you have paid family leave, you have far better healthcare, universal healthcare, no massive student loans when you choose to go to a university, ... Consider yourself lucky not to live in the s hole that is the USA.

They are the same wheel brother, SSR and Work Euroline same
Just like the SSR Corpo is the same as Monoblock by BBS or OZ same design I guess
@@njabuloshingange641 the design is the similar but the construction is different. Work Eurolines are 2 piece welded and the SSR Vienna is 3 piece.

Hello Patina boys, I have found two MB 100 pre merger AMG near the side of the road in Southern Germany. I immediately stopped and took a look at both of them, one looked a little rough and one looked pretty decent. In the 90s I went to an Arab horse racing meeting at Sandown Park near London. Carpark was full of wide body Benz. They all looked a bit silly TBH. This looks cool thought. Probably because it’s not white 😂

Love your vids guys, it "could" be legal here in Germany, but it is a lot of paper sh1t and the Section 21 StVZO and you need all the paperwork when you get the "go". Like a normal suspension with OEM wheels you can get a 19(3) it is like only by "little things" but as soon as 3rd party rims you need a 21.
I "just" have rims and suspension. But also like 30 pages of appraises for those things. If a cop had a bad coffe in the morning, you will have a long day before you....
