This is the first of several piano arrangements of some Skrillex. I really loved the track since I heard it and finally decided it was time to A) make a new video and B) make it have some Skrillex glory in it. Skrillex's music is so fun to play on the piano because it is so well-written in the first place - my "arrangement" is really more of a transcription, as the writing is flawless as is.
I would love if you guys could show this to all your friends that are fans of Skrillex and help generate some buzz for it - I would love for Sonny to see the arrangement!

Remember being a sophomore in high school listening to this. Now I’m 27 with a kid in my own house. Crazy how life goes by.

@@MassHysteriaHDI found this song when I was in middle school in 2014 and always listened to it before middle school football games and all the good memories that it brought, I had someone who I considered a friend who was almost due to give birth to her second child get caught in a house fire with her first born too I play this song and think about them.
I recently lost my best friend. He was 22. He played the piano beautifully. I showed him the original version of this song... I didnt think it was possible to play the solo/synth with a real piano. How glad I am to be wrong and how sad I am I never got to show Jarek this song.
I miss you.

I remember the first time I listened to this almost four years ago, when everything in life was so much simpler, it was a happy time.
Now, listening again, bittersweet drops of memories stream towards the ground. Memories of a joyous time when all was good. Bitterness now because the times have changed and life is void of joy.
I hope to one day experience those feelings again, back when I would a future of endless possibilities instead of the dark nothing I see now. I remember back then, feeling so free it felt like flight. I hope to one day leave this dark place and fly again.

I've got some hard feelings that go to this one too. I remember when I first heard this track in my freshman year of my undergraduate at RCAD and I was all strung out on god knows what. Since then I haven't heard this song but maybe once in those 6 years. Now I'm 24 (an age I never thought I'd reach) and doing pretty well. A wonderful fiancée at my side and a little hovel we call home. Just a happy, drug free (5 years now) chef. Life hands you so many hardships, you just have to take worst and make it the best. Love to all of y'all.

This cover is a stellar example of how dynamics changes the emotion of a song. Evan over exaggerates piano and forte to such a wonderful effect in this piece
This has got to be one of the most beautiful song adaptations I've ever heard. I love the original version as well, but the way you managed to keep the electronic dynamics only with the piano is outstanding. I basically see this video every week, and every time is an amazing experience, you should be proud of yourself.
