@@JacobViral2 You knew it would make big difference. But thanks for the props. You did a great job on not only completing the task professionally, but also showing the others one of the best ways to do it. I'll bet you you could jump up and down on that roof with no flex. Congrats again on the numbers. I know you are not finished yet.
I just installed a 370 pc twinkling led Starlight kit on my headliner. Along with 50 sq ft of dampening material and memory foam for the fiber optic strands. Just dampening the roof made a huge difference.
Ever going to go for a 160 again? Highest I’ve got so far is a 153 at 41hz but in middle of upgrading subs. I’m hoping to get a 155-157 by summer. Thanks for the videos. Your the reason why I started my roof today.
always look out even upgrading subs doesn't always result in higher DB's obviously it just opens the window for more gains but doesn't always equal instant gains.
I’m sure in the future again yea but right now I don’t need to invest too much more into car audio where a 160 build is a money pit for me some. I used to do almost a 65 sealed on glass so I know what’s it takes either way. 👍
I would find the fuse to that and pull it out so that it doesnt bother you Jacob. I do everything i can think of to a vehicle because im a basshead. Thats a very good score there tho.
WOW THAT BEEPING IS EVEN MORE ANNOYING THAN MY VOICE AND THAT CAN GET VERY ANNOYING😂😂😂 WOW WHAT I WOULD DO IS FIND THE WIRE OR FUSE AND REMOVE IT OR CUT IT TO DISABLE THAT DOOR BEEP.
It’s completely worth it if you are going from stock cabin with a fabric headliner to a braced solid wood roof. Some people gain multiple dbs from stock to cabin mods alone including a roof. It’s not for people who want a nice loom or a vehicle where you don’t want to damage stuff ofc.

Very good job on your roof bracing. A 153+ is way louder than my score. LOVE IT!!!
You’re one of the only channels that shows this stuff in this much detail thx man!
Thanks glad to share
Thats awesome! I told you you'd make a significant gain by doing you're roof that way. One freaking 12!! Thats crazy. Great job.
Yessir you were right

160 is old news for Jacob.

Do you just brace it up an it stays or how did you do it? What do you screw into?
Watch my wood roof process videos I just made and you’ll understand.
Why not tape the back of wood edge above your head when standing in front of box/amp.
Good idea
So curious about this. I'm second skined right now and want to know if the wood is as much better as everyone says
Looks like he just answered your ?. I tossed birchwood all up in my 2017 Hyundai sonata and it worked wonders.
