I'm really getting fascinated with Hellman lately, and thanks to Criterion for preserving and enlightening his work! He truly is one of the unsung heroes for giving America it's own "new wave" of cinema! And the genius of Roger Corman for letting him do what he's done with merely a few frames trimmed here and there. Terry Gilliam should be rolling his eyes at this! LOL
