This is a lot of personal info but I’ll tell you anyway because it’s meaningful. This has been a bit of a traumatic 10 days health-wise. I have been in the Cleveland Clinic ICU for a surprise heart condition, feeling pretty anxious and missing beauty so much. But today I was allowed to take my first shower since arriving here and my husband snuck me a sample of Melodie de l'Amour Extrait de Parfum from Dusita to put on. I cried. It’s a beautiful white floral that now represents renewal and healing for me. Thank you for sharing your love of perfume with us, Chris. It’s more than just smelling nice. Perfume is hope, beauty, regeneration and commemoration. I love the list you created and definitely encourage people to try Dusita perfumes if they love florals.

I recently purchased a cheapie that I remember smelling probably 15 years ago when I was in school in the local mall - Boucheron Jaipur. It smells sooo good! Kind of reminds me the Pure Poison. Costs £25 for the big size, 15 years ago it was triple that - thats the good thing about the older perfumes
Hi there!!! Oh my signature fancy scent used to be Boucheron (edp). I felt like a sophisticated grown up when I wore it. Then I discovered Jaipur Saphir which was gorgeous! And they had to go and discontinue that spectacular beauty! I like Saphir also but would love for them to bring back Jaipur Saphir! 🙏🏻❤️

Pure poison is so gorgeous, however it doesn’t match everyone. It suits elegant, sophisticated looking lady. This is how I imagine this smell, therefore it’s not for me😓
This oriental collection by YSL is gorgeous. I also have my eyes on Supreme bouquet and Exquisite embroidery from the same collection 😋 Also love the note of sesame, this is so addictive to me ! I have Alahine too. This is one of their best with Barkhane from their old collection. A little more vintage, but I like that 😊

That Carolina Herrera confidential collection does seem to be loved by everyone who tries them, I'm not sure quite how they've managed that 😂 I can see why you would have blind bought and felt pretty confident doing it.
Your beautiful, porcelain-skinned visage keeps popping up on my recommended feed so I feel rude not to click (ie; come over to hear your news and have a quick friendly chat with you). I was pleased to see the inclusion of CH's 'Burning Rose' in this list. That entire Confidentials range is a complete sensation, what a triumph. Madam Herrera, if she was the sole Creative Director behind this collection has fantastic judgement and excellent taste. I'd shovel the whole lot into my shopping basket if the word 'penury' wasn't flashing ominously on the horizon, ahaha. But I always recommend Burning Rose for men too as it's the perfect rose-forward fragrance for men who declare they can't wear rose or don't like it. I also wouldn't put it next to Portrait of Lady, Noir de Noir, Rose d'Arabie or any of those typical syrupy rose-oud fragrances; Burning Rose has its own distinct, attractive personality, don't you think? I'm still enjoying Gold Myrrh and Bronze Tonka the most but as I said, the whole crew are a stunning bunch. The other fragrance I have which you showcased is Fragrance du Bois's 'New York 5th Avenue'. That one is a classic syrupy, dark plush rose-oud type of fragrance (don't think Oud is listed but the finished composition is still from that school of things). May I suggest a completely friendly wearable, elegant floral fragrance which one could certainly wear on all occasions or in any climate? Sir Gallahad by Isabey. Have you tried this one yet? I think I've mentioned it in a comment before in the context of it's listed notes and how the discovery of this information quite literally stunned me temporarily. :) Bye Chris. I work 6 days a week but you could never tell by the frequency and indulgent length of my comments, ahaha! One could assume I sit poolside shoving bon bons into my mouth and gossiping on the telephone all afternoon. I wish. ;)

I loved the sample of Ange ou demon that Gabi sent me. Definitely on my list, although not sure how the reformation smells as I think she sent me the older version... Maybe just the longevity that's the issue though, I can live with that.
Amazing selection, as always ! We really have a lot of common tastes in terms of fragrances, and this is such a pleasure to watch your lists everytime 🤗. I absolutely love and want Atlas garden as well. I smelled it only one time in Paris, but it smelled so gorgeous that I know I want a bottle one day, same for magnificient Gold from the same line. 🤗🤗 My personnal actual best Winter floral that I can think of is "Love Tuberose" by Amouage. OH MY GOSH, this is just amazing. I am a tuberose lover, and this fragrance is a white flower tuberose hug. There is gardenia and jasmine, then a huge dose of Tuberose mixed with the most GORGEOUS true whipped cream note that I have ever smelt in my life. This is creamy, this is sweet, but we still smell so much the florals that keeps it from being sickly. These flower almost have a vintagy-classy grandma vibe, but mixed with this wonderful whipped cream makes it just magical. It is a touch floral green at the begining, then settles and stay this marvelous sweet vanilla and whipped cream tuberose scent. I live in France, I just paid 18€ for only a sample just to be able to test it because I wanted to smell it so so badly, but Amouage isn't available anywhere unless you live in Paris. And gosh I have no regrets. This is an absolute masterpiece for me. I rarely smelled something so beautiful. And on top of that, it is strong and LASTS all day, without giving a head-ache. This is just absolutely gorgeous, I will try to keep my sample as long as I can because Amouage fragrances are so expensive for the young young woman that I am. 😭😅😍 (Sorry, I am long, but I could talk about perfumes all day long)

I just bought my first Amouage (Honor Woman because I got a tester for a good deal) and Love Tuberose is next on my list to buy (if I can get a decent deal). When I was a young woman (ahem) I had to be very careful with my purchases. I was a broke student doing a sabbatical in Washington DC, and once I popped into a restaurant to get dinner and this beautiful woman sitting at the bar smelled fantastic. I got my nerve up and asked her what she was wearing. She said Fleurissimo by Creed. So I saved my money and bought a tester (the only bottle I owned) and literally felt like I was on a cloud. I didn’t feel like a hard working broke student. I felt just as classy as the lady sitting at the bar that day. Haha :D I despise tuberose-forward fragrances but your descriptions are absolutely charming, so much energy and enthusiasm. If you were a sales associate in a store and our paths crossed my wallet would be roadkill, for sure. Yes! I was the same way but I ended up loving so many of the musks. Especially Dovana, Smeraldo and shoot….I’m blanking on the other one that smells like baby powder cream. But I wore the sample and picked my daughter up from school and she said “ mom it smells so good in the car” I’m a sucker for perfumes my daughter loves. 😉💕

Since you love bread notes, I think you would love Serge Lutens Jeux de Peau. It smells exactly like walking into a French bakery, and I just can’t get enough of it. I spritz it on my pjs and pillow every night, but I have also worn it out and about. Delicious and comforting. 🥖 🍯
Lisa that is my unicorn fragrance. The older bottles (the affordable ones) have literally vanished and the new bell jars are 400$. A 2ml sample is 28$. Lord! But I’ll probably just get a large sample or decant. 😉💕

Hey girl! *waves* I hear you about “strange” perfume notes, sometimes they can be too avant-garde for me and other times I crave the unusual. Just purchased Venom of angel last night after going through a sample quite quickly. I kept craving it. Not blind buy safe but if you’re into interesting fragrances perhaps you should sample it! I’ve had that Parle moi fragrance on my to-buy list for years now but I can’t seem to pull the trigger because from a sample mind you, it only lasted barely 30 minutes but it was gorgeous. Since you have a full bottle, what would you rate the projection and longevity of it? I’m also in the Midwest (southern Kansas) btw :D Oh and one last thing, about the EBK one… I own deep and desire by them which I adore but ruby and vanilla was just okay to me. I only had a sample of it so I didn’t get to test it that many times but I’m wondering if the neroli version might be more my jam. Do you find it very similar to ruby? Is it sweeter? Im just looking for a reason to blind bind it really LOL I love their bottles and you’re spot on about the performance of them, they’re out of this world!
How crazy!! I have been wearing Venom of Angels over the past 2 weeks.......nursing my teeny sample. It is lovely. So the Guimauve de Noel is a very soft fragrance, but it lasts at least 4-6 hours on me. Projection and sillage are on the soft side yes.......so if you are anosmic at 30minutes.......I wouldn't purchase. I am able to smell it for several hours but it will never blow ppl off their feet. LOL. If Ruby N Vanilla was just "ok" to you...then you should save your money because this is 50% of RNVI (which to me is just gorgeous) and 50% Neroli/orange blossom perfume. I wish I didn't love their fragrances so much! Is is a much fresher/floral version of RNVI. Sounds like Deep N Desire is the fragrance for you...it is lovely.
Blondine is a scrubber on me - too beastly. I love the note of butter and am still on the hunt for a good one (I could relate when Jeremy put his nose in a jar of ghee 😂). Burning Rose - I first bought a decant from scentsplit and it did not register on my skin. I didn’t it could be possible so I bought a bottle direct from Harrods and zero notes came off my skin. It’s was completely odorless. I think my favorite winter floral is royal crown Oud Jasmine!

Hi Ana! I can’t even keep track of which TK I have. I bought a bunch from their last sale and they are still packed in the boxes (they are more for warm weather). I love Santal Wood. The 3 ppl I personally know who own it say it is their most complimented perfume. It does lean a bit masculine but even my pickiest friends love the way it smells. Tobacco Maniac is my personal fav tobacco and I just looked on his site. That sale is amazing and I’m considering buying a few more bottles as gifts. 😂🥰

Hi Chris, I am in love with Hundred Silent Ways that fragrance is so feminine and "girlie" to me I need another bottle soon. Atlas Garden is now on my list to purchase when I met up with Giselle she let me sample it and I fell in love NY 5th Ave is another one on my list I have the intense which smells totally different to me. I'm thinking hard about purchasing that Mugler I just added it to cart so we shall see.
I have NY Intense and bought it predominantly for my extremely picky spouse who, when I was spritzing the discovery set, smelled that and ran off with the sample vial. I bought “him” the FB and it’s his most worn fragrance. It’s gorgeous and very “rich and decadent” smelling.
Jessie I don’t think I’ve seen you talk about any Alien flankers. But if you look on my IG page the day I posted it I got lots of comments “oh yes I love this one” and one “oh I HATE that one! Smells like cat pee on me!” So……..you might want to sample if you’re serious. But those discontinued ones just go up in value so I tend to snatch them up. Lol! Same here! You would think ppl in St Louis would be pros but even though it gets cold we don’t get a ton of precipitation. So when a snow even is predicted….everyone rushes to the store to buy milk, eggs and bread. No joke! As if Armageddon has arrived! And this Texan just yawns. 😂😂The key is to get in the right hand lane and drive slowly. The ppl that fly off the roads are bozos who drive the speed limit with ice and snow on the ground. Oy vey! Oh and front wheel drive is a must! We have a Yukon as a third car (it’s really old and has well over 100,000 miles) but when it snows I get in that thing and it doesn’t budge …it stays on the road like a dream. 🥰

I’m on the same train as you. I was really into rice notes and now it is bread notes. By chance, have you tried Jeux de Peau by Serge Lutens or Venenum 32 by L’Artisan Parfumer? Those are next on my list to try.
Hi Marissa!! Jeux de Peau is impossible to find in the old (affordable bottle) and the bell flacon on the website it close to 400$ and I don't even know if its a spray. So that has been my unicorn fragrance for over a year. I keep lurking on Mercari looking for it....but to no avail. Venenum is currently in my basket at Selfridges as it has been sold out at Lucky Scent.....so hopefully it will be mine soon. :) How funny you were into and are into my same notes! I love that! Scent twin! :)

This is so helpful, I’m taking notes for our upcoming winter in May/ June onwards🤩😍👌. I feel like I have too many heavy winter fragrances so breaking it up with some fruity florals will be ideal👌👌. L’interdit Intense is also my favourite and I will be buying a FB in the next two weeks or so😍😍. I also have a sample of Alahine and Guimave de Noel but I haven’t decided - if I will be buying a FB of the latter yet🤷🏽♀️🤷🏽♀️. This has been very enjoyable to watch👌👌. Great video! I was sent a fragrance called black secret from an Arabic house. With the bergamot rose and Caramel it got me thinking of new york 5th Avenue straight away. The Givenchy intense is one of my wife's latest pick ups. Ebk is a brand that I've started to gear more and more about!

I recently purchased a cheapie that I remember smelling probably 15 years ago when I was in school in the local mall - Boucheron Jaipur. It smells sooo good! Kind of reminds me the Pure Poison. Costs £25 for the big size, 15 years ago it was triple that - thats the good thing about the older perfumes

And they had to go and discontinue that spectacular beauty! I like Saphir also but would love for them to bring back Jaipur Saphir! 🙏🏻❤️

Your beautiful, porcelain-skinned visage keeps popping up on my recommended feed so I feel rude not to click (ie; come over to hear your news and have a quick friendly chat with you). I was pleased to see the inclusion of CH's 'Burning Rose' in this list. That entire Confidentials range is a complete sensation, what a triumph. Madam Herrera, if she was the sole Creative Director behind this collection has fantastic judgement and excellent taste. I'd shovel the whole lot into my shopping basket if the word 'penury' wasn't flashing ominously on the horizon, ahaha. But I always recommend Burning Rose for men too as it's the perfect rose-forward fragrance for men who declare they can't wear rose or don't like it. I also wouldn't put it next to Portrait of Lady, Noir de Noir, Rose d'Arabie or any of those typical syrupy rose-oud fragrances; Burning Rose has its own distinct, attractive personality, don't you think? I'm still enjoying Gold Myrrh and Bronze Tonka the most but as I said, the whole crew are a stunning bunch. The other fragrance I have which you showcased is Fragrance du Bois's 'New York 5th Avenue'. That one is a classic syrupy, dark plush rose-oud type of fragrance (don't think Oud is listed but the finished composition is still from that school of things). May I suggest a completely friendly wearable, elegant floral fragrance which one could certainly wear on all occasions or in any climate? Sir Gallahad by Isabey. Have you tried this one yet? I think I've mentioned it in a comment before in the context of it's listed notes and how the discovery of this information quite literally stunned me temporarily. :) Bye Chris. I work 6 days a week but you could never tell by the frequency and indulgent length of my comments, ahaha! One could assume I sit poolside shoving bon bons into my mouth and gossiping on the telephone all afternoon. I wish. ;)

I absolutely love and want Atlas garden as well. I smelled it only one time in Paris, but it smelled so gorgeous that I know I want a bottle one day, same for magnificient Gold from the same line. 🤗🤗
My personnal actual best Winter floral that I can think of is "Love Tuberose" by Amouage. OH MY GOSH, this is just amazing. I am a tuberose lover, and this fragrance is a white flower tuberose hug. There is gardenia and jasmine, then a huge dose of Tuberose mixed with the most GORGEOUS true whipped cream note that I have ever smelt in my life. This is creamy, this is sweet, but we still smell so much the florals that keeps it from being sickly. These flower almost have a vintagy-classy grandma vibe, but mixed with this wonderful whipped cream makes it just magical. It is a touch floral green at the begining, then settles and stay this marvelous sweet vanilla and whipped cream tuberose scent. I live in France, I just paid 18€ for only a sample just to be able to test it because I wanted to smell it so so badly, but Amouage isn't available anywhere unless you live in Paris. And gosh I have no regrets. This is an absolute masterpiece for me. I rarely smelled something so beautiful. And on top of that, it is strong and LASTS all day, without giving a head-ache. This is just absolutely gorgeous, I will try to keep my sample as long as I can because Amouage fragrances are so expensive for the young young woman that I am. 😭😅😍

I just bought my first Amouage (Honor Woman because I got a tester for a good deal) and Love Tuberose is next on my list to buy (if I can get a decent deal). When I was a young woman (ahem) I had to be very careful with my purchases. I was a broke student doing a sabbatical in Washington DC, and once I popped into a restaurant to get dinner and this beautiful woman sitting at the bar smelled fantastic. I got my nerve up and asked her what she was wearing. She said Fleurissimo by Creed. So I saved my money and bought a tester (the only bottle I owned) and literally felt like I was on a cloud. I didn’t feel like a hard working broke student. I felt just as classy as the lady sitting at the bar that day. Haha :D I despise tuberose-forward fragrances but your descriptions are absolutely charming, so much energy and enthusiasm. Since you love bread notes, I think you would love Serge Lutens Jeux de Peau. It smells exactly like walking into a French bakery, and I just can’t get enough of it. I spritz it on my pjs and pillow every night, but I have also worn it out and about. Delicious and comforting. 🥖 🍯

Hey girl! *waves* I hear you about “strange” perfume notes, sometimes they can be too avant-garde for me and other times I crave the unusual. Just purchased Venom of angel last night after going through a sample quite quickly. I kept craving it. Not blind buy safe but if you’re into interesting fragrances perhaps you should sample it!
I’ve had that Parle moi fragrance on my to-buy list for years now but I can’t seem to pull the trigger because from a sample mind you, it only lasted barely 30 minutes but it was gorgeous. Since you have a full bottle, what would you rate the projection and longevity of it? I’m also in the Midwest (southern Kansas) btw :D Oh and one last thing, about the EBK one… I own deep and desire by them which I adore but ruby and vanilla was just okay to me. I only had a sample of it so I didn’t get to test it that many times but I’m wondering if the neroli version might be more my jam. Do you find it very similar to ruby? Is it sweeter? Im just looking for a reason to blind bind it really LOL I love their bottles and you’re spot on about the performance of them, they’re out of this world!
How crazy!! I have been wearing Venom of Angels over the past 2 weeks.......nursing my teeny sample. It is lovely. So the Guimauve de Noel is a very soft fragrance, but it lasts at least 4-6 hours on me. Projection and sillage are on the soft side yes.......so if you are anosmic at 30minutes.......I wouldn't purchase. I am able to smell it for several hours but it will never blow ppl off their feet. LOL. If Ruby N Vanilla was just "ok" to you...then you should save your money because this is 50% of RNVI (which to me is just gorgeous) and 50% Neroli/orange blossom perfume. I wish I didn't love their fragrances so much! Is is a much fresher/floral version of RNVI. Sounds like Deep N Desire is the fragrance for you...it is lovely.
Blondine is a scrubber on me - too beastly. I love the note of butter and am still on the hunt for a good one (I could relate when Jeremy put his nose in a jar of ghee 😂).
Burning Rose - I first bought a decant from scentsplit and it did not register on my skin. I didn’t it could be possible so I bought a bottle direct from Harrods and zero notes came off my skin. It’s was completely odorless.
I think my favorite winter floral is royal crown Oud Jasmine!

Hi Ana! I can’t even keep track of which TK I have. I bought a bunch from their last sale and they are still packed in the boxes (they are more for warm weather). I love Santal Wood. The 3 ppl I personally know who own it say it is their most complimented perfume. It does lean a bit masculine but even my pickiest friends love the way it smells. Tobacco Maniac is my personal fav tobacco and I just looked on his site. That sale is amazing and I’m considering buying a few more bottles as gifts. 😂🥰

Hi Chris, I am in love with Hundred Silent Ways that fragrance is so feminine and "girlie" to me I need another bottle soon. Atlas Garden is now on my list to purchase when I met up with Giselle she let me sample it and I fell in love NY 5th Ave is another one on my list I have the intense which smells totally different to me. I'm thinking hard about purchasing that Mugler I just added it to cart so we shall see.
I have NY Intense and bought it predominantly for my extremely picky spouse who, when I was spritzing the discovery set, smelled that and ran off with the sample vial. I bought “him” the FB and it’s his most worn fragrance. It’s gorgeous and very “rich and decadent” smelling.
Jessie I don’t think I’ve seen you talk about any Alien flankers. But if you look on my IG page the day I posted it I got lots of comments “oh yes I love this one” and one “oh I HATE that one! Smells like cat pee on me!” So……..you might want to sample if you’re serious. But those discontinued ones just go up in value so I tend to snatch them up. Lol! Same here! You would think ppl in St Louis would be pros but even though it gets cold we don’t get a ton of precipitation. So when a snow even is predicted….everyone rushes to the store to buy milk, eggs and bread. No joke! As if Armageddon has arrived! And this Texan just yawns. 😂😂The key is to get in the right hand lane and drive slowly. The ppl that fly off the roads are bozos who drive the speed limit with ice and snow on the ground. Oy vey! Oh and front wheel drive is a must! We have a Yukon as a third car (it’s really old and has well over 100,000 miles) but when it snows I get in that thing and it doesn’t budge …it stays on the road like a dream. 🥰

Thank you my dear friend! Oh I just tore through all of my FdB samples and discovery set and I don’t have Siberian Rose! So looks like I will have to purchase the new Discovery Set to get my nose on that one! I can’t believe your trees are budding. January is typically our coldest month and we are currently getting snow (6 inches expected). It snowed in early May last year so we have a ways to go before we see buds! Crazy weather! I can’t wait to hear about your sniffing session in Spain! Those are so fun! 👏🏻💕

I’m on the same train as you. I was really into rice notes and now it is bread notes. By chance, have you tried Jeux de Peau by Serge Lutens or Venenum 32 by L’Artisan Parfumer? Those are next on my list to try.
Hi Marissa!! Jeux de Peau is impossible to find in the old (affordable bottle) and the bell flacon on the website it close to 400$ and I don't even know if its a spray. So that has been my unicorn fragrance for over a year. I keep lurking on Mercari looking for it....but to no avail. Venenum is currently in my basket at Selfridges as it has been sold out at Lucky Scent.....so hopefully it will be mine soon. :) How funny you were into and are into my same notes! I love that! Scent twin! :)

This is so helpful, I’m taking notes for our upcoming winter in May/ June onwards🤩😍👌. I feel like I have too many heavy winter fragrances so breaking it up with some fruity florals will be ideal👌👌. L’interdit Intense is also my favourite and I will be buying a FB in the next two weeks or so😍😍. I also have a sample of Alahine and Guimave de Noel but I haven’t decided - if I will be buying a FB of the latter yet🤷🏽♀️🤷🏽♀️. This has been very enjoyable to watch👌👌. You look absolutely fabulous🔥💃, stay gorgeous🥰🥰.

When you were talking about the Mugler musk you’d been looking for, I was thinking you probably meant Over the musk and it’s been on my list too! It sounds so amazing 🤍 p.s. You have to watch Ruby Zion’s blind buys of 2021 video- she mentions Muglers Miroir des Envies which she says has a bread note.. (she loves bread and rice notes too…) Well anyway you just have to hear her describe it!! 🥰

Great video! I was sent a fragrance called black secret from an Arabic house. With the bergamot rose and Caramel it got me thinking of new york 5th Avenue straight away. The Givenchy intense is one of my wife's latest pick ups. Ebk is a brand that I've started to gear more and more about!
