He did not say to juice this cold and in the summer, it is even 100 % more tastier.. SO dang good. I had the pleasure of meeting Jay at a seminar in Boston in 1990. Still have the drinking glass I was handed by him for a sample of carrot/apple drink.. I was hooked and got me a juicer. If I remember right, watermelon is good to prevent sunburn..thought he was going to live over 100 yrs old.. but happy he beat cancer many many yrs ago..I will go double check now..brb..

I am loving watermelon juiced with half a lemon. Yields around 16-20oz and is the best lemonade I've ever had. Bless you, Jay.

Here in Thailand they have watermelons that have skin that’s is so dark green, it is closer to black. I save the skin until I have enough to make a 500ml juice. You would swear the juice is from leafy greens, incredible, delicious and your body feels amazing🙏

Folks, you can use Jay's formula to wash fruits/vegetables that are not organic. 4 Tbls of salt, juice of 1/2 a lemon in to a sink full of water. Do a search for it online for greater detail.

Organic watermelons are getting cheaper, but are still expensive. I wash my non-organic melon VERY WELL and then trim just the green off and keep the red and the white part. Through the juicer and drink right away. Watermelon juice just doesn't keep long at all.

Btw organic vegetables and fruits are really expensive and difficult to find in my town, the ones that I will getting in summer time will probably not be organic melons.
