I’m beyond words how even with replay James wasn’t given the receiving touchdown or the following rush attempt for the TD.
The refa seemed like they were too far away from the ball to be able to see it clearly. The NFL has this problem too with a dog pile in the middle of the scrum.
The lack of a goal line camera was just ridiculous...FOX should know better!

Some of what you're seeing is long season management there. Oregon is in the B1G -- they don't need style points, and if you're playing a conference title game and possibly multiple games in the playoff, you have to kind of look at the bigger picture in terms of health.
Oregon could have hung multiple additional TDs on them.

If you have the B1G network access and can record it ; look for a show called - B1G FootBall in 60 ( Mins ). Each conforence has their own ( FootBall ) in 60. The show's are a very editied version of the game. Everything that add's unwnated time is removed and you get to watch the best of the game in 60 mins. Maybe try to find it on your local " Cable " / Content provider and set up a series recording of your favorite team. Being a Washington Husky fan myself - I had a sereis recording for the Huskies when they were in the PAC-12 and I set-up a new series recorings for the Huskies as a B1G team. :) Peace - Take Care and Blessings.

@@marktrail8624 if his appendix didn't burst, it would be laparoscopic surgery, which is far less invasive. It's outpatient surgery, and recovery is far less time. He'll likely be back in a couple weeks.

@@MashaRistova a lot of fans came from all over the place. Fans came from Kentucky, Pennsylvania, Indiana, and I flew out from Oregon. It was a good time to see how many ducks were at this blowout game. Lol

@@LockedOnOregonDucks the consistency of these bad calls would lead me to believe that like the pac 12 the big 10 refs/conference wants to keep small market oregon in its place.
Purdue is having a rough year at yet they still had a sold out stadium that was loud in the first half. Playing in environments like that should help Oregon later in the year and quite frankly something you wouldn't see very often in the Pac 12. Salute to the Purdue fans for showing up for a team that stinks this year

Yeah that was an impressive crowd but considering they were playing #2, there were some schools in the PAC that would also pack their stadium if only for the chance to knock off a top team.

Oregon offensive let off the gas after the first. Great defense throughout. Great stadium and fans at Purdue. The team is going to learn from these kinds of games. Oregon once upon a time was less than average for decades.

He might be out until the playoffs. I had mine out at 11 playing basketball and I couldn't play due to spasm attacks. It don't feel good.😅

yep - Dan said the same thing in his post game remarks - just need to tackle a bit better w/o needing it to be an intense BIG game like last week...it was a solid game by the number 2 team in the country and got a lot of young guys in while resting key guys for the home stretch starting with B2B games vs currently ranked teams...I'm looking forward to seeing who comes out on top tomorrow when Michigan plays @Illinois as a 3.5 pt favorite...good game to watch for scouting purposes especially knowing Ducks took care of business Friday night! Relax and watch things play out - including undefeated Indy hosting Nebraska...
Through 7 games ducks have 26 points in the third quarter (3 if you only count conference games). Thats a problem.

Defense looks really good , Gabrielle is getting better still throwing some questionable throws , and needs to see the entire field better , had two wide open receivers on two different occasions, if he wants to play on Sunday needs to improve in these areas

@@LockedOnOregonDucks and that’s why on the blowouts they are having Novosad come in, that way if Dillon gets hurt short term, Moore could play 2-3 games and still keep the redshirt. I never took Novosad being in over Moore as a sign he’s second string. Though I will say Novosad throws a very pretty ball and seems to be a heady player.
Not sure if we can hold onto it forever but there's a real shot to be ranked 1 for the first time since 2013

Mailbag: is it time to admit that although i loved the pac 12 that the move to the big 10 has made this season so much more interesting and fun ? We would be playing cal right now and our biggest game would have been boise state. Just the look ahead seeing michigan and wisconsen on the schedule instead of cal is pretty cool. What a fun season..Ya hate to see it with pac 12..but im glad this happened...i said it!

Not only did he butcher Jeremiah's last name, but Jeremiah doesn't even play defense! he had the #11s mixed up. It was Kam Alexander who got the INT. And what did he mean by "again" It was Kam's first INT of the season lol.

It seems there were lapses in run pursuit and containment when Purdue stretched horizontally.
Tacklers were caught bunched up with too many on the outside allowing the runner to cut inside through gaps.
Don't get me wrong, the defense did their job considering Purdue had a goose egg, but I really felt like the tackling was sloppy and frequently ineffective. Specially, it was most glaring in Purdue's running game and a few trying to tackle the qb. It extended drives and gave up unnecessary yards. The defense did great at being in position to get the tackle, but there were too many times that the first guy failed to bring down the runner despite being at the right place quickly. It was very frustrating seeing them get past the blocks and be in position to stop the runner at or behind the line, but they'd get a positive gain out of the play anyway. It certainly wasn't all the time as the D definitely had some great tackles as well, so they do know how to tackle, but I'd love to see more consistency from Oregon. Maybe a few extra tackling drills?

CBS's presentation >>> FOX. Been saying it for years now. It's part of why the SEC's football appeal and quality shot through the roof the last 2 decades. Still have yet to watch a game with the Ducks on CBS and Brad Nessler on the call like the old days. That network has the pylon cams and goaline shots you're looking for. And the CBS camera crew always does a great job getting close up shots of the players. They have great ariel shots of the field play I've noticed throughout the years.

Maybe it's time for a mid-season evaluation? Look at where the ducks were at week zero and now. Take a look at what was expected of the teams on the schedule week zero compared to now. Then, the team breakdown of remaining teams on schedule. I don't know. It just seems like a lot has changed. Mainly, the teams on the schedule perceived then to what they are now.

The thing about the offense is this.. they just leave too many points off the board. Nothing is necessarily wrong with the offense. I'm just worried when we face better teams in the playoff or what have you.. we could lose a game where we look back and say they left 14 points off the board.

What I am noticing... Listening and watching Oregon soccer volleyball and football.. It seems to me that these broadcasters are very bias to propping up the original big 10 teams while making little jabs quirks and unnecessary comments towards Oregon because it seems they don't like the thought Oregon can be dominate in the B1G conference immediately..

Good game not great, d needs to find another gear to shut down a good running attack but our secondary is as strong as i can remember. Will Stein and Lanning both struggle calling a consistent game both struggle with making the right call at the right time. Not going for it on forth and 2 was head scratching cause we didn't need a long field goal try we needed to run out the clock. Gabriel takes to long get through his progression he rarely ever sees the 3 route. We got good p,ayers. Go Ducks
