Also,You should have said about how dangerous mosquito coils are for lungs. It's not mainly because of it's poisonous but for the dust particles it generates which is way more dangerous than a cigarette.

The only relevant use of mosquitoes is that they can store blood, which can be used to derive the DNA just like it was shown in the Jurassic Park movie where the blood was trapped in an Amber rock.
Killing off specific species of mosquitoes that are only present in human settlements won't affect the ecology much. They are dependent on humans for their survival and their only purpose is biting humans. I agree that wild species of mosquitoes should be preserved at all costs.

Don't agree completely with you on this Dhruv, it's true that we currently don't fully understand what will the consequences be of eliminating mosquitoes on the food web (especially regarding pollination) but there is broad consensus in the field that the pros would heavily outweigh the cons and thus methods ranging from gene drives to bacteria infusion are being tried out to eliminate specific (& at times all) species of mosquitoes in different parts of the world.
I love my plants, but hate mosquitoes. I have fenced my windows and doors with mesh, I sincerely thank my neighbors for their contribution to the well being of my garden 😂

Don't agree completely with you on this Dhruv, it's true that we currently don't fully understand what will the consequences be of eliminating mosquitoes on the food web (especially regarding pollination) but there is broad consensus in the field that the pros would heavily outweigh the cons and thus methods ranging from gene drives to bacteria infusion are being tried out to eliminate specific (& at times all) species of mosquitoes in different parts of the world.
Eliminating all the species of mos i don't think that's a good idea that different part of the world should rethink before doing it.
