Agree with the rest of the comments; literbikes have become way too track focused & expensive to be used and enjoyed thoroughly on the road. Meanwhile, there is a shortage of options for those of us who do want fully faired sportbikes that are also realistic and usable on the road. Off the top of my head, I can only think of the Ducati SuperSport, Honda CBR650R, and the upcoming Aprilia RS660 in that small segment. Ninja 1000SX? Too heavy. Ninja 650? Too soft. Again, the age old question; where are the fully faired MT-09s, Z900s, and Street Triple 765s? There needs to be more road friendly, fully faired sportbike options for people who don't want neither the upright, beaked, faux supermoto/adventure bikes nor the ridiculous hypernakeds with zero wind protection...

With the Super Naked class so full of product offerings, its hard to imagine needing an R1M or CBR 1000 as a street bike. Just sayin....
Back in 2015 since the release of the new r1 the engine felt very peaky and under 8 rpm it felt like 600cc but above it blew anything with it's peak power which make it pretty lame for th street because most of the time you feel no power and you had to work for it. After years past yamaha perfected the bike made it smoother and much more balanced. Now days r1's are torquey and can easily be ridden on the street engine wise. It's great when you chilling on the street but that's not the characteristics i seek in the superbike. Now i bought 2020 r1 and i forgot about the s1000rr the r1 is so much more fan to ride.
Honda made no mistake in marketing there new blade for track use. And it does that perfect. Also it shits all over the Yamaha in looks, and sound. It's designed to win races if you want a road bike that has super sport performance get a streetfighter/naked. Most of them have the same motor re tuned for better road manners and a more relaxed riding position, with the same chassis brakes and suspension.
Its definitely one of the best bikes in the world. Im a Honda guy but im also a Yamaha guy lol. I have both a fireblade and an r1 in my garage. I love them both but i prefer my fireblade.
The US citizens still have the option to choose between 2019 Blade and 2020 Blade. The 19 model is a great supersport for the street whilst 2020 is just as they say, "born to race."😃
2017-2019 one of the worst fireblades models i ever ridden and superbikes in general it feels gutless down low and without too much peak power as well. Also the gear box is pretty lame too. Way too much false neutrals and some times i had the gears jumps from 5 to 4 for no reason at all. The electronics are also the worse i've ever experience on a modern superbike it feels like something from 2012 era. Way to intrusive i just switch them off. I appreciate the classic superbike scream of the Blade, but in terms of actual good noise, my vote goes to the Yamaha all day. Wish Honda would have developed a V4 for the new bike...
Fireblade sounds way better! What about a comparison between a few era's of Firebkades. So take a 2005, 2010, 2015 and 2020 on track and show how the bike has progressed over the years?
And Guys r1m is the smoothest bike and lightest 1000cc sport bike because of its aredinamic design empressive yamaha and the looms of it are goddam killer and the sound of it are just amazing #WER1
Don't forget... On US market the new CBR is restricted to 186hp. Real number on rear wheel....around 150hp.For $28,500. not the best deal... Ducati, and BMW are winners here,
Sp has the same engine as regular Fireblade,....always had.Only 2017 Cbr 1000rr SP2 had minor changes. Regular new Fireblade doesn't exist on US market yet. On other markets like in Europe,y Honda is selling both versions regular and SP. On US market SP is heavily restricted. Read latest Cycle World articles about it.Also 2017,18,19 has the same bhp on both versions. So SP in restricted version still needs some work, ecu flash, etc to be able unleash the full potential of the bike. If Ducati sells non restricted motorcycles on US market, what kind of excuse Honda has? Still Sp is a wonderful, and beautiful bike! Whoever rode Sp version knows what I'm talking about.
@arborcidal maniac Yes it is new engine, and it's restricted on US market. Where did you get those hp numbers from? Most likely the engine is capable make almost 200 on rear wheel, but because of certain regulations is restricted. Sad but true!...
R1M any day... Honda would have died by now if there was no Marq Marquez. HONDA has not won any championship from old age, but Yamaha is still leading most championships And Yamaha is pocket friendly too "YAMAHA REVS UR HEART"
When I win the lottery I will buy the old cbr 1000 fireblade with the eagle eye like head light without a doubt, I think the model was 2008/2013 Fireblade
I'm a Honda guy and still almost bought the Yamaha because that sound is pure magic! I've still got a highly (HRC goodies) modified RVT1000R SP2 because it sounds like nothing else. The Yamaha sounds so friggin good tho. HRC wins my vote almost always.

HONDA CBR 1000RRR ARE VERY NICE BIKE TO AND YAMAHA R1 ARE GOOD BIKE TO ILIKE THEM BOTH BUT THERE IS SOMETHING IN THE R1 THAT I ALWAYS LIKE AND FROM THE BEGINNER I ALWAYS PICK THE BEST OF THE BEAST AND THATS TH R1 /R1M #WER1
Yeahh man😊🤩😊
Sound exhaust R1M like YZR-M1 that use same firing order crossplan
And Neither of them win races....Lol.
BMW S 1000 RR vs fireblade CBR1000RR R vs Ducati
I have the 2018 CBR1000RR and is fun for everyday used. Saying that the CBR600RR, CBR650R and GSXR750 are also great options in my opinion.
R1m look like a perfect riding machine....., 😍
Yeah, as if others look like perfect swimming machine.
HONDA CBR 1000 RR-R : Hey Guys I drive this bike
YAMAHA R1M : Hey Guys this bike drives me
For me it's YAMAHA any day, anywhere
Choose yours now!!
For me I’m taking the R1M 💯
I think the Honda will have half a second over the Yamaha.
HONDA CBR 1000 RRR SP ALL THE WAY
Sounds great, more horse power ,better handling and years of reputation yes , indeed fireblade,
Honda all day everyday!
I thought the R1M was a cross-plane. I believe he said that both use an inline-4
Definately it's inline 4 but rhe crankshafts are arranged in a crossplane way .
The cylinders are still inline 4. Crossplane has do do with firing order...
@@10daysAgo yeah realized that after the fact lol. Shoulda known.
vote for firebladeRRR
R1M is the best among the rest!
It’s weak! It can’t even beat a low-tech ZX10R 🙄
@@huypham2911 try to respect other people choices lol, not everyone loved you bike brands, people have their own brands bike opinion, lol think before you reply idiot
For me is the Honda refinement and reliability
FIREBLADE MY DREAM BIKE😍😍❤️❤️❤️
So tables have turned, the older cbr1000rr used to be the nicer bikes out of the two to be ridden while the r1 was more track focused, now going off this the r1 is the more economically friendly
That's a really good idea!
2020 Yamaha R1 already proved her agility over 2020 Honda fireblade in the race track of Philip Island. So I am always be with Yamaha garage.
Sound alone? The R1M is just marvelous ❤️.
FAN CBR1000RR
PUT YOUR HAND UP!!!!♥️♥️♥️
And Guys r1m is the smoothest bike and lightest 1000cc sport bike because of its aredinamic design empressive yamaha and the looms of it are goddam killer and the sound of it are just amazing #WER1
I think Honda came on the top beats the Yamaha R1 -M but that's only my opinion.....
Honda fireblade sounds and look way better. welcome back Honda
R1 looks so beastly
I prefer to choose honda because of better sound and better style. But R1 is awesome, too.
Don't forget...
On US market the new CBR is restricted to 186hp.
Real number on rear wheel....around 150hp.For $28,500. not the best deal...
Ducati, and BMW are winners here,
Where'd you get that info? First I've heard of it being restricted...
Everyone flashes their new bikes anyway.. that wont be a issue.
Ew bmw
@arborcidal maniac
Yes it is new engine, and it's restricted on US market.
Where did you get those hp numbers from?
Most likely the engine is capable make almost 200 on rear wheel, but because of certain regulations is restricted.
Sad but true!...
Honda CBR 1000RRR ❤️👍
Best performance 👍
I've always had a Fireblade in the garage and I'll add this to the lot but I wouldn't mind throwing an R1M in the middle of it all.
R1M any day...
Honda would have died by now if there was no Marq Marquez.
HONDA has not won any championship from old age, but Yamaha is still leading most championships
And Yamaha is pocket friendly too
"YAMAHA REVS UR HEART"
When I win the lottery I will buy the old cbr 1000 fireblade with the eagle eye like head light without a doubt, I think the model was 2008/2013 Fireblade
I'm a Honda guy and still almost bought the Yamaha because that sound is pure magic! I've still got a highly (HRC goodies) modified RVT1000R SP2 because it sounds like nothing else. The Yamaha sounds so friggin good tho. HRC wins my vote almost always.
Wild Horse R1 always the BEST!!!!!
Honda CBR 1000RR -R Fireblade SP 4th gear redline 300kmph
Cbr 1000rr r👍
pls make a practical power comparison on them sir
like a drag race or something
How many R do you have?
Honda:- Yes
The best bikes together...so awesomeee!
R1M still the best dominate in wsbk 2020
Are you on drugs? Kawasaki dominates wsbk, Honda hasn't won since almost forever!
@@billh4301 what i say R1m dominate.idont say first champion..but more better than honda..
@@wijayaputra9348 but in motogp Honda is way better than all manufacturers
@Elanz Official but yamaha dominate in suzuka 8 hours
@@sayemumhasan5868 THE YAMAHA IS WAY BETTER I THINK EVERYBODY KNOWS THAT
R1M so beautyfull bike and the sound i love it ❤️
