Ricky Ricardo gorilla manor has more bangers, hummingbird their best album but gorilla manor resonated with more fans especially if they’ve been there since the beginning
@@cristianmontoya1195 I very much appreciate Hummingbird but I've never loved it. Gorilla lives on in my mind for eternity. All their albums have had something to love - but the debut was fire in a bottle.

Local Natives never disappoints with new music, been a fan since 2011 and I’m still in love with every album. Can’t wait to see you guys in concert again!
Loved Gorilla Manor and Hummingbird was my absolute favorite but I fell off when Sunlit Youth came around. The vibe felt really wrong to me, the production was poppier and that didn't sit right. But this - this is great. Looking forward to more!
You know, I'm right there with you. Their first two albums are certainly great records for a young group of indie rockers. And Sunlit Youth WAS definitely a pop album right from the start with the noticeable electronic elements. But, the more I spun that album the more I saw their unique approach to the conventional pop elements. That track Masters for example has killer ending and other songs have noticeable moments that would easily distinguish itself from most indie groups turned pop stars i.e Portugal the man, Dredg. It's nice to see these kids experiment.

My first Valentines Day gift to him was tickets to your show in Baton Rouge when Moses Sumney opened for you...great choice with that opening act, by the way. I’ve told so many people that Sunlit Youth will be THE masterpiece of the 2010’s, but here you go again! Thanks so much for all your time and effort and heart that you put into your albums. Really my dudes, it shows.
My wife and I live in Baton Rouge and we were there at the Varsity. I was a long time fan and she didn't know who they were...since then she's been in love and their music has scored some of our greatest memories. We'll be travelling from BR to Dallas to see them in June also! CAN NOT WAIT
