One of the many reasons I love Akira is that she doesn't put on that high-pitched voice that many Japanese girls use, and she also doesn't try to make her voice overly low-pitched in hopes of sounding like a man. I'm confused as to why everyone is unsure about her gender. I didn't even know she cross dressed until I read the comments. To me, the name AKIRA sounds very feminine so I automatically assumed she was female, that and her voice. It turns out I was right, but even after watching this video I never once considered her being a male.
