These are some of my favorite types of videos. You and that whole crew are simply amazing problem solvers… and for you to be able to get all those cool camera angles/shots of everyone doing their specific task throughout was super cool! Hands down the best farming channel on UA-cam.
Started picking cotton in N.E. Arkansas the last week in Sept.2023. All our crops looked great this year, but they'll look better in the bins and gins. Have a great harvest!!!
It never ceases to amaze me how much repair/fix/maintain hours are required to run your farms. And, mostly, y’all do it all yourselves. Very impressive and exemplifies a “can do” attitude. Excellent! Tell Granny hello.
The shaft that came out of the tube is the diameter you need to repair the auger. Team work is another way of saying farm work and you have to be engineers, electricians, plumbers, welders, mechanics, vets, physicians & in this case videographers. Good job everyone.
I remember those days when I worked at ADM corn plant at Clinton, IA. We had to repair conveyor gudgeon shafts a lot along with bucket elevators and their drive units. It wasn't fun in the middle of the night, snow blown, and ice everywhere that is when they usually broke down. You are correct Daniel, that is hard work, and you all did great.
We came to Perdido Key, FL from far western KY for fall break…….I synced my UA-cam to the condo tv so I could watch some TRF on the big screen! Lots of cotton looking about ready and a little already been picked on our drive down through TN, MS, AL, and FL.
Another great video. You are my favorite farming channel to watch. Just a tip when welding that auger with the sleeve in it. When you do that leave yourself about a 1/8" to 3/16" gap in between the tubes that way you can be sure you weld the tube to the sleeve so it will a lot stronger. You can also drill some holes and plug weld the tube to the sleeve. Good work to you your dad and the crew. You have a good bunch of guys working for you. Keep up the good work..
Excellent job TRF crew, felt like we were right there with ya Daniel. Appreciate your taking time to film a challenging job like that. Best thing is no pinched, cut or broken fingers, you guys rock! Granny should bake y’all a pie for such a good job! 😂 Stay safe down there!
We do appreciate your hard work to produce these videos,Daniel. Sorry to reply so slow. I've been busy with my own harvesting this Fall. Thanks again!!
I have the natural mechanical ability of a yellow squash... therefore, I find the videos of y'all working as a team, figuring out how to get something fixed, getting the work done and then it works as intended! What talent and problem solving skills. Great teamwork and thanks for all the hard camera work. Y'alls farming videos are awesome!
I have a lot of respect for your Dad , a very hard working Boss man . Never afraid to get dirty and work with the guys. Not all farms enjoy that kind of Boss man . ONE OF THE GUYS !!
Great video it’s something different that’s what is good about your videos you show the breakdowns and repairs and everyone working together good job and glad you got the dryer going!!!
Hi Daniel, greetings from Heathcote Victoria Australia. So glad I found these videos, thoroughly enjoying them. You have an amazing crew with everyone working together so well. Look forward to seeing to seeing more videos. Regards Ross Loney.
Good morning Daniel your video skills and knowledge of Direction are at a whole another level over the last couple years! This production was like we were right there and really didn't feel like a fish-mash of shots. Great job And like our grandfathers would have said you got your degree on the job!
The camera work was good, you gotta do what ya gotta do to make it all work. the videos where yall hard at it and not much time for the camera are some of the best ones. Makes things more real
Daniel, I just love your dad. Soak up all the knowledge you can from him. I would love to meet you and him sometime, live just down the road. Enjoy the channel.
Well that wasn't too bad - let's go defoliate some cotton now! Whew..... you guys WORKed for your supper on that job!! Thanks so much for your effort on the filming too, Daniel.
That deserves an Oscar!! Great video and awesome team work. We were worn out after watching that. 😂 It was intense at spots!! These videos remind me of my dad and uncle on the farm in Scottsboro, AL. Keep them coming!!
Great video! Working on long augers like that is tough work. But good you had lots of help and got it done. Moving grain again! That’s the name of the game.
Great video Daniel, that dryer needs a new configuration for when something breaks its a little easier to repair. I know that's easy for me to say .I wanted to reach through the video and hold something😅😅
Really enjoyed the video. I appreciate all the camera work. I was wondering how much grain will your bin and shed hold? Seeing you guys working under it really gives it some scale
When you went to get your dad's vice grip from his pick up, I was waiting for your right hand picking up the vice grips and your left hand picking up one of your tools with associated "That's were it went".
Thank you Daniel. I enjoyed the video. Dad was a wonder: climbing ladders, figuring out the next step, laying down on the dirty concrete to tighten nuts. My hat is off to you, Dad. And another tip of the cap to you Daniel, getting shots to keep the action together.
Fixing things are some of my favorite videos but dang Daniel, y'all have had some serious issues with that long old auger in the past. Maybe it's time to go to an elevator. Just a thought.
Nice having all them hands available, imagine doing this with two people :D You really captured a nice video of the daily struggles on a farm. Augers are very nice, until they stop working.
Hands down the best row crop farming channel out there. Raw southern old school farming.

I really liked the "Ease it Down" The multiple hundred pound end of the auger comes down with a clang. Easier said than done!

Nice having all them hands available, imagine doing this with two people :D You really captured a nice video of the daily struggles on a farm. Augers are very nice, until they stop working.
Ours stopped last week🤦🏻♂️😂
Great job
That's a good candidate for a multi piece auger. Next time just smash that bearing with a hammer then cut the remainder off at shop.
Good job guys
Good one.
