I am a die hard, life long metal guy and even I freely admit Depeche Mode's "Violator" is one of the best albums ever made. Dated a girl who was a huge fan of theirs. Had every album and wore a t-shirt. She got tickets to a Depeche Mode show and we went. I didn't know what to expect as shows for bands like this are a bit outside of my wheelhouse. I was blown away. Like jaw on the floor in awe. They killed it, had the place in the palm of their hand. 12,000 people singing EVERY word of every song in unison. And WAY more energy than you'd think. I remember being as exhausted as I was at the end of a Slayer show seeing them.
Also, and a small thing that's giving me a bit of nostalgia and making me enjoy this reaction just a little bit more. The girl I dated back in those days wore the same style hat that Lex is wearing. Only her hat was all blue.
When was that gig and what is she up to these days?
@@jeshkam Ha! A little later than you may think. This was around 2000. We had just graduated High School. Poe was the opener and even she was really good. Had a cordless microphone and was singing in the audience. Depeche Mode was unbelievable. I'll never get the sight and feeling of that many people all at once singing "All I ever wanted! All I ever needed is here in my arms! Words are very unnecessary! They can only do harm!"
As for her she's married with a kid who is nearly as old as we were when we went to that show. We're still good friends and still talk on a regular basis.
@@chaospoet Yeah, I somehow thought it could be in the late 80s or early 90s. Very often I'm wishing I had a time machine and could go back in time and attend the legendary Rose Bowl gig. But I was only 9 when it happened and living in the Eastern Bloc lol Anyway, nice you two stay in touch with each other. Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year to you!
What year was this?
@@PersonalVx I can't remember the date exactly but around 2000, maybe early summer of 2001. I know it was before 9/11 but I can't remember if it was a few months or a year before then.
Depeche Mode is my all time favorite band. “People are People” and “Enjoy the Silence” are both great mainstream hits. They have tons of other great songs too.
Clean👍
Behind the wheel... man those club mixes were bad ass.
"People are People" was the song that introduced me to DM back in 1985 and "Enjoy the Silence" is my favorite DM song ever. And yes, they are only the tip of the iceberg. So many great singles and so many great, underappreciated songs that weren't singles and most people will never have the pleasure of hearing.
@@ay_ay_ron2112 Clean...what a song. Entire Violator Album is fire
** and "little 15"
This song was written when he was recovering from addiction and reflects his relationship with his sober coach. This whole album is a masterpiece
💯%
That album was faith and devotion when he had addiction, not violator
@@nealgarland4578 right- SOFAD was when this video was filmed. This was actually during his huge drug phase. Not sure what the previous poster is referring to. Violator has nothing to do with Dave’s drug addiction. Also, Martin wrote all the songs during the Violator era with most of the music composition work by Alan Wilder.
Utter BS. Martin L. Gore wrote this song, not Dave and this is actually about the relationship between Elvis and Priscilla Presley.
Martin Gore actually said it was inspired by 'Elvis and Me' and how Priscilla worshipped Elvis like her God. And that lots of relationships are like that where that one person is just over idolized and it brings an unbalance to the relationship.
@plainsong76 This was from Violator in '89 and SOFAD came after the band took a 2 year break after the Violator tours were done. David (the lead singer) did get addicted to heroine during that time as he moved to LA and hung out with Sound Garden and some other grunge bands. But ya, he didn't go full on addict until after Violator.
The entire Violater (1990) album is awesome, there are plenty more to dive into if you guys want to!
I am dropping HALO in my sets now - freaking love that song
If they had the time they should check out the WHOLE "Black Celebration" album.
@@monkeysuncle2816 YES!!
I totally agree!
My favorite songs by them are "Enjoy The Silence" and "Policy of Truth". This band reminds me of the Pet Shop Boys that had a good song called "West End Girls".
Also "Behind the Wheel" which led to my discovering them.
i like "people are people"
Strange Love and Never Let me down again was my introduction to Depeche Mode. Then I heard Behind the Wheel on the radio while driving down the Pacific Coast highway, and became a life long fan.
@Bucktooth Bucky I could only enjoy the mixed versions of Pet Shop Boys songs when they played them in clubs. West End Girls was also played to death on local radio. I didn't like DMs people are people for the exact same reason when it first came out.
Opportunities was a banger by pet shop boys
"Enjoy the Silence" and "Policy of Truth"...two of my favorite songs by them...but I like the whole Violator album.
I used to think Violator was a greatest hits album it had so much great stuff on it :)
@@MusicMissionary There is a line of 3 albums - Music for Masses, Violator and Songs of Faith and Devotion. But yes, the best is Policy of Truth.
an epic album
Policy of truth, i relate to those lyrics so much.
Depeche Mode are a super huge group from England. The peak of there fame was late 80's to mid 90's still they fill out stadiums on there tours the latest being in 2018. I recommend trying " Enjoy The Silence" , : Behind The Wheel" or : Never Let Me Down Again". The song People Are People is the song that pushed this band into superstardom in the mid 80's.. This song has been covered by so many artists Marilyn Manson , Kanye West < Hillary Duff. DM has often been referred to the godfathers of electronic music like Techno, House
You're right, still putting on great shows & filling arenas. That last one ran through Summer of '18
There were the first concert i attended in my life, in Brighton in 1985 or 1986. A great souvenir.
Saw them live at their peek, nothing special live but then I've seen over 300 concerts.
"DM has often been referred to the godfathers of electronic music like Techno, House" - Never heard that about DM. Kraftwerk? Yes. DM? No.
@@Vectrex-xd6qi "Gary Numan has entered the conversation" Yeah Kraftwerk are probably the godfathers as they predate Numan but Numan took it to an entire new level. Without either of them electronic music wouldn't have reached the highs it did.
"Industrial", you hit it on the head. Depeche Mode is an "experience".
They once made a whole album with sampled industrial sounds from warehouses and construction.
True, but they have changed over the years. Their first album was pure synth-pop. In 1993 they had a CD called Songs of Faith and Devotion. Most of it sounded like gospel music.
Not industrial at all. Synth wave yes, industrial no. Not heavy enough.
@@nwebster2012 Not talking about the shitty industrial genre. I'm talking about the sound of "some great reward" and "Construction time again", which was recorded with industrial/metal samples, and in Martin Gore's own words "has an industrial sound to it". Depeche Mode is not synth wave, as that is a recent genre.
Yes.
The album is called Some Great Reward.
I wish people would react to early ( John Foxx) Ultravox. Such an inspiration to so many bands . Gary Newman went to all their early concerts and it shaped - inspired his music
“Never Let Me Down Again”, “Stripped”, “Somebody” & “Blasphemous Rumours” are some of my Favourite. You should listen to the 101 Concert from 1988! It is so well produced, it just adds to their already amazing songs. ❤️
Blasphemous rumours has to be my favourite DM song
yes yes yes I could not agree more except blasphemous rumors didnt age that well for me but that concert, wow!
My favorite band . Huge rabbithole 40 years of great music.
I like how Lex mentions that they sound 'industrial'. They are well known for this and their whole 'Construction Time Again' album was them experimenting with these industrial sounds.
I was a stripper when I was young and hot to make ends meet and this song was one of my favs to dance to because that stomping beat made me feel powerful, yet with empathy because of the lyrics.
Depeche Modes two main lyrical themes have been religion, sex, and social commentary. For more great Depeche Mode songs I suggest:
Enjoy the Silence,
Behind the Wheel (album version),
Strangelove (album version),
Never Let me Down,
Policy of Truth, Halo,
People Are People,
Master and Servant,
Somebody,
Blasphemous Rumors,
Walking in my shoes,
Condemnation,
...ah, what the heck, all of them. :)
Great list bud
How could you forget World in my eyes? That’s my favorite one by them.
Excellent list. I would add Stripped.
Or better yet- 101 in its entirety!
Wait. That's three lol
What’s up my peeps! I was obsessed by this band in high school. The Cure, New Order and The Smiths would be good to checkout too.
Same! 🖤
How Soon is Now... Is the one of the best songs ever written and I have never seen a reaction to it. Flabbergasted!
Depeche Mode was huge in the alternative dance clubs in the 80s and 90s. Always guaranteed to hear the DJ play 4 or 5 banger tunes from them in a night. Just imagine dancing to this at 2am with strobe lights, smoke, and a crowded dancefloor 🖤🖤🖤
I love the way both of you vibed to this song, their discography spans decades from early 80s to the present , their sound is ever changing, an awesome rabbit hole for you !
Depeche Mode had so many great songs in the 80s. "Question of time", "People are people", "Master and servant", "Shake the disease" or "You just cant get enough" to name just a view.
I would add "Little 15", "Question of lust", "Blasphemous rumours".
I would like to add "Everything Counts".
Great songs in the 90's too!
I would also add: see you, behind the will and fly on the windscreen
"Somebody"
According to the artist them selves this song is about having someone to call when you are in need, someone who always is there for you and helps you through things. The song also is about you being someone else's personal Jesus when they need you as well.
Also fun fact. Marilyn Manson did a cover version of this song.
Johnny Cash covered this also.
The song title is a direct quote from Priscilla Presleys biography where she talks about Elvis being her mentor and rock. The one she could always rely on. Her own "personal Jesus" as she wrote.
I mistaken thought it was a cynical commentary on tele evangelism in the 80's where Jesus was being peddled on tv. People would call in to make donations for their personal salvation to these religious charlatans
@@petercofrancesco9812 That is an interesting take on the song. I never thought about it like that but looking back I could see myself, in the 80's, believing that was what the song was about.
Lady definitely has a point though, and back then they always had to hide the true meaning, 🤔 except Frankie!!!
I absolutely LOVE listening to you two hash out what's going on in the song. Thanks for your work and Happy New Year!
Once again, Lex is astounding! How does she do this? She hears Marilyn Manson (who covered this song) and Nine Inch Nails and industrial rock, and Depeche Mode are basically a UK version of that, or at least some of the time. Their singer also famously has struggled with heroin addiction, so she gleaned that too. I've been a massive music fan for longer than I can remember, and I don't think I've ever known someone who could intuit so much from a first listen of any specific song.
The two best analyses of this i have heard :
1. it is about televangelism.
2. It is about finding peace by becoming submissive to someone else. D/S vibes.
It's about phone sex. The old premium rate call lines.
Martin Gore has said it was after reading Priscilla Presley's Biography that it was about her seeing Elvis as her Personal Jesus..that was the germ of the idea, but televangelism played a part as well .
@@paulsmith2516 That's what I always thought it was about. "Reach out and touch someone" was an AT&T slogan at the time. A play on those words here.
@@norwegianblue2017 "Reach out, touch faith" is also a super sarcastic line.
its almost a play on the "reach out and touch someone", which I believe was an old AT &T commercial....like pick up the phone and get "someone who cares" on the other end...maybe televangelists or faith type hotlines???
@Brad & Lex
It was driving me crazy in the chat trying to tell you what this was REALLY about. 😂
He explained: “It's a song about being a Jesus for somebody else, someone to give you hope and care.
Depeche Mode
Phew, I feel better now. 🤣
They don't care, gotta pump out those reactions.
@@WookieWarriorz 50 plus comments per minute during the stream, it's difficult to keep up with the incoming barrage of commentary from the gallery. They do the best they can and are more interesting than most tubers
@@davidcox4981 I agree with you!!
Not dissing them. I LOVE them!
So glad you did this song. Depeche Mode is my favorite! I've seen them perform in concert twice. LOVE them!!!
I always love how shook Brad seems to these songs; new to him, while Lex just embraces the feel of them. A nice dichotomy.
Walking in my shoes and Never let me down again, two of his best songs.
Also don't miss his music videos are fucking great.
Love Depeche, lots of great songs which I'm sure people will mention. One of my favorites is Blasphemous Rumors.
That song is amazing...
I'm from the UK and this was all my friends and I listened to back in the 80's and 90's... GREAT SOUND!! A song about "salvation on the phone" someone to talk to about your troubles.. A personal saviour for YOU!!
Yes!!!! Its about time you guys do this group. Luv there music.
The songs I love from them are Walking In My Shoes, People are People, Enjoy The Silence, and Condemnation
Finally!!
One of my fav bands
I'm waiting for that
My recomendaitions:
"Enjoy the silence"
"Policy of truth"
"World in my eyes"
"People are people"
"Question of time"
"Strangelove"
"Never let me down again"
"Its No good" "Useless"
"walking in my shoes", "i feel you"
"Precious"
Psyched that you finally broke the seal on reacting to DM! Their electronic-only pop sound was so unique and mind blowing when they appeared in the 80s. No shortage of popular songs to react to per the comments. Strangelove is timeless classic, and early tracks like Everything Counts, Just Can't Get Enough and Get the Balance Right showcase their early synth-heavy sound.
Depeche Mode is my all time favorite group. I've been a fan of there's since 1983, I was 6 years old when my older sister came home with their ConstructionTime album. 10 years later we saw them on there 1993 Devotional Tour at MSG and we had 2nd row seats. It was hands down the best concert I've ever been to. That night truly changed my life.
Brad & Lex, You'll love their "Just Can't Get Enough" and "Everything Counts". Their Global Spirit ConcertTour May2017-July2018 grossed $202 million. Now that's staying power!! (their first top 10 hit was from 1981 in the UK). This song is from 1989.
Depeche mode is my favorite band, and I've been listening to them since the '80s. They still continue to make amazing music to this day. Anyway, personal Jesus is about manipulative televangelist taking advantage of people's need for religion. I hope you check out their music from other decades, it's all good to me.
dude I love the last part hitting all kind of different sounds. i could hear that for ever.
2:26 y 4:44 these reactions make me smile. Good job guys. This song is a classic on the playlist of my life. Let me say, the term “Industrial” for this song fits perfect. And the influence on Marilyn Manson’s music too.
First band I saw in concert back in1987/88. Throws me back to middle school/high school... Love DM, they have so many great songs...their early sound is very different from their later sound...but all good. Hope you listen to more of them
Depeche Mode often strike this weird balance between high energy and chill at the same time. You can get ready for night out, work out and relax to the same song. Dusty Hill (RIP) of ZZ Top loved this track and said it was a great blues song. As soon as I heard that I realised he was right and had never noticed because the tempo was fast for a blues song.
Really, blues? I love it too but can't quite and find those old Muddy Waters roots in this
One of my favorite bands since I was in high school (in the 80’s). I hope you keep going down this rabbit hole. I’m still in there after all these years. They are so good. Definitely thought provoking. 😊
Depeche Mode is my favorite band! I have seen them live twice. For the record, they still put on an amazing show! I definitely suggest going down the DM rabbit hole. 💜🖤💜
Depeche Mode are unique is no other band like them , they have unique style , you should do more of them
These songs changed dance floors. I agree, they have a lot of worthwhile stuff. I'd also suggest that they add some Tangerine Dream and some Orchestral Maneuvers in the Dark. And I suspect they would really like the full length version of Friends of Mr. Cairo by Vangelis and Jon Anderson.
Well, they were huge and influential, but the whole grunge thing in the 90s supplanted where they were taking music. Having said that, grunge never really took off in Europe the way it did in North America, so this DM sound continued to influence bands over there. I'm thinking bands like VNV Nation, Apoptygma Bezerk and Covenant. So, ya, there is only one DM, but their sound can still be found in other bands
@@larryhammond5907 This is just my personal impression, (as a North American who's lived in Europe), but I've always taken it that EDM and House Music were the children of punk-spun New Wave from groups like Depeche Mode or Tangerine Dream, whereas Grunge headed off its own direction from the pop, rock and hard rock of groups like Fleetwood Mac Metallica. One stayed with real instruments and the others went more with computers and samples etc.
Not really true. There were plenty of bands around similar to Depeche Mode at the time. They were influenced by bands like Kraftwerk and and Yellow Magic Orchestra crossed with the likes of Bowie and Eno. Industrial post punk was big. Gary Numan preceded them as did OMD and Japan among many others. I love Depeche Mode but they are just part of the scene
@@s.mcpherson6354 Hard rock, Fleetwood Mac? 🤔
Personal Jesus is a whole different level of musical experience. Nothing like it when you hear it live. And yeah you want that last part to play forever. D🌹M
‘Entrancing sound’ great summation of the track and the band. Subscribed.
Yall are really hitting some of my favorites today! Cyprus Hill, Depeche Mode, Beastie Intergalactic. Well done youngins!
Enjoy the Silence is a masterpiece of a song
Was never a fan back in the day but their music has matured and I can appreciate the genius now.
I’ve been waiting for you two do do Depeche Mode, thanks.
More Depeche Mode please! They have a ton of brilliant songs!
I used to collect their singles on 12" records, (you know vinyl) back in high school '89-'93. Anyway, the end half that gets a little musically "heavy" was actually one half of my FAVORITE remix of this song. So glad when Violator came out, they used at least half of it 😂
A Broken Frame is an album that still holds up today.....great band....Enjoy the Silence is a must!
Ohhhh you guys!!!? You have made me so happy. You are listening to one of THE BEST bands ( in my opinion cause I LUUUUUUUVE them). I'm excited!!!!!!!!!!
And these boys can put on a SHOW. Great performers.
Hi Both. One of the earliest and best of the electro 80s UK bands. Excellent live band. Dave Gahan is a magnetic front man- huge presence, charisma and showmanship. Keep going with them
People Are People
Master and Servant
Route 66
Blasphemous Rumors
Just Can't Get Enough
Somebody
these are all great DM songs. I saw them live in High School from the "Music for the Masses" tour.
You forgot their best song : Enjoy The Silence 😉
... and they're all absolutely ideal for playing in church! 😇😳🤥
Love that you mentioned Route 66-- one of my personal favorites from them.
Depeche Mode! YES! Welcome to a cool-af rabbit hole!
🖤🖤🖤🖤
You guys are soooo cute. As I sit here (correctly) mouthing the words and bouncing to the beat, you two are loving the beat and debating the meaning -- something that my friends and I did many years ago, but also long ago decided that it's "meaning" didn't matter. It was a great song by a great group, and we were better for knowing the music.
LOVE your work; love your attitudes and love that you are popularizing some of "my" music.
It's about having friend to talk to who actually cares. Do "Someone" by them. So beautiful.
They started out as a synth pop band. 3 men on Keys/synthesizers and a vocalist. Listen to songs like Photographic, New Life and Just Can't Get Enough. Later Martin Gore started playing guitar. David Gahan are a very great singer. In the original Line Up were also Vince Clarke. He later made Yazoo with Alison Moyet. Check out Don't Go, Only You and Winter Kills. Later he created Erasure with Andy Bell. You should also check out Depeche Mode - Barrel of a Gun and Master & Servant. Talking about drugs you should listen to Never Let Me Down Again
“Blasphemous Rumors”, “Little 15”, “Fly on the Windscreen” and “Master and Servant” are my favorites
Depeche Mode was played quite often in my car while I was in high school... and for good reason. - They, along with other alternative/new wave groups like New Order and Pet Shop Boys always created such awesome music.
Great era for this type of music! Like the song...my favorite DM song!
It's a song about being a Jesus for somebody else, someone to give you hope and care. It's about how Elvis Presley was her man and her mentor and how often that happens in love relationships; how everybody's heart is like a god in some way, and that's not a very balanced view of someone, is it?..based on the book Elvis book Priscilla and me!! Depeche mode is phenomenal!!
No its not.
@@dreadtrain2846 look it up!
🤣🤣🤣 This is the MOST facial reaction I've seen out of Brad! That grin and head bobbin
Yez!!!!🤣DM turned him on...I knew it would
Love how you love this music one of the greatest bands of the 80's and I lived near them, same age as them said hi to them in Basildon when I saw them
My dance teacher back in the day would use this song for across-the-floor warm ups. Love this song.
The keyboardist Alan Wilder has an amazing solo project band "Recoil' the song "Want" was used in the NFS Undercover game and is a good start, but "Breath Control" is the best.
This song is played in Goth/Industrial clubs so Lex is spot on with the vibes
DM was one of my faves, along with other electro rock bands they were an alternative to the 80's hairbands . That is a deep well of music you just tapped into. Now try some Front 242, especially "headhunter", that song is still played in clubs
“ One: you lock the target...” 🔥
@@ashleydixon4613 "Two: You bait the line"
"Three, you slowly spread the net"
All in on Headhunter!
"And Four, you catch the man!"
Brad, you were especially charming in this one. I enjoyed your commentary and how you seemed to get into this one more than some other songs. Merry Christmas, you guys. Thanks for providing so many entertaining hours to me.
Depeche Mode is amazing, I didnt appreciate them when I was a kid seeing them on MTV but as I got older I really dig their sound and songs.
Love them. My favorite is "World in my Eyes." They had such a unique, fresh sound. Also, Marilyn Manson's cover is SO GOOD.
Just the comment I was looking for. Love Manson’s version.
Ooh the long version! Love it. Great reaction! (And before anyone tries to correct me, I know there are longer remix versions, they don't count lol)
I still LOVE this guitar tone/riff!!! The slide blues thing is awesome on this! It's so easy even I can play it (I'm a drummer with basically ZERO guitar skills), and yet its PERFECT for the beat and melody!!!
Funny: I know this song for AGES and love it... I also LOVE Elvis Presley, and today, after watching Elvis again for uncountable times, I saw your reaction which, with the "drug" hypothesis makes me look for the meaning of this song, and it was inspired by Elvis... He was the "personal Jesus"... How could I discover that after 30 years of intensely listening to music, DM and Elvis being one of those ?
Anyway, thank you for the reaction, and the indirect knowledge that one of my favorite songs was just about one of my favorite performers...
I highly recommend listening to the whole album, "Violator". It has some of the bands finest songs on it, including my favourites, "Waiting for the Night" and "Halo".
Love a bit of Depeche Mode! This was a part of my musical youth (pardon the band name drop... Musical Youth). I remember trying not to like DM because they weren't a part of my music genre but it was impossible because they totally rocked!
I love how you take him thru with you 💞
it's really fun to see people hearing the music we've been listening to for over 40 years for the first time. Thanks for the video :-)
I recommend you watch them live. This track is just a small sample of their enormous catalog. Another band to check out is New Order which has great beats as well.
So glad you’re doing the Mode! Love love love them! Listen to Lex… Dave Gahan DID have a drug past. Please do more! I Feel You, Policy of Truth, Never Let Me Down again, Barrel of a Gun, Behind the Wheel, Enjoy the Silence, Heaven…oh my! Huuuuge catalog of great songs. This is a huge rabbit hole
One of my favorite club songs. I remember walking into Florentine gardens in Hollywood with this playing.
I’m going with “people are people” ,great message😜 and a good song.OMG! U can even call it a dance tune!
I love Depeche Mode because their songs are so unique and are left up to your own interpretation. Personally, I don't think is a religious song. I see it more as a person telling another person they want to be that person they can believe in. Check out their hit, People are People, my favorite. This is the eighties, so much variety!
The whole Violator album is amazing. You need to do “Enjoy the silence” 🔥
That final outtro is a highpoint at every DM concert. Kills me everytime. SO f****** cool
I use to jam to Depeche mode at The Oasis Club in San Jose, CA back in the late 80s.... Mixes to personal jesus, strange love, and behind the wheel were off the chain.
Not church music or drug song, lol. I always thought it was a borderline seduction song, either for a relationship or something shorter term. Great track, great band with tons of great songs. Was lucky enough to see them live in 2018 at the Wells Fargo Center & they put on an amazing show. You may want to check out People Are People next for video (or stream opener lol) ✌
I used to think it was about those religious televangelist lol!
I always thought it was drawing parallels between televangelists and telephone "adult" chat lines.
@@seamusinboston Ever noticed how a chalice and a font, respectively containing 'blood' and 'holy' water, have a similar shape to the outline of a uterus?
Surely it doesn't take a cunning linguist to figure that language out?!
@@seamusinboston That's kind of my feel of it too. A sex hotline using a televangelist-style sales tactic.
It sounds to me like a relatiomship song where he's singing about his girl needing her own Personal Jesus i.e. him. That he can convince her to "believe" in his "religion" which may be love between them two or something else
Depeche Mode had so many great songs! I recommend you hit "Policy of Truth" and "People Are People" next.
Been a fan of theirs for years. Glad you guys did DM.
Depeche Mode is a great band with a huge catalog of great music. Like others mentioned, "Never Let me Down Again", "Policy of Truth" , "Enjoy the Silence", etc...etc....
A lot of good memories listening to Depeche Mode.
Hell yeah! Love DM! Recommend "Shake the disease", "Useless" and "Never let me down again" amongst a ton of other great songs they made.
I've always loved this group. Marilyn Manson covered this track and did a great job too.
Thanks for listening g to one of my favorite bands!!!
Try "Enjoy the Silence" by them, and try Strange Love.
Their early 80s albums was the birth of industrial music. & this song is like industrial western! Also: being in the concert crowd when they say REACH OUT & TOUCH FAITH is amazing!!
You must listen to “never let me down again.”
Please try listening to, I Feel You, with Depeche Mode.
Just can't get enough!!! Everyone will enjoy especially Lex 😜
One of my all-time favorite bands. Check out the songs “Enjoy The silence”, “Waiting For The Night”, “Blue Dress”, “World In My Eyes”, and “Clean” - all of which are on the album ‘Violator’, which features Personal Jesus.
Other Depeche Mode songs you should check out are ‘Never Let Me Down Again’, ‘Black Celebration’, ‘Fly On The Windscreen’, ‘Stripped’, ‘A Question Of Time’ ,‘Sometimes’, and ‘Everything Counts’.

In 2017, I splurged and flew to London to see Depeche Mode play the olympic stadium there. I had VIP tickets right at the stage with 80,000 screaming fans behind me..... that was one of the best nights of my life. Love this band.

Y'all playing some awesome songs tonight!
