What is a good way to get into setting up the wiring and learn how to do the boards and everything? If i were to look up a class, what should i look for so i can learn that stuff pretty much? I seen your other videos and it looks easy mechanically but the functionality is what throws me for a loop. I appreciate your channels and it's very inspiring. I hope you guys have a great year.
If you used a plug and play encoder for the switches would that still work, and also what diameter are the switches to go along with the tek-creation panel
I used DCS BIOS for all switches, so you would need to check with the hardware you want to use is compatible if you want to go down that path. All pots and encoders are 6mm from memory.
I have a cobbled together build using a realism’s racing seat and wheel stand. I’d love to see the plans for the wood, my carpentry skills aren’t very good and the consoles that I built aren’t nearly as nice.
Hi mate, sorry no plans. As mentioned I built my pit using reference photos. For actually plans recommend you look at OpenHornet. Good luck with your build!
Not including the PC, around 8k AUD. I already had the tv, control stick, rudders etc. I also used the opportunity to update some of my tools in the shed aswell, which added to the cost.
you work inspires me to keep going on my Hornet pit. You do beautiful work, mate. I learn a lot from your videos - thanks!
Keep going mate, its awesome having a pit!!
Thanks for sharing. Admire your technical expertise. I'm a decent carpenter but absolutely NO tech skills! Good looking pit.
Appreciate it , I had no tech skills at the beginning either, was a great way to learn.
