    Got my first car, BMW, loved it, engine blew up within 2 weeks. Laughed it off. Just thought damn im lucky enough to be able to buy a car in the first place. Thinking negatively about things just makes them worse. Just solve the problem in hand and move on positively. Optimism is a strategy.

      chantelle billy You are confusing ‘Halfcast’ with ‘half-caste’. The podcast is called ‘Halfcast’ because it is based around two guys (Chuckie and Poet), one of which is half the size of the other and they are casting opinions. The term ‘half-caste’ is used to describe someone as being half-pure and is degrading by its very definition. A caste system is used to rank people on the purity of their skin (usually the paler the purer). Hope this is helpful.

    energy and indifference. Have a positive energy & be indifferent about unnecessary things. JME having a positive energy and being indifferent about his PC breaking down is what led to a friend getting him getting a brand new one for free immediately. Energy is everything. With hard work and energy, you can actually manifest things into existence. Bout 2 years ago when I was starting uni, I was unemployed. I worked hard in finding a job along with prayer and I ended up getting 2 jobs in a week. Life gives you signs too. I missed out on tons of houses & I was stressed, I ended up getting a house that was better than every house I viewed before.

    This guy is so smart with how he teaches his child. You need to show them *why* things are the way they are. You don't really grasp the truth until you see or experience in some way the evidence for yourself. That's how you raise children who trust you and don't resent your influence on their development.

    Such big inspiration this episode. The topics are so real, deconstructing society from a to z.
    And conciousness of death is a game changer because like you guys say it just makes you reflect on everything in a whole different light.
    I love how JME is very outspoken about how he feels against the stream and how he embraces him being himself, is beautiful and inspiring.
    So important to spread this message that he keeps repeating: enjoying life and vibing no matter what. Vibrating on your own frequency. Distancing from boxes and getting closure to pure experience.
    Just giving less seconds to anything vibrating on a hate / low frequency. Is mad cause its a difficult thing living in this crazy world, but he speaks about like its integrated, and thats whats great about it, that you can tell is steaming from authenticity.

    56:46 I'm the same way. If everyone's watching something & discussing it, I don't want to be a part of that because I see a lot of them as followers & bandwagoners. I will watch it in my own time. Societal pressure isn't gonna force me into watching nothing. You tell people this & they all react the way Chuckie did to JME because they've been brainwashed into following trends & watching the new popular thing because everyone else is watching it.

      same with clothes like when you see a nice brand but everyone is buying it now like trapstar or kenzo etc. so you deter from buying it cause 75% people buying it are just followers and bandwagoners as you said

    • @justmike8753
      @justmike8753 5 років тому +7

      Ngl I don't think this is fully true. Your right about some people just jumping on band wagons, but you shouldn't reject doing something just because it's popular, especially if it's something you feel like you'd enjoy, why would it matter if you join others in something you like. Idk that mindset just feels a little close minded to me.

    • @michael43567
      @michael43567 5 років тому +2

      @@justmike8753 I get what you're saying but I'm not interested in the trends so it doesn't apply to me. There are some popular things I enjoy with the majority I.e football. But I'm saying you shouldn't follow for the sake of it.
      I actually think it's a more open-minded mindset because you're doing what you genuinely want to. Following others is more close minded because it's doing one thing, following.

    Understanding rarely comes without experience so the internet and social media has come at a perfect time. A perfect opportunity for growth - you can only use a thing for so long and still remain naive/ ignorant. The internet provides a portal into different worlds, world views, cultures, countries, and infinite knowledge but we will only learn to use it appropriately once we start using it and seeing its potential. We are an infant generation when it comes to internet technology, but global consciousness had to start somewhere. The fact that anyone who realises its potential and does not utilise it - there’s the problem. The internet has the potential for so much good - mobile banking & business ownership in the third world/ developing countries - just because some in the West are not hungry enough or too lazy not to use it beyond social media doesn’t mean the whole thing should be written off.

    The only reason why we don’t think of elderly’s shitting in a pad is because they are not in our lives in every moment.. only if my grandmother or me working at a care home then I will instantly subconsciously think of them other then that they won’t appear in every thought

      True, i tune out if he goes on for too long. I prefer him on his jd interview. He's really good at interviewing coz he listens and asks pertinent questions. But on this podcast, he just waffles on

    It's a bit weird that Chuckie has this huge ergonomic chair in his studio, but whenever there's a sofa or an arm chair he sits propped up on the arm of the chair. I mean, does he care about his back or not?
