Our Country and people are FINALLY fed up with our government catering to and coddling scumbags while good honest people suffer because of it. This won't be the lat time this happens...
I'm amazed this didn't happen sooner. The department has been so horribly run for decades now. Broken system. Sad state of affairs. Look what happened with the Housing Authority. Everyone there made all kinds of money, and people died due to the conditions. Richland County is a joke.
This was my DSS building. I slept on the floor with no blanket and didn’t shower or eat for two and a half days. It’s a joke for these “dss workers” to have to nerve to complain about a messy cubicle when the children they are supposed to be protecting and serving don’t even get the bare minimum in life. Disgusts me. Two or 3 of the women in this video were my caseworkers or people I dealt with. They will eat in front of a starving child, make racist and nasty comments at children, will drop you off and say they will be back and for many months don’t come back to check on you. f these people. They don’t care about children. Why don’t they talk about the inhumane treatment and living conditions of the children they’re suppose to be working to protect and help. Disgusted !
@@phoenixlee7949 oh it’s shocking who they allow to work so closely with vulnerable and abused children. Every case worker I EVER had was disgusting and horrible to me. They are in all honesty some of the trashiest and illiterate, mean and bitter people I have ever encountered. I pray that this is something people become aware of and the public pushes to have more transparency and higher regulation / standards for who is allowed to work with, serve, and protect children in the system.
I'm gonna continue to be a voice for the voiceless. DSS needs to be investigated by the Feds and The Dpt of Justice. We as parents have a responsibility to hold DSS accountable and to get involved and make sure the children of this State are being protected and taken care of. This isn't happening! The system is broken and needs to be totally reformed and restructed. This is embarrassing that an entire State Agency office walked off the job. This says a lot about how those workers feel. I can't say I blame them. I'm waiting to see if Michael Leach will keep his job. It's his job to clean this mess up!😢
These workers have some of the WORST attitudes. The are lazy and inflammatory. Then when you retort, they do what they can to intentionally hinder assistance. This is in many states across the nation. Very poor mentality and slothful in function. The good ones go onto other careers or higher in the afmin ranks, but not enough from within, to change the bad attitudes.
To walk off the job would imply that they actually do a job. DSS is the most incompetent state agency I have encountered. They usually try and pawn their job off to local law enforcement or anyone else besides themselves. 😒
I pray the Feds come down and start investigating South Carolina DSS. What is taking them so long to come down. Michael Leach needs to go! Thisbis happening too often Our kids aren't being taken of at those DSS offices. Those kids are acting out and reaching out for help from DSS hoping the news and Public will help them. Our State Legislators job is to do something as well as our Governor. Who is supposed to protect our kids? Why is this constantly happening? All of us need to call The Dpt of Justice. Why are these kids even staying at that nasty, filthy DSS building? If DSS don't want to work their why would thisw kids want to sleep and live there. People are covering up for DSS. DSS take kids from families when their homes aren't clean yet it's ok to house them as DSS nasty, filthy buildings. Something is wrong with this picture. It takes a village and that's us, we need to file complaints against DSS. Look at that kids comment and the deplorable conditions she had to live in. State of South Carolina should be ashamed of themselves. They're the child abusers and neglecters. We have to do our part and reach out to Federal authorities. If the conditions are so deplorable why haven't the DSS workers called the Feds?

This should have been rectified. Please put people on there who really care.

Before I saw your comment, I was thinking a few of those employees looked pretty sketchy

Absolutely true. How do these people get hired?

Looking at some of these clips in this video, this comment seems believable

DSS is a waste of tax money.
And what's your answer??
