I conceal carry (CCW) everyday in San Diego, California. I wear my T1C holsters with DDC metal clips slightly lower than stock. Not printing is VERY important to me. Been carrying almost a year now and no one has ever asked me if I’m armed (snug belt, holster height, wing push; are key). Gun nor magazine have never fallen out or rode up in their sleeve. Took me about 6-8 months to be completely comfortable and paranoia-free in public. Now it’s like a cell phone or keys in my pocket! Thanks! 🇺🇸😎
I can vouch for it just being like keys or a wallet. I feel absolutely naked if I'm not carrying (airport or courthouse, something like that).

Used to live in 619. Can’t imagine CC’ing there. Would be so paranoid. Thankfully I now live in a free state where it’s very common
I’m in San Diego as well. The paranoia is real haha. I’m about a year in as well. Started carrying a shield like most but made myself carry my G19 and now it’s my go to daily. Maybe not in summer. Took a while to get it set just right and the right wedge combo. Never had anyone notice either and definitely feel weird when I don’t have it with me.
California, I can’t even imagine living there, I’m on the opposite coast and likely won’t be visiting the other coast anytime ever. When I read your post I wondered if you ever checked out urban carry. Specifically, their G3 is a below the waist band holster that rides at 1 or 1:30 on your body. No claws or wings and no weapon sticking part way out of your waistband. It’s a leather holster with click retention and best of all, the weapon is completely covered on both sides by the leather holster. I know you are wondering if it compares at all to the draw speed you can get from appendix, the answer is yes. It has a very unique way of deploying your weapon and it works very very well after just a little bit of practice. No printing, the gun and holster ride under your right side pocket of your pants, even if it prints being covered by leather it simply looks like there’s something in your pocket. You can still use the pocket of your pants as well. For me personally there seems to be no down side to the G3. If you haven’t checked them out, you should based on your comment. You won’t have to worry about printing anymore depending on the size of the weapon. I’m betting your sporting a compact, you will forget it’s hanging there behind your pocket after 4 or 5 days. You will only notice when it’s not there actually, like something is missing. It’s an amazing holster and no I have no reason other than that g3 works so well for me and I’m full sized always, harder to conceal but that thing works great. If you have already looked at them and went another way, sorry for the long reply that didn’t really help you. Peace.

I just received my Tier 1 Axis Elite for my Walther PDP Full Size 5 inch barrel a couple days ago. You guys made it open ended for me because you didn’t have a mold for the 5 inch. That doesn’t bother me one bit, although if you do get a mold for the 5 inch, I guarantee I will be ordering another Axis Elite since I have two 5 inch PDP’s! I have to say, it is BY FAR the best holster I have ever bought. If someone thinks, “it’s just another plastic holster”, there is no way they have bought one. I have many holsters for many different pistols from many companies. I’m late to the Tier 1 party, but I’m so happy I’m here! Thanks guys!

I got my Axis Slim with sidecar about a month ago super happy with the quality , after some adjustments got it where it’s comfortable for me will be purchasing the belt next along with another holster for my other carry gun !

I IWB carry and have the Kore belt displayed in the video. It is an awesome belt for edc. It has perfect rigidity for supporting your rig and is easily adjustable.

Im about to order hopefully these fit decent for a belly. Not a big belly but definitely not thin. I carry a g19 currently appendix but got a amazon holster want to give you guys a try when i buy my hellcat
I use a TXC Helix instead of wings and wedges. It pushes the clip itself out at an angle and acts like a wing. Less bulky of a look that way.
Will that axis elite holster hold up well if your using it without the mag holder part of it… since it only has 1 clip holding it now ?

I love my Tier 1 holster. I hate the 2 clip system. Thats why i rarely use it. Im looking at the Neo Mag Alias system for easier use.

Love Tier 1 (obviously, after 6 holsters), but room for improvement is definitely in the wedge "system". Start offering these with Velcro, so that the person can experiement with several to find the one which fits them the best. Having adhesive glue sticking to your holster, and the time it takes to get that off to try another one, is a RPITA...Thanks!
Agreed! It’s a great wedge but I add Velcro tape to them.
Same I put Velcro loop on the holster and the opposite to the wedges that way you can reuse them on different holsters and configurations.

It depends on the individual and the specific pair of pants! Most people wear their normal size or 1 size larger.

Also, everyone should know they can buy from you with confidence - my first holster from you had a very slight “wobble” when my frrearm was fully seated in it… sent a video to customer service for advice on how to fix and instead of instructions I had a brand new holster along with ALL the extras I ordered in my mailbox 4 days later… I now have 5 or 6 of your holsters, best company out there!

Get an axis elite. IMO, that’s their best holster. I carry a Glock 19x with a tlr7a with 2 patches on the gun and light. You might need to trim it which is easy!

What's the capacity for a p10f extended? I carry a p10c (absolutely love it) but the p10f is just a little too big for my personal carry choice (strong side, 3 o'clock). Standard capacity for the p10f is 17 right? So extended is what....19?
Suggestion - Maybe using velcro for the wedges? Using an adhesive is kind of a one way street, especially if you need to try more than one size, or later want to remove it?
That's a pretty common hack that we recommend for people new to our wedges or for those who are unsure of what size they need!
Being as the clips are adjustable for ride height, am I correct in assuming that they can also adjust the Cant-Angle of the holster too?
Need that belt with the soft back. Lower back surgery has really hinderd carrying. Awesome design 🤙🏼

If im a small guy around 120 lbs 5'6, and I conceal a gen 3 taran glock 34, enforcement wild 2, rmr sight, which clips should I use to conceal better? Or does it normally come with the clips that go lower?
Most people have great success with the EZ Adjust belt clips, they're very adjustable as far as ride height goes. The DCC clips are also a great option, they're a little slimmer profile but not quite as adjustable as the EZ Adjust clips.

Currently no, the only holster that we offer that would work would be the MSP Pro Series or MSP FLX. Both are great options.

I think I ordered the wrong mag carrier because my mag is 10 Massachusetts rounds but the original standard capacity is 15 Fredoom rounds. My 10 rounds mag is the same size as the standard 15 but with less rounds. I feel my mag on my ribs 😂. Still my best holster by far.

If I’m planning on purchasing a light but haven’t yet, will the light accommodating holster still keep my firearm secure?
Most likely no, but it depends on the specific gun make/model and light make/model. Typically we don't recommend using the light bearing holsters without the light on the gun.

No shortage of options, but I think it would make a lot more sense to buy something like this in-person where you could “try it on” rather than having to guess with some of the options… I liken it to buying a car from a catalog. I’d want to sit in it and get some sort of feel for it first…

Before I ordered I asked customer service if my plus would fit the Xiphos2. They said yes it will fit. So I ordered and It didn’t fit. This was the email when I asked about return and replacement for it:
We do not actually guarantee fitment of the Shield Plus in a Shield 2.0 holster the firearms are very similar but we make each holster to the exact measurements of each gun listed so any slight differences can cause issues. As long as you are using the exact firearm that the holster was ordered for and it is non light bearing, you should be getting a positive click retention. Our only specific options for the Shield Plus at this time are in the Axis and Agis Elite those two holsters we can guarantee fitment and click retention.

Are you going to bring back the high sweat guard?
Not likely in the near future. Keep in mind, when we made that change, we applied a slightly higher than "mid" sweatguard as the standard cut. Our sweat guards right now are maybe 1/2" to 3/4" shorter than what the high sweat guards used to be. Very small change, especially considering that top piece of extra kydex was only cover part of the slide.

My 19X moves up and down probably around an 1/8 inch on an Axis Elite is this normal? I have a $45 holster for another pistol and it doesn't move.
Some wiggle is normal, but not a lot. Make sure the screws are tightened down sufficiently but the retention isn't too tight.
@@Tier1Concealed Thank You for the reply. It has good retention and I put thread locker on the screws. Even after tightening my belt the gun still moves up and down. I heard that happens when using blue guns or replicas. I assume you guys use the actual gun?

I have a few kore belts that I run with for edc and love em. You can not beat the micro adjust ability they provide and I rely on that all week long as my waist size and load changes.

We don't make anything for that specifically, but you could use the MSP or MSP FLX if you're running an x300u, tlr-1, or pl350 weapon light.
Why isn't the axis slim available for p365?
Because we made the AXIS ELITE for that model, so it kind of replaced the slim.
SCT claims their lower will fit in your axis elite. Its on their website. But they don't say which footprint. Is this truth or not, and which footprint is?(polymer 80, glock, dagger)
I don't see that on their website... We haven't been able to test any of them ourselves so I can't say if it would fit or not.
@Tier1Concealed Type in SCT frame holster. A link from SCT will pop up to a there PDF file showing holsters that will fit. Tier 1 axis elite is on the list.
Why did you guys stop making a high sweat guard?
We crunched the numbers and it was a pretty uncommon selection, so we removed it and made everything a "mid height" which helped streamline production and speed up part of our processes. We are constantly trying to lower lead times and get your holsters to you as soon as possible!
@@Tier1Concealed you should’ve still kept it as an option. I’d rather wait and get the holster I want since I pay for it. You should let the customer decide. Being able to get the Holster in less than two weeks it’s pretty cool, but it’s not as exciting if I don’t get the option that I actually want.
I recently bought the axis slim for my 3.8 xdm but I find it bulky and the medium wedge was hurting so I had to switch it to small. I’m 5’8” 195 with a gut and I feel like this holster is better for flat stomach people. Not very comfortable but hey it’s made strong and sturdy with cool extra options, just not sure the price is worth it and the wait.

I am a chubby guy and I'm wondering if appendix carry will work for me.
I just looked at the Tier 1 website and it says 5-15 business day lead time. That is better than their normal 5 to 6 week lead time. That is if the hold to what the website says. Also people don't realize the lead time is the time it takes for them to get to your order. Not the amount of time they will have your order to you. 5-15 days means you will get your holster in 4 to 5 weeks. I have both a Tier 1 holster and a T-Rex arms holster. They are practically the same holster. Kydex is kydex. The thing that bothers most people about Tier 1 other than the very long wait times is the fact that they act like they are manufacturing a "Custom" holster in order to justify their extremely long lead times. If you think about it, all holster that offer light options could be called "Custom". But throwing a specific light on a pistol model to use as a mold is far from "Custom". But many other companies will make the same style holster and get them to the customer in 5-7 days. The main reason Tier 1 takes so long is because they do not carry the kydex in house. So when you place your order and make your payment they then order the the kydex needed. This is why they do not allow you to change or cancel your order 24 hours after placing it. When I ordered my holster they said 2-4 week lead time. Five weeks later I still had not received my holster. I tried to cancel it and they refused and said they could send me out a t-shirt for my troubles. I ordered a T-Rex arms holster and it arrived in seven days. A week later my Tier 1 holster showed up (seven full weeks after ordering). The big thing I noticed was they both ran and wore exactly the same. The kydex is the same thickness. The difference is that the Tier 1 uses "Shock cord" to hold the mag pouch to the holster and the way you adjust the belt clips is different. I'm sure someone will say they love theirs and that is fine. I just think the company has a lack luster way of doing things. It really seems like they are not committed to customer satisfaction or improving the way they operate seeing these issues have been on going for a long time. If they are overwhelmed by orders then they need to look at expanding their capabilities and hire more people. At the end of the day. Both holsters work. Neither is overly better than the other. One arrives in a very timely manner while the other arrives when they get around to making and shipping it. One you can change after you place the order as long as it has not shipped. The other you better make sure you got your order right and don't try and cancel it after it doesn't arrive in the time you were told, because the best they can do is offer you a gun cleaning rag (IE t-shirt).
Hey man, I'm sorry you had that experience! What is your name? I would love to look up your order and see why it took so long. Our 5-15 business day lead time means that your order will ship out from our facility within 5-15 business days. We also have all materials including kydex on hand.
Lead time says 5-15 days, I ordered another holster from them on 4-4-24 and they shipped it yesterday. Took about 8 days for them to receive the order, build it and ship it out. I’ve never had a bad experience with T1C, I do have a holster that I can’t use because no matter how I set it up the printing is just too bad, that could be blamed on the gun I’m running. But at the end of the day these guys make solid gear that is worth a couple weeks wait time. I’ve told a lot of people if they plan to get a holster and the gun to go ahead and order the holster early.
So I have REALLY been wanting to try your guys holsters out, especially as an avid appendix carrier….unfortunately none of your holsters are compatible with o light. Why??
I understand they aren’t the top expensive brand but they are very popular in the 2A community. I feel like they are similar to Holosun in that way.
I know R&D is costly and timely but it couldn’t be that much to adapt all your current holsters to use o light, stream light and sure fire could it?
I feel like just by adding that 1 option to ALL of your holster choices you’d be expanding your potential customer base by at least 25-30% no?

Need more color offering for your flannel and you guys need to make holsters quicker for newly available guns. You guys take FOREVER to come out with a holster for new gun release
True, on both accounts. We plan on dropping more flannel colors this year! New gun and light options typically take a while. R&D is a very expensive and lengthy process when done correctly. That being said, we are still working on speeding up the process for our most highly requested and popular options!
I prefer to duct tape my pistol to my back like in Die Hard . Cheap and great for shoulder flexibility

You guys make great holsters, I own a few. But when you don't make holsters available for a wider assortment of firearms, even after making requests for about a year now, it turns customers off and to seek other products. Just sayin' 😢
There's no way you dropped this comment. It's sad that Lucas and companies like T1C need to explain why they can't just make any holster for any firearm. The cost is not worth it if you are only going to get 5 or even 100 orders.

Holster smith sells molds for just about every pistol on the market for a $41.95. So you mean to tell me they can't spend $41.95 on a mold to make a $140 holster. That is about a $80 profit per holster after man hours and shipping along with an expanded product line. @@Osprey1994
